:o You all have put me to shame! Apart from my kickboxing thing and a good old trog round the shops yesterday I've done nothing this weekend!
However I do have a decision on the Bridesmaid dresses - I will post a pic of my size 8  bridesmaid  We've also been talking about invites and table decorations and tea lights and things like that - she is a design student, so we are well matched when it comes to getting excited about paper! Oh and yesterday I tried on some shortie shorts in Topshop, and my legs didn't look half bad :D I wouldda bought them however the size 14s were too tight on my thighs and the 16s were ok on my thighs and far too big on my @$$! I have two-size bottom half! I always knew I was strange! I ate too much yesterday and Sunday, yesterday started off ok, but then descended into a tub of Ben and Jerry's, then creme egg and a penguin biscuit!    I need to get my Dr Phil No-fail environment sorted out methinks! Ah well never mind! I have some pictures of me kickboxing that I am going to sort out on the kickboxing website - I will post the link when they're up! Then tonight is kickboxing training! :hyper: Starting to train for my next EASY belt! :D |

Here we go, here's my sexy bridesmaid ;)
|
Gorgeous dress, really lovely colour. :censored: slim bridesmaid though.
I feel really energised after my run, scary old me, getting up at sparrow wotsit. Now I'm back at work on my normal job, yay!!! |
That dress looks really great on her. Is she very short or is that dress very long?
Okay.... now, I am not a great one for sweet things, but I have to know what is so special about Ben & Jerry's icecream? So many people seem to really love it. I'd especially love to know whats in the fish food one (yeah, I know I've got the spelling wrong). LBWO this morning followed by abs then stretches - and the dogs are waiting for me to take them for their walk. Its pathetic - after I've finished breakfast and cleaned the kitchen George takes that as a signal that we're going walkies soon. He then goes in to his own little ritual - he gets their extending leads, my trainers (out of the understairs cupboard) and my walk bag one at a time and piles them up by the front door then sighs and grumbles until I take them out. Blummin' dog! |
She's very short and the dress is very long - it was scraping the floor on me!!
Maddening thing - she says she's put on 6kg and she's STILL tiny! :tantrum: and FYI the 8 didn't quite do up all the way! ;) Ben and Jerry's Phish Food - is chocolate ice cream (very rich) with marshmallow and caramel swirled through it with little chocolate fish shapes in it. Don't EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING IT! It's EVIL! I'm not particularly a fan of ice cream, but skwigg writes about it so I thought I'd treat myself to some. The most dangerous thing about it is that it's best to eat it out the tub - doesn't taste so nice in a bowl! I can't wait to get rid of it! I might throw it out - or I might see if I can restrain myself to eat a tiny spoonful at a time! George is one clever doggy! |
Take my advice don't buy a tub cos you'll have to eat it at one sitting which is just wrong. If you want to try some go to the cinema and get a one scoop tub thats the only way I let myself buy some.
The oatmeal one is heaven. Its the best icecream in the world. |
I adore ice cream, love it. And adore phish food, which I don't consume anymore, as I cannot do moderation with ice cream. If I want Ben and Jerry's I have to go to the cinema, instant portion control!
 George is so funny! My ex's mum had a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Tara. If you sneezed, Tara would trot and get you a Kleenex! Work is manic today, but it's so nice to be doing my normal job! Edited to say:  princess, we were writing that at the same time, I only ever eat B & J's at the cinema now!!! Cookie Dough is my poison of choice!!! |
Its the perfect solution. The cinema thing its the only way to go with ben and jerrys its either that or cut it out totally. I can normally leave icecream quite happily I have half a tub of vanilla in the freezer now and its been there for ages but Ben and Jerrys wouldn't be there a day.
|
I'm exactly the same, a tub of supermarket vanilla is quite safe, but forget Ben and Jerry's. I haven't had a post work stress out ice cream binge since I started this thing 18 months ago!
I like the little tubs of Skinny Cow, you buy in a box of 4. |
ooh I tell you whats nice. Yeo valley strawberry yogurt which is gorgeous is now out in a frozen yogurt and its lovely and yog is better for you than icecream.
Edit: Thats than icecream not with icecream I must be subconsciously hungry lol. |
Oh well - thats me done for! I don't much like icecream, don't like chocolate and I hate marshmallow, unless its toasted on a skewer over a BBQ. I might try some next time I go to the cinema - it'll make a change from those MASSIVE tubs of popcorn which always has a peculiar affect on my digestive system the following day.
I just wish I could teach George to put everything away when we get home. We haven't managed to work out how he gets the understairs cupboard door open. Fred, my other dog, is just as strange. He has a strong herding instinct and keeps on trying to 'round up' George and me when we are out walking so we are together in a tight little group. In fact he's pretty much like that indoors - he loves us all being together. In his ideal world me, DH and the two dogs would spend our lives sitting quietly on the sofa in the living room feeding Fred liquice allsorts. |
You might think you would hate it but I've never met anyone that dislikes Ben and Jerrys its amazing. Yum chunky monkey
|
No, Sarah, you REALLY would HATE IT! :barf: It's disgusting! And not at all clean.
Bless your dogglies! I love 'em  Was Fred the one on a diet? He needs to cut down on Bertie Basset  |
Yeah its def not clean food if you want to be put off read notmilk.com
|
No - George is the one on a semi-permanent diet (he finds it very easy to put on weight) - Fred is the young 'un - we bought Fred to give George an incentive to exercise, we didn't realise that Fred would prefer George to just sit still all the time :( Fred is very, very fond of liquorice allsorts but we only allow him one a day cos they give him botty burps.
I wish I hadn't looked at that notmilk.com website - I always used to enjoy my nightly cup of hot milk before bed but I might have a re-think now! :( |
