Janey did you see my friends blog with the similar cycle story? She commented on yours about it.

Weights and exercise ball today. No cardio for a change. Tempted to go out for a jog later though if it cools down a bit, otherwise I might just mow the lawn.

Actually, the jog will probably be less strenuous

I did weights and swam at the gym today. And I did cardio and fit ball at the works gym at lunch, and moaned to my instructor that I haven't lost weight in two weeks. He is going to do all my measurements tomorrow to see if it is just sticky scale syndrome or whether I have really stalled.

Mowing counts as exercise, doesn't it.

I need decking. Or a goat.

Decking definitely!! More reliable than a goat. Although you could do a sideline in goats cheese or yoghurt, do it yourself goat's cheese???

Great upper body and cardio exercise, as long as the effects are not negated by copious amounts of Stella afterwards!!!

Yeah Veggie, I saw your friend's blog - what is it about teenage boys that makes them suck d%ckheads? Honestly, haven't they got anything better to do than humiliate fat ladies on pushbikes? Ah well, it could be worse - my mate had stones thrown at her the last time she ventured out in cycling shorts!

I've been working far too hard and too long - hardly any time to exercise or to check in here (my work firewall blocks me from checking in when I'm at work - b*st%rds!). Managed 30 mins rebounding tonight and I'm about to lift weights while watching CSI. Nice and distracting for Kim!

Today 1 mile running, but my new trainers are rubbing so I didn't want to do much more. Then a nice long 45 minute swim.

I might go back to wearing my old trainers tomorrow so that I can get a decent run in. I know they rub too, but they rub less painfully than the new ones. I'm hoping that once I get the new ones worn in they won't be as bad, but that will take time and I need to stretch my legs!

The old trainers worked a treat, 7.5km this morning, and they didn't rub as much, maybe because I'd had a couple of days without wearing them to let the blisters they caused before heal a bit. Back to the new trainers tomorrow to try to wear them in a bit on a non running day.

Nothing today or yesterday. I'm feeling a bit fed up with my diet, which is colouring my view of exercise as well, so I decided to make a few changes today and am gearing myself up to get back in the saddle tomorrow.

Walked for 40 minutes in the blazing heat yesterday and cleaned the house top to bottom today, which took me about 4 hours. I even scrubbed the floors by hand!

Good morning gym session - ran 5k, did a weights session and a decent stint on the exercise ball, then finished off with a 15 minute swim. I might go for a walk this afternoon or I might just sit in the garden reading Harry Potter...

Just about to drag myself away from my Harry Potter to go for a bike ride. I inspired myself earlier by watching the Tour de France...
