Just quickly stopping to say good morning.I had a .25 loss last night.I don't know why it wasn't a little bigger. Will have to sit back and see what I can change to make it better. And that is what we all have to do from time to time.If what we are doing is not working then we need to do something different. Not give up .
Sherri Hang in there. You will be ok.Today is a new day.
All any of us can do is just our best each day. Some days will be good and some days yucky, yucky, stinky, stinky and just plain ole bad.Just know on those bad days that you have plenty of company.
I'm late for work.Gotta run.
JoanneD-Hi big sister
Congrats Eleni on the loss! You are doing great again. Are you still exercising? Maybe you need to increase your exercise again. I am not sure what you have been doing though Congrats Thanks for the cute cards! They have really helped me. I am going to get something in the mail soon
Sherri Sherri! Well, for one I am so glad you have decided not to have the fish. Just remember what I said about one meal being worth THREE DAYS OF FAT!!!! You know I am here for you. You helped me so much and I want to do the same for you. Let me know how things go today. Please stay on plan. Not for me, but for yourself!!!! I AM HERE FOR YOU! And we are going to do this together!
Ok me! I gained 1.25. So I am busting my butt all this week and having a loss!!!!!! NO MATTER WHAT! I have stayed on plan pretty good and now I know I can do this again! So here goes!!!!!!!
I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY! WE ARE ALL WINNERS!
Not much to say, I got one fruit in yesterday, I also got all of everything else. So still the fruit. I will work on this one day at a time. I've been feeling great the last few days, except around high noon, when the dog and the boy are going at it. It's raining again here, lost power breifly last night. Forcast says rain the next 3 days also, what's with week-end rain.
Well I'm off to eat, and exercise, and go shopping.
Take care all and hang in there.
Penny- I know you can do this. We all can do this. Hang in there, be patient, you will make it. (I know at a later date I'm going to be eating these words, easier said than done, I know).
Sherri, I came up with a new sheet. I'll e-mail ya it. It's almost like the food mover thing. It's worth 1400 and all you gotta do it cross off what you have. I have also been weighing and measuring, just writting down, can take time. I try not to have anything else till everything is marked off, but that doesn't always work.
I know I got along way to go, but making better choices, smaller pieces is helping alot. I'm trying to stay alert and focused on how much I'm putting in (so I don't eat the whole cake) just a small piece and I mean small, and I'm happy. I have a wedding, and going to my folks on Sunday, and next week it jammed packed. Please keep me in mind especially on Wed, when I return to the doctor, and go into work with the restrictions he is going to give me. It will work out, I know it will.
Christian, Amy, Eleni, and all others. Please hang in there, have a great day on plan, and remember.
"CAN WE DO THIS, YES WE CAN"
Eleni- Yes I am a lurker! I think .25 is bettet than a gain. You are doing good for yoursel as well as giving help tp others Keep it up. Bye Little Sister. Joanne
What a mess I made of that one....Joanne
I am Eleni's sister and have been struggling with a weight problem all my adult life. Someday we will all be winners...Joanne
I just wanted to stop in for a quick "hello". I am really doing my best to stay focused. I have walked 3 out of the last 4 days, and I am making better food choices too. It is so hard, but when you see the results it is so rewarding!
About a small lose-it seems we do everything right and lose a tiny bit. Keep at it though because sometimes it takes a week or more to catch up to you. In the past I have had .25 and .50 losses and them "boom" I see a nice 2 pound loss. So don't get discouraged and hang in there.
Hello all . I love coming to this board and listen to all our various stories. It is hard to keep this eating right up day after day but we are so encouraging to each other. It helps. The last few days have been okay and I have prety much stuck to programme and am drinking more water. The doctor changed my blood pressure pills but I still don't feel too swift yet but I am cutting way back on salt and drinking more water. I bought something called no salt and will try and use that . Does anyone else use that? If it's not salt does it cause water retention? It tastes saltier than salt so you don't need very much of it. I don't use a lot of salt but I do like in on my eggs , potatoes and broth soups (homemade). I went grocery shopping today and stocked up a bit on food that was good for me and we cut up and packed away all our meat into 4 oz sections so we won't be temped to overeat that now that it is bbq season. I bought Squirrly bread - do you guys have it in the states. It is only 1 point (WW) per slice and it is very tasty and lots of fibre and seeds in it.--very filling.
Anyhow I hope you all have a good weekend and lets just keep trying --- one meal at a time......donna
Hey Donna! I don't use the no salt, but I do have something ....... let me go see what it is called ....... ok I have Tony Chachere's Salt Free Creole Seasoning and Morton Lite Salt. I don't know if you have Tony's there or not, but if not let me know! I will sure send it to you. It is a great seasoning! What ingredients does the salt free say. I am really not sure but if the sodium says 0% then I would not think you would hold water! But I am guessing. I have high blood pressure problems also, so I know a bit about it. I was on the aldomet 500 mg. But since I have lost this weight, I am off the meds!
I haven't been on in a while. Just checked in tonight to see how everyone is doing. Sounds like you all are staying focused, which is what it takes.
I haven't been very focused lately, but have started this week trying to get back on track.
I weigh in on Thursday nights and would like to challenge everyone to a loss next week (6/7/01). Exercise is important, (which I have neglected for the past few months) so let's get started if you are not already doing some form of it!
