Went to a new doc today, I am beginning to feel like a hypocondriact (sp.?) This is still about my shoulder injury from May. No bone damage so now I have to have a MRI. So no trampolining for me as I'm not allowed to jar anything. Have been swimming in the sea every thursday afternoon after work though, does that count as some excersise?

Swimming in the sea is great fun - especialyl if you are somewhere hot and sunny like the Aegean.

Foot definately on the mend - will soon be able to start some light walks

Hi all, glad to hear my swimming in the sea is good The beach is about a 45 minute drive away from here for me, and it's a nice sandy beach and actually private belonging to the military so it's free too. All other NJ beaches cost you to go on them, some up to six bucks a person!
The water here is quite nice and clear anad a bluey green colour, not like the lovely deep blue of the med but nice enough, it certainly isn't brown and murky like the wash which is where I used to swim growing up
I am going to a friends house tomorrow and she has a nice deep diving pool so maybe I'll do some laps there, and a belly flop or two At least I know that swimming can't hurt the shoulder...I have an appointment now for a MRI this Friday, not looking forward to it as those machines remind me of cofins all closed in, and I'm not ready for one of those yet thanks, too much good living to do!
Right, I had better think about getting something out the freezer for dinner..have a great evening everyone.
Oh yes, Carol, for your geography, I am about an hours drive south of New York City if that helps you at all. My geography is bad too.....I have no sense of direction or counrty placements

Hi all

Well I for one have definitely been missing from this thread and the boards in general.

However enough is enough - the mirrors in every changing room along Oxford Street provided the evidence in all its multi coloured glory and I am not a happy bunny. I need to do something about it and NOW!

I recently joined Holmes Place and have been going fairly regularly. I do a couple of aqua classes and a week and the gym about 2 times - like Veggie though I have done two days exercise in a row - I was outside the gym at 06:55 yesterday and today

Is it thirty days before something becomes a habit? No reason for the smilie - just liked the look of it

My walking has gone by the by at the moment. Ray is working 12 hours, 7 days a week for the next 3 weeks. He's not in until after 9 at night so I guess it' sback to those exercise videos

I managed ten mins on the trampoline this morning. Think I over-did it with the Tae-Bo yesterday, back aching this morn so I stuck to jumping, but something is better than nothing right?
