  • I'm not doing that well this week. I'm still 13 st 13 (same as last week though I didn't expect to lose the 1lb I did lats week), haven't manage to drink as much water as I need to this week, my parents have stocked up on goodies for the Christmas and are virtually force feedign them to us. I dont' think I've overdone it on food but this month is a lot harder than I was expecting. Ellie I think you are right - maintaining will be good. I still want to be as near to 13 st 7 as possible by the end of the year though. Let's see if I drink lots of water the next few days if I can get the scales to move

  • i agree with ELLIE R... we should weight in on dec 31st i believe we all will need thoes extra days to get back down i know i will.... lol
    im doing really good today im down to 243... 2 more pounds and i'll be at my lowest.. again..

  • thanks soul survior..... i find when i stick to my diet for a week its always easy to resist temptation and im gonna need it my week is gonna put me to the test starting with sun i have a banquet then monday my job xmas party..
    i need to be strong .. i really want my 234 goal present .. which is a crown pendent... i have it but im not allowing myself to wear it untill i reach my goal...

    hey soul survior congrats on losing too... we are that much closer to being slender in december...lol

  • Tiara, I know exactly how u feel about being tested... I'm meant to be going out for dinner on Sunday , monday and Tuesday but I don't think I'll be able to!! It's overload lol !!
    I bought myself some stuff from marc jacobs today, and I'm not gonna let myself wear the Wellington boots until I get to around at 210

  • hi everyone, i weighed in today with a 2 pound loss, so 7 pounds now altogether.

    been calorie counting, but find it quite hard to count cals with evening meal as i cook all from scratch, anyone know a good recipe calculator or something?

  • I went down 1lb today so weight in today (as weight has been up and down a lot this week, will weigh in while it's lower ) Now 194lb. Don't think much of this 1lb a week business but considering half the rubbish I ate this week I can't complain.

    I really could do with a 2lb loss next week as the week after is school holidays and less time to exercise. It's the church Christmas dinner next week though and my husband is sulking he can't go so we'll be going out for another meal that week. Hopefully I can balance out the calories and exericse plenty and still lose 2lb.

    You're all doing a LOT better than me! I put on a couple of pounds (eek!) and have just managed to get them back off. I'm going to be really really good this coming week and aim for a decent loss. I really think it will make me be better over christmas if I lose a bit to motivate me just before it.

    Tiara, I forgot that you were thinking about changing your goal? I moved mine from 203 to 208 - do you want me to change yours too? You've done really well this week by the way - well done!

    do you use fitday? its pretty good for calculating, and you can save stuff, so if you tend to make the same thing repeatedly, you can re-use the custom foods created
  • beescwee... yes i would like to cut it in half so 239... but if i hit that and i still have days left im gonna shoot for 234...sorry im so confusing lol but thats what im gonna try and do...
