I gained a pound and a half this week, so have now only lost a pound and a half in total (hope that makes sense). I am so annoyed as I thought I had done okay and might lose a pound or two.

How much does TOM affect weight loss/gain? Mine was a few days late this time and started just after WW. Then again, I'm probably just making excuses for being a big fat failure.

Pheobe, You're not a big fat failure. That dreadful TOM does weird things to all of us. Personally I hold on to water, so everything I drink just sloshes aroind inside of me. Just keep working at it & all your good work will pay off in the long run.

I wish I could be as 'fat' as you

Carol

Phoebe, you are NOT a big fat failure; if you were thinking of failing then you wouldn't be posting here, would you??

Pick yourself up; last week was just that, LAST week - let's do it !!

Hi everyone

well I lost 2lbs this weeks, TOM is still paying its visit so I was really pleased with that.

Phoebe, Janey and carol are right...You are not a big fat failure. TOM does have a big affect on your weight. I know some weeks I can gain up to 5lbs, so any losses I have at this time are a great bonus for me.
I know how you feel though when you have worked so hard and you haven't lost as much as you think you should, it's very disappointing, but hang in there, just keep telling yourself it's just water retention, and not fat.
So you are making excuses, well unfortunately TOM is a valid excuse in my opinion and it is one we have no control over whatsoever, we all just have to learn to deal with the disappointments it brings us, but try not to focus on it, and look ahead to the next weeks weigh in instead.

Hang in there Phoebe, it will all be worth it in the end.

Welcome Tupperware queen .
Congratulations on your weightloss and good luck for all the losses still to come

Hi!

Sorry I scabbed out last week. Mother-in-law diagnosed with that awful disease Dudley Moore has got - freaked by it.

Still, managed to lose 3lbs over last 2 weeks. I have picked up a few aerobics classes (to teach) so I should be feeling MUCH better next week.

Starting weight - 15st
Current weight - 14st 9lbs
Target weight - 11st
Loss this week - 1lb
Total loss so far - 5lbs
Remainder to be lost - 3st 9lbs

Hello Everyone

We have done REALLY well as a group this week:

Me: - 2lbs
Delaney: - 4lbs
Carol: - 6lbs
Vivienne: - same
Ali: - 1lb (last week)
Ali: - 2lbs (this week)
Topmonkey: - 1lb
Jane: - 1.5lbs
Phoebe: +1.5lbs
Stef: -3lbs
Tupperware Queen: -2lbs

Which gives a total loss of..... 21lbs

Last week our total amount to lose was 47st 13lbs
and this week it has gone down to 46st 6lbs which is excellent.

Welcome to our thread, Tupperware Queen - I need to add your target weight loss in to our grand total - so how much weight do you hope to lose starting from when you posted your 2lbs loss?

Well done to everyone!! Carol - if you manage another week like last week I'll........ throw a tantrum!!!!

----------------------------------------------

We have got a new total because Tupperware Queen has set herself a target to lose of 6st and half a pound. We are behind you every calorie of the way TQ!

So.... our new grand total to lose is 52st 6.5lbs!!!!!!!

WE CAN DO IT!!!!!
