TOPS stands for 'Take Off Pounds Sensibly". It is a non profit weight loss support group. TOPS is a club that has chapters all over the world. It is a great organization and you can learn more about it at www.TOPS.org . Hope this helps.

I just noticed that you are from Orlando, FL. I am from Titusville, FL. There are some great chapters around Orlando. One of the chapters in Apopka has had two state queens. One for 2000 and one for 2001. Both of those ladies lost over 100 lbs. to become state queens and they are an inspiration every where they go to speak.

My MIL lived in Kissimmee for about 40 years. It sure has changed a lot since she first moved there.
If you go to www.TOPS.org , you will find a chapter locator there, click on it and put in your zip code. All the chapters in your area will be listed. You can go to the first meeting free to see what it is all about. You could visit more than one chapter to see which one you like best. Some are more active than others. Also, on the TOPS site, you can read all about TOPS. Most people think that it is like weight watchers, but it is really very different. TOPS is a non profit weight loss support group and most of the members become friends.
