Thanks will add just 1 tblsp.

Don't know if it helps, but when i am having a hungry day i always try to drink more to fill me up :) I usually have a big cuppa with skimmed milk, or if I am being extra healthy green tea with cranberry, works for a bit :)

Have fun ironing :) xxx

have to admit ive 3 cups of tea already today! i drink tonnes of water anyway so it doesnt really help with the hunger, and i hate green tea, just made my kids cheese muffins for dinner and i was so tempted to take a bite out of it lol! gonna do my ironing then have a fat free yogurt with grapes mixed in, think that will do the trick! enjoy ur tea tonight and let me know how it went down with your OH x

:) Well done on the water, I certainly need to drink more, bought some limes, so I can add some flavour the other day. I don't like normal green tea, I have to have something with it hence the cranberry. Stay away from the cheese muffins :)

Going to cook the cottage pie tomorrow as round future MIL tonight, but yep, will let you know.

I like the total fat free yog yummy. xxx

That's funny because the recipe made me so hungry for Moroccan Chicken that I swapped and we had that tonight instead, SO good! I put it over cauli-mash and couscous. Even funnier? I had Chinese yesterday :) Great job on 6 straight weeks, fun meals are definitely needed every now and then!

mummyof3 03-28-2011 04:39 AM

MissJessica - did u enjoy the cauli mash then? it makes me think im having "real" mash so im always really full afterwards! and well its the morning after the night before and as well as having the chinese takeaway, i do confess, i also had 2 walnut whips and 8 sticks of mathcmakers OOPPSSS lol! back on it today though, but after last night im only expecting, if im lucky, to lose a pound :o

tonight I'm having left over chili in an omlette, we'll see how it tastes! SO hungry, but gotta get my exercise in before dinner, better do it soon then!

MusicalJess 03-28-2011 06:01 AM

That sounds so nice. I'm really jealous of your chilli omelette!

Raspberry74 03-28-2011 07:47 AM

Jacket potato with prawn coleslaw ... i love it :)

MusicalJess 03-28-2011 07:56 AM

Ooooo prawn coleslaw. Not tried that combo, but sounds nice.

Its such a nice day I just thought I'd walk down to the shop and get some cauliflower. Gonna have to try that cauli-mash tonight.

Raspberry74 03-28-2011 07:59 AM

I was just thinking ... Do mums who cook a family meal everyday tend to fall off the wagon more than mums with older children who cater for themselves? I'm pondering because i was just thinking how good it is to not have to do theirs too ( mine are 15 and 18 ) :)

takingcontrol 03-28-2011 08:14 AM

Well, the chili omelette was a success! Just wish I'd toasted a slice of wholemeal to have it on, as always, a meal minus carbs leaves me feeling like I could eat more an hour later. Ahhhhh well, lots of water for me this evening, and an early night. I do not need more food!

Wow Raspberry74 I've not had prawn coleslaw in years, brought back memories!

N seriously, I can't wait until I'm back in the UK and can try this now famous cauli mash!!!!!

Raspberry74 03-28-2011 08:26 AM

I get mine in a tub from Asda, it's the best i have tasted so far :)

Missjessica 03-28-2011 08:36 AM

I really do like cauli-mash :) I usually buy the frozen cauliflower, because it's fast and cheap and you end up boiling it to mush anyway. I also really like it boiled and chopped in mock potato salad. Mix with chopped hard boiled eggs (I bin most of the yolks), celery, onions, carrots, peppers, a little light mayo and a lot of mustard. YUM.

Raspberry - I would never have guessed you could have children that age! :)

Tonights tea is leftover Moroccan Chicken (always better the next day, I think) and a cup of double black chai tea I've been saving (3 bags left from a brand I can't buy over here). Usually I drink tea black, but with half a spoon of sugar and a splash of milk, this stuff makes the best desert :)
