Default weight control

Hi All,

I too have put weight on over Christmas and indeed need to lose a large ammount, not making excuses!!!! but, I have a serious Thyroid problem and am disabled so cannot get about too well. I do try to excercise when I can but winter time is not a good time for me. So if I say that I will try my damnest to get down one dress size I will be over the moon. L have even given my chocolates and Christmas Log away hows that for trying.!!!!! This is one serious chocoholic too.
love to all keep it up we will get there.

Hi

I agree with you Jano I too have been to all clubs - I'm planning on weighing myself every Tuesday and telling you guys, I'm sure that will keep me motivated. Plus I'm going to be saving something like £4.00 per week

Hi everyone

well I was just sitting here reading all the posts on this thread and you all sound so miserable and unhappy that you didnt all do too well last year and over the christmas period.

WELL STOP IT!!!!....ok so you had a bad year, and christmas wasn't that kind to your weight....but just think about it this way...last year you were all just practicing...you made all your mistakes and now you have all perfected the art of losing weight...this year its time to stop the practice and take the test.
Come on girls I know you can all do it...keep your chins up and lets do this together

Welcome BFB, Jano and Janey - and hi to everyone else.

Janey, I hope you don't mind but I am doing whole pounds so you have miraculously lost half a pound overnight and are down to 3st 5lbs.

So.... at the last total we were at 39st 12lbs, but we have to add on the following :

BFB - 4st 11lbs
Jano - 1st 0lbs
Janey - 3st 5lbs

Which gives us a new total of 49stones!

DH reminded me that I am in hospital for (hopefully) a day next Monday - so I will do the maths on Tuesday.

Ok Ali no more moaning just lots of happy smiley faces as the weight goes down

We want to lose 49 stones - that is a lot of weigth. Almost 5 'average' size people. If 'average' be 10 stone ??

I've had all the bunff from ww as well, and too am really fed up with the whole slimming class ideal. We can do this on own, if we all help.

Angry Weigh in report

Hi everyone

That's what I like to see, lots of smiling faces
you are right we can all do this , we don't need any classes, we have all the support and encouragement we need right here and the best part of it all is ITS FREE !!!!

well after such another good week I was looking forward to my weigh in, that was until I remebered my period was due, I kind of juSt kept hoping the bloated feeling and the aches would saty away until after my weigh in...No such luck...I got up this morning feeling like the back end of a bus

But it wasn't so bad, I still managed to lose another pound, I should be pleased with that, I suppose I am really, but just a little disappointed that it is TOM this week, I think probably because I had such a good loss over christmas and I didn't find that too difficult, but over the new year I really had to try hard to resist things, so to me it seemed as though I worked harder over new year than I did over christmas and TOM has ruined it for me.
Oh well no point grumbling about it...thats life, at least its a loss and another step in the right direction Thats one more weigh in closer to goal

Hope everyone else is having a good day

Ali

wasn't sure if we were supposed to put the original start weight down; if so, mine was 15 stone 10 (I'll forget the half) pounds; managed to get to 12 stone 10; lost 3 stone but put 9lbs on over xmas so now @ 13 stone 5.

Does that make sense?

Having probs staying on plan today; think I've eaten a whole bag of satsumas in an effort to stave off a pig-out

Default Week One for me

Hurray. I am minus 2lbs.

I am shocked as I haven't really done much this week. I guess that stopping eating the Christmas food has been responsible.
Next week I shall expect better things.

This week's promise to self: Start the swimming sessions on Monday morning.

Starting weight - 15st
Current weight - 14st 12lbs
Target weight - 11st
Loss this week - 2lbs
Total loss so far - 2lbs
Remainder to be lost - 3st 12lbs

I only really seriously started today since I work at a school and it it easier for me once back there... please wait another week for me. I usually weight in on a Tuesday am. I am exercising though.

Hope that is OK
