I'm having a weird week, it was my cousins birthday yesterday and I was surrounded by cakes and cookies... I had a cookie but I accounted for it, I'm actually scared to get weighed in on Thursday hmmm, I think because I went off plan, I just want to see results straight away lol. Fingers crossed!!!

I'm totally not going to reach my target. With hindsight it was way too much to aim for, especially with all the socialising and not exercising due to studying for these exams... Do people ever change their targets halfway through, or do I just plough on? I don't really have as much motivation knowing that it's practically unattainable!
beescwee.. ive been thinking that too.. is it to late to change my goal of 234 to 239...lol seeing as i have to still lose the weight i kept after thanksgiving..lol but hey i say lets do it shoot for the 5 pound loss but pray for the ten lol,,,

This thread is just the amount of weight that we want to lose in one month. Once a week everyone posts how well they've done that week. Each month we start a new thread with new mini goals. Do you want to decide on a goal for between now and the 31st December and I'll post it up?

Just as a ps to all also, was talking to a friend about this the other day...
Given how hard the christmas season is for all, with drinking and parties etc, in order to avoid disappointment really we should probably all be aiming on 31st december to be the weight we are now.
Not defeatist, but this allows for the loss of a few pounds over next week or 2 and the gain of a few after.
best not to set oneself up to be unhappy with self I say!
Ellie, that sounds like an extremely good plan. As I said to Tiara, I will be extremely happy if I stay the same weight as I am now. I'm going to cut my goal in half as suggested and not get all stressed out and worried. I'm at my time of the month when I retain everything possible as well, which isn't making things pleasant - I feel SO bloated and puffy!
Much happier now though!
