Hi Everyone! And a very happy Birthday to Sean!! My cousin went into labor last night while I was posting here....lol (never made it here i think....lol) and I have been at the hospital from 10:00 to 3:00 and came home to get some sleep. So needless to say today will be her son's birthday

I lost last night which is great!!!! I am so excited. I want to address comments to everyone but i have to jump in the tub before the kids wake up. I have to work today But I will be sneaking off to the hospital too Penny

Good Morning,

I just have a few minutes to write but wanted to pop in since I didn't post yesterday.
My program went okay, I guess. Everyone said it was okay but what can they really say. I know I could have done better but I was so nervous. I turtled but I think part of it was because of the stress....both from work and having to give the program. I know stress can affect lots of things and weight is one of them. I am not very good company right now so I am not going to post much. Work is going really bad. It is busy and I don't mind being busy but I can't stand the way some people are. We have one lady who doesn't like anything here. I have had long time problems with her. She was gone for almost 2 months on vacation and has been back for just over a week. I thought the vacation would mellow her but she is back to her old self and I was in tears yesterday at work. Not enough that anyone knew but I was ready to snap. I have to think my words through this weekend and talk to someone on Monday. I can't work like this anymore.

I can't really post much more right now but I will post on the weekend.

Eleni......I hope your daughter gets herself checked out and is okay. I am really scared of that happening to me because my mom died very suddenly from a heart attack and she had been in to her doctor 3 weeks before and had her heart checked out. Please keep us posted.

It is so exciting when a little one comes into the world. That was great that you were at the hospital with her. I bet he is adorable also.

Great job on losing the weight this week. I am going to be with you this week.

I have been doing good but only about 80% of the time. I still have days that I get off plan. But they are in the future. I have my sights set to lose 10 lbs by june 4th my daughters birthday. I will do it. I just have to get my mindset to do it. Today is uasually my day off of plan. But not today. I have a mission and I am going to make this goal. I didn't make the last one that I set for myself. I just haven't been hard enough on myself. Plus I have been so busy and like I tell everyone else I really do need to make time for me and my plan. I haven't been doing that. My plan has to come first before anything else except for my husband and daughter. But I can work around them. I have to stop making excuses. I am going to start walking more with my daughter also now that the weather is changing and it is staying lighter longer. I love this time change. But today it is supposed to rain all day. It isn't raining yet but it is cold out there. But I did do my aerobics this morning first thing. I have to get back into the routine of things for me. I know I can do this and I have all you great people out there on my side. I can't keep letting you down. I know I am not really letting you down but I am letting myself down. Because I know I can do this and I am just not doing it. But I will I started fresh today. Again!LOL I only have 8 weeks to lose the 10 lbs that I want to lose. So I have to get busy and stick with my plan.

I feel bad for the situation that you are in right now. It is always terrible to have such negative feelings about your work and the workplace. It doesn't give you any incentive to even go to work even though you know you have to. I hope that your talk with whoever goes well on monday and I will be thinking of you. I hope things get straightened out soon for your sake. Just remember there are a lot of people here that are on your side. Also I wanted to say that I am sure you did a great job. There are many people in my chapter that won't do anything let alone present a program. It was said to everyone last night that we needed a person for the sunshine fund to send out cards to everyone for birthdays and anniversaries. No one accepted. One said that if she had to do anything then she wouldn't come. That just isn't fair. The chapter is supposed to be a group that works together. Not let certain people do all the work all the time. So I took the job. Everyone said I don't have time. I said I don't have time either but I will make the time. It is all up to you. You never have time for anything. Everyone is busy but you have to make time for the things that matter to you. You are doing great with your plan. Keep up the great work.

Hey guys, it is nice to hear that everyone gets nervous.
Marie you can't believe how nervous I get for a program and I have been leader going on two years. I like to get a lot of guest speakers. The food lady at the Cooperative Extention has spoken a couple of times. The dietician at the diabetic clinic has as well. I also ask alot if anyone has anything to share. Having everyone bring in an article or recipe works.
As for sunshine people, Iused to call and write. But never received replies. Now I stay in touch with the new people for a month or so. There are also penpals from workshops. One I have had now for 3 years. The members don't seem to really care about birthdays and whatnot. Illness is ok. Iwill call. They have been pretty clear about wanting a weightloss club and not a social club. Which I think is a biggg part of TOPS. Well I hope everyone has a good week and see ya lighter.
