Default Easter Chicks Weigh In Thread - End of Week 5

Hello one and all

How did we all do? Is it POSSIBLE to diet when the weather is soooooo cold???

I managed to GAIN a pound this week. Its my own fault - can't blame anyone else but me. I've had a very emotional rollercoaster ride type week and I turned to food for comfort so a gain wasn't unexpected - I've got my that I'll do better next week.

Hope everyone else did better than me!

I am not sure where I am on this Easter challenge but I don't think I started in the first week so won't be weighing again this week.

I am off to Malta for nearly two weeks on Monday so will not really be THAT good.

Sara Ann - soup is good in cold weather. As long as you don't go for an extra cream one. I tend to get hungry at 4pm so had some Miso soup and I have the cuppa soups here as well. I tend to 'water' them down a bit cos I am worried about the extra salt but they do take the edge off my appetite.

hi, ive lost about 2lbs down to 201.something. my scales did show 199 at the weekend, but i guess it serves me right for weighing too often. either that or im bloated - havent seen my period yet, but im guessing its cos im losing weight.
im also finding it hard in this cold weather plus ive got a cold. im eating too many carbs (bread, bread and more bread - at least its w/grain). made myself some soup yesterday - loads of veg, a few spuds and some chicken stock. tasted delicious yesterday, even my daughter had a mug cos the veggies had been cunningly blended in. unfortunately ive still got half a pan left which doesnt look so appetising this morning. mad

Hello everone

Well today wasn't as bad I'm back down to nine stone 10lbs and a quarter,
I had gone up to nine stone 12lbs. Yesterday at work was my first day in ages in ignoring biscuits and cakes and it was fine. I've come this far and want to go the last bit. It's down to me.

I lost half a pound, so that puts me squarely at 12stone 6lbs. I've been 12 stone 6 for 3 days in a row which is bizzare since normally I go up and down with the see-saw scales, but I seem to be holding steady I'm going to continue zig-zagging calories since I seem to be "on it" at the moment, although today at home might be a challenge! I've just been to Waitrose and stocked up on good healthy food, but I've got a nice wholemeal scone and a rocky road choccy bar but I think today is a 2000kcal day! Unfortunately kickboxing is cancelled, so I won't get the BURN, but I might do some weights on my own.

Stayed the same...162.

Ok with me since TOM is here today and I had my mid-weed trip to the bar. One day I'll get out of the 160's. How long have I been saying that!!!!!

I was chatting with a girl at work yesterday about weight she is in great shape, not tiny scary thin, but really fit and a nice figure. Anyway I told her I want to lose 20 more lbs and she said "but your so petite". I can never believe that word would be used to describe me.....petite or a runner, or any words like that!!

OK off to work, kids were a nightmare yesterday, hope for better attitudes today. Vacation the week after next thank the Lord.

Lol! Lord knows RSG I should not pick anyone up on their typo's - my posts are awash with them -but this amused me - assuming it is a typo - you were talking about a mid-weed trip to the bar. Have you really been on the 'waccy baccy??'

I lost 2.25 lbs this week - I was able to excercise again which was great after having to stop due to having a cold for 3 weeks.

Also went to the doctor yesterday for her to start prescribing me with blood pressure tablets - however it's gone down so much since my reading last week I've earned myself a month's reprieve! This coincides with me cutting out all salty and processed food starting last week - it amazes me how much it's not just the number of calories that affect your health but also how those calories are made up.

Sorry to go on - I'm so excited as it's my lowest blood pressure reading for 2 years!

154 this morning. Probably up since last time I reported but I've been ill, missed a couple of runs, and ate a bit more chocolate than normal. Plus yesterday was like an attack of the munchies all day long. Maybe I'll get back on track this weekend, but probably not because my parents are coming over tonight and staying til Monday.

209 this morning, which was nice to see im finally under 15stone HORAY. havent been a 14stoner for about 2-3 years maybe??
I was a bit disheartened looking at current pics yesterday and noticing i dont look a lot different.I feel different and my jeans show im different. But i wish i looked as thin as i feel LOL.
only 13lbs to go for me to reach my goal, but im thinking about extendig it, gonna see how i feel at my goal. Also finally starting swimming this week, so hoping it will help me loose some of the last 13lbs, and maybe a few more. I know my bmi is about 12 stone, but i need to still be me, and always being a big girl i know if i got too 12 stone, ok id look amazing, but i wouldent be me.....is that a weird thing to say?
anyway well done losers, and hang in there non losers. This cold weather makes me wanna hibernate in bed eveyday at the mo.... x

I'm not weighing today couldn't be bothered going to Boots. Obviously if I'd thought I'd lost I would of gone.

My home scales show me as 2 stone lighter than I am so they're no help.
