I have a loss of 1 and 3/4 lb to report this week, yahoo.

Veggie i have lost almost 50lb too, maybe it is because we feel so much better already, it would be easy to settle for less than our best but we are not going to do that are we????

We are going all the way!!

I have lost, lost, I say not gained 1.1/2lbs.

Don't know how I did this as the best I had hoped for was to maintain.

1.1/2lb closer to losing that stone before 31st May

Sooooooooooooo happy!!!!!

Jan

Well done also TQ, what a great feeling!!!

Off for a drink to celebrate LOL

Well done all, we all seem to be doing great this week I have lost a whole half a pound...hehe, I was quite shocked at this cos I felt sure that those four choc chip cookies would show. My friend says I've actually lost more than half a pound cos I gained three last wek but WW showed the loss on their scales
Right, must go and have a cuppa and eat something too, I'm low on points today and I don't want another gain next week.
Keep on doing what you're doing girls, you are all great and have been such an inspiration to me so far...we can do it!!!

WELL DONE, TQ, JAN AND CHRIS - WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS!!!!!!

WHAT A LOVELY UPBEAT FEEL THIS THREAD'S GOT TO IT TODAY!!! YAY!!!

Kim - what did you say to your daughter to get her to do exactly what you asked her to do??? She must REALLY be on your side in all this. Is she going to let you weigh yourself on Monday and then take the scales away from you again? Good for her!!

Veggie - 50lbs is a huge amount of weight to lose and you should be incredibly proud that you have achieved that - just go in to your local supermarket and pile up that amount of lard/butter in to a pyramid and you will actually SEE exactly what you have lost... then make a second pile of the amount of weight you what you want to lose and take a good hard look at it (you get some funny glances and people tell their children to stay away from you, but I promise it works on a psychological level). I can't use any solid fats in cooking or margarine or butter on my bread nowadays because of doing this... gross! Anyway.... this is a FRESH start - not a continuation of your last diet.... so you need to lose a NEW 50lbs!!!

Chris - I'm confused - I've got you down for a 3lb gain last week and your last post told us you have lost a half pound this week - but should that be a 3.5lb loss, if what your friend said is right??

sarah she is probably the one person in this house that is 150% with me on this, i just told her to go hide them and bring them out on the monday morning, i think she feels important because she is helping in this way, but shes still daughter right now although i think i should leave the scales hiding until end of april as ive not had a good week at all but i am adamant to change it today put it this way I HAVE TO CHANGE IT TODAY, if i want a loss i have to work for it, not eat what i want and expect scales to show nice loss

Hi Sarah, yes you are absolutely correct, I have lost the three pounds gain from last week so it is a three and a half pound loss altogether but on my WW bit of paper it onlly say half a pound cos she didn't know I gained three last week...cos I didn't go and weigh in.....hehe

But its not just this week its been about 5 weeks! & the last 2 weeks I even went to the gym 3 times for nearly 2 hours! Ive been to the gyn once this week and Im gonna go again on Saturday, plus I went to a party on Monday and was dancing all night and I walk to college quite often which takes 45mins!

Its sooooooo unfair, especially when at college there are girls in my class who have perfect figures and are stuffing their faces with chocolate, crisps, sweets and fizzy drinks all day and dont seem to put on a pound!GGRRRRRR!

Now Ive found out that on the 1st of May we are going to Butlins for the day and lots of the girls want to go swimming! What am I gonna do! Actually theres another girl who is v. paranoid about her figure in my class, she's not overweight at all, but she probably wont wanna go swimming either so I'll be ok!

I just wanna get down to 11 stone something SOON!!!

Well said Kim - spot on! ChiChi - you've said all those things before and we have all taken time to help you but you haven't really taken any notice. Kim is right - its boring but true - if you want to lose it you have to be very strict with yourself - don't eat ANYTHING until you have worked out the exact calories in it. If you want to lose this weight you CAN do this - but it is up to you - no one else can do this for you.

THREE AND A HALF POUNDS - WELL DONE, CHRIS!!!!!!!
