I weighed in this morning and i have gained 3.5lb which, if i am truthful, is what i expected. I am getting straight back on track now that easter is behind us and aim to loose that gain by next week.

I didn't lose a lot of weight (none if I'm honest) in March, so if I want to met my personal goal of being down 2.5 stones by the end of June I've got to get my skates on and get on with it.

My goal is still very achiveable, all I need to do is lose 7lbs in April, May and June - easy on paper (screen). I need to keep reminding myself how much I want this and I will do it.

At the moment I am aiming to maintain for the next week or so until I get back from Northumberland - sun holiday time - seems ages ago we were all talking about them. And then work my butt of to be down to 15 stone or less by the end of April - how many weeks is that away

Oh no it's only 4 weighins away but I can do it - 8 / 7 = 1 & a bit lbs every week.

Ladies I need you to kick my butt everytime I think about giving up or stepping off plan for a wee while - I've been very good at that in March.

With your help I will make it

15st 0lbs by April 30 or you can send the boys round (only handsome ones please)

I have just come back from weighing in and I have gained another 1.1/2lbs BUT I did have my meal before I went which I don't usually do. I also had a very large glass of water so that also will account for it. I will admit though that I haven't dieted for a month but I haven't pigged out either.

I will again put on next week as I don't get back from Dublin until Tuesday night and weigh in night is obviously Wednesday but I am hopeful of that stone by Spring Bank Holiday.

I have been looking at the booklet I had last year from Rosemary C when I did really well. I am going to start obeying the 4% fat rule again when get back. Last time I lost 4" from my hips.

So many Ladies there tonight had stuffed and stuffed with the chocolate.... so I think we are all in the same boat.

Would some one just like to send the boys round - the uglier the better - maybe that might help me get my butt in gear. What is wrong with me - do I not want to lose this weight enough? Last year it took me forever and a day to lose a stone yet I stuck with it - this year I have no idea what is going on.

WELL DONE, CHRIS!!!!!

Carol, BPH ..... here's a link to the Reasons for Dieting thread...

Reasons for Dieting

you two gave some REALLY good reasons for wanting to shift the lard and I am sure you can think of even more by now. Sometimes, though, it helps to re-read your reasons and even maybe print them out and stick them on the fridge or somewhere you can see them all the time. I did that a week or so ago for mine and it helps a little in those 'munchie' moments. Sometimes though, boring as it is, I think dieting is more a question of a change of routine than anything else. {{{BIG HUGS}}} to both of you, keep trying...

Jan - I bet you won't eat a large meal just before getting weighed again!! Have a good holiday - nobody deserves it more than you right now!

Listen..... if I find some boys that are available for 'sending round' - good looking or otherwise - I promise I'll let you know.... but if they ARE good looking, I'll invite 'em round here first!!!!!

Come on people.... we aren't heading for our first group gain this week, are we??

Default Weigh in report

Hi everyone

well done britinNJ and Flumper on your good losses this week.

Carol your right, your goal is achieveable, just keep your mind focussed on how good you will feel when you do achieve it and how you will feel if you don't...now we won't send the boys round if you don't reach it...but there are a couple of nice specimens at my gym that I could maybe send your way if you do...if that doesn't keep you on the straight and narrow I don't know what will

Another good week for me again this week, I have only been to the gym once because I have been doing my gardening all week and on wednesday I pulled my shoulder muscle for the past couple of days I haven't been able to mve my neck and arms properly, I was really worried it would have affected my weigh in but it hasn't and I lost another 3lbs again so I am really pleased. that now means I am 15 stone exactly. I can't wait for next weeks weigh in now, it is always such a big thrill to get into the next stone down and you can bet your life I will be working extra hard next week to make sure I have another good loss and get into the 14'stone bracket. I honestly can't remember the last time I weighed anything like that

well not far to go now Kim for you to be under 12 stone, just stay focused
I don't ever remember weighing under 12 stone for the simple reason that when I was growing up we never had scales in the house and the first time I can really remember getting on any was when I was 15 and I weighed 15 stone 5lbs, the weight has gone up and up ever since with just the occasional drop when I went on yet another of my dieting attempts, but never dropped by very much before it all piled back on and then some

Not this time though...its coming off and staying off...I never ever want to go back to how I was before
