Well I did not a lot today, unless you count having my hair done and taking Alfie to the park!

Cat - Just remember that it is absolutely freezing here and be glad you're not in the frozen north.

Thanks for the fingers and toes crossed Veggie, I miss you always

Cat, you made me laugh calling your hubby a git... I've not heard that one in a while... Shame you can't go with him, if he does go, just make sure he brings back loads of stuff that you want, or if he comes back without, don't let him back in the house...

Windy here too, cooling down quite dramatically for sunny AZ, only supposed to be 64 tomorrow.....brrrrr....I'm gonna freeze my ar$e off when I'm home, they've already had a snowfall which settled this week. Still, I'll think positively and realize that the extra weight I've put on should keep me warmer

I've had a fab weekend, shopping yesterday and today, watching the Aussies lose a RL test series for the first time in 27 years (sorry Kylie ), and doing the Abbey Dash. I definitely finished quicker than my last 10k and may have broken 60 minutes (or got pretty close - the time on the clock was 62.30, but it took ages to cross the start so I'm waiting for the time from the timing chip to come through). I actually ran every step of it - the first time I've ever done that in a race (from my vast experience of 2 previous ones).

I also may have found some potential christmas party dresses. It all depends whether I find magic pants and whether I summon up the courage to show A LOT of thigh...

Hello Brit! I've missed you! It'll be a real christamssy chrsitmas this year with all the snow!

YP you are so good! You're an inspiration! I've got my running gear packed with me, I just have to make sure there's no excuses to go out at lunchtime! Hmmm I am feeling a bit below par, but not too bad at the moment... We'll see what happens! Although I really do want to get back on the healthy wagon again! I think the tail end of last week was just finishing off my Japanese binge! Maybe I didn't leave my inner fat chick on the plane after all! But I'm sure I squashed her last night after eating about 10 chocolate digestives! I feel more motivated after a binge (is that crazy or is THAT CRAZY? )

Cat - get thee to the ball cinderella!

Okay - I will keep you updated on the jogging ie whether I go or not...

Wooooo! Yeah holidays! I think winter holidays rock! Only next year I'm going to Cyprus or somewhere warm!

I did it - I went jogging in my lunch hour! I casually mentioned it to one of my colleagues while we were out doing an assessment this morning and he didn't think anything of it, even suggested where to run! No-one else noticed that I'd been out of the office, and what's more, no-one noticed me creeping around in my sports gear! I'm really pleased I went, I pushed myself too and I almost did all of the programme that I was supposed to do (I only skived 1 min 10 secs of running which isn't bad for a first try!). I am chuffed Ooooh and what's more, I'm not hungry. Maybe it's the thought of the weird tuna egg fried rice that I have for lunch...

I'm so excited! I've bought a dress for friday, and it makes me look thin enough to get inspired to turn up...

I even have accessories that match it already.

Now all I need is sufficiently supportive and flattening underwear and I'm all set
