Default The Weekend is on it's way

Good morning and it is a great day
congrats sherri on your great loss. What a weigh to goal girl. I know I'm gonna sound like a broken record. What did you do to achieve this? food plan, I know you said something about no bread at dinner, exercise everyday.
Exchanges, points, ects.
As for me today, last night was day 2 of staying with points. My scale is showing a loss so far.

You did lose, see I told ya so LOL
As for me I was up 1.25 last night, dont ask me how but that is what it said, I guess i didnt eat enough LOL, cause I sure didnt eat much last week I was so busy taking care of dad, I had to make myself! We had a great first night in office last night though, and my new leader sure is a breath of fresh air, and boy did we ever need it!!!! She has us comit to not eating any desserts this week unless they were low fat or sugar free, so we will see how everyone does

flatlander- glad to see your losses are still a rolling in !
wendy- You are doing awsome also, YOU GO GIRL!!!

Good Morning,

I just have a few minutes to post but wanted to say hi. I am trying out a gym for a couple of weeks. I have avoided going but a lady at work goes regularly and she got me a pass for two weeks. I will see how it goes and if it is too rushed. I will be going at lunch time.

Sherri........ congratulations on the loss....that is great. Our installations weren't very formal. Our setup doesn't really make it easy and our group doesn't really care. We did ours but it was very simple.

It is still cool here. We had a bit of snow last night but hopefully the weekend will be nice.

I guess I should get to work. Hope everyone has a great day.

I am doing the exchange plan technically. But I put in part of SB and I do count my points also. It is a little bit of everything that works.LOL I will PM you all about it.

You are right. You didn't eat enough last week. You get down to work girl. You WILL be at KOPS this month for sure. Keep up the great work.

Marie,

I hope you like the gym. I don't get to go because I can't afford it and I would have to find someone to watch my daughter or take her with me and pay for babysitting anyway. So I don't go. But I loved it when I was going before.
Glad to hear you did your installations. Hopefully this year will be great for all of our chapters. Sounds like there is a lot of positive energy out there.

As for me,

I ate last night so I am watching what I eat today. I have been dying to go to the buffet all week. But this morning I got up and decided that I didn't need to go. That I can eat my salad for dinner. That way I can stay on plan. I am eating mac and cheese for lunch but it is still much better then pigging out at the buffet. So I am proud of myself for that. I figured I won't get to goal pigging out and I don't want to gain back what I lost this week either. So I am being conservative. I only have 4 weeks before vacation and I want to be thinner for sure. I don't even know if my shorts fit me. I better try them on.LOL I hope they do because I don't have the extra money for more. I am saving all I have for the trip. I sent in my part of the payment for the condo and my husband is going to be able to go. So I am very happy about that. Things are going great here.

Sherri....GREAT LOSS!!!! You go girl. I'm so proud of you. You've worked hard and it paid off. Keep going and you will be at goal before you know it.

Summer....I used to go to a diabetes counselor and one of the things that she advised me to do to lose weight fast, was to make a big pot of veggie soup, using all free vegetables, like a can of tomatoes, chopped up pepper and onion, celery, carrots, and cabbage, and a couple bouillion cubes. I could eat all of that I wanted, but measure protein and carbs. By the time I ate a bowl of the soup, I didn't want a lot of other foods. Another thing she told me was that if I wanted to lose faster, to eat one or two healthy choice frozen dinners (300 calories or less) about 2 times a week. I lost about 60 lbs. going to her and my blood sugar dropped from 357 to normal.
Good luck this week. I'm hoping that you can keep your KOPS status.

CC.....I'm sorry that I missed your birthday. Since they post birthdays at the bottom of the page, I forget to look at them. I'm glad that you had a good day.

I had a 2.25 lb. loss today. HOORAY! I had a gain last week, and really worked this week for a loss. I'm trying to stay in the black all this month.

Have a good OP weekend. Tomorrow is hubby's birthday, so there will be cake in the house. But I'll be careful, I want to lose again next week.

hello all, Everyone seems to be in good spirits. i am not sure why I had a gain but will get it off plus next week.
My first night back as leader was interesting to say the least. We had some dissention which is something we have never had before. But there are more ways to skin a cat than one . i do have some good help which I have not had in the past.
I am glad to see the weekend get here.

As for me. Dont know what happen. I started the day out OP. But then I just blew it. I have ate so much that I actually feel miserable. I think what some of it was. I got on the scales and it was up. I had set my scales with TOPS on tues eve. then I go on the morn and said I was up. Thougth ok. I will stay on op today. But the more I thought about it. The more upset I became. Because I had been op pretty good. Shouldn't have had a gain. So here in a little bit I am going to excerise. Which I usually have done by now. But just didn't feel like it. But I am going to make my self. Haven't even drank my water. Had 2 cups of tea. What makes me mad is I wasn't even really hungry as I ate the stuff. But I thought I will get out my Inspired to lose book by TOPs and read as I pedal on the bike. Maybe that will help. Well I am sorry I vented all this to you ladies.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. Not sure what we will do. Probably not much. You ladies take care. Thanks for listening.

Default just another stop

I wasn't able to get to a lot of you ladies earlier. So I'm back
coco-you hang in there. We've all done it beat ourselves over it and started over. I heard a garth brooks song today that reminded me of all of us. It goes like this "I won't reach my desination if I never try, so I will sail my vessel till the river runs dry." In other words, this lady is in for the long haul. I know this can apply to so many things, I also like to look at it spiritually. But this morning this is where I applied it, and I thought of all of us. we can definately do this, I am totally confident that we can reach this. So you hang in there, get back in that boat, and start sailing girl.

Nita I am sooooooooo proud of you. Keep it going. You can do it.
Christian- you get back in that boat too. You are so close. You can do this I know you can.
Eleni- I know How you feel, sometimes we don't know why it happens, but break it down. Are you exercising more. I wasn't really keeping track of everything, and sometimes the little things, or most of the time, the little things add up. So I went back to see what I was doing differently, found a few, and I feel now I'm back on track. ps-I'm glad the weekend is here too.

Penny-noticed you haven't updated the travel section. I finally took some time for me. did good today. You keep up that Treadmill, and man the sights you will see.
(watch the mirror).
I can proudly add day three of staying within points range, not having a big bowl of ice cream. We are going to red lobster and shoe shopping for me and the hubby tomorrow. I am well prepared for what I want to choose from. My husband asked me today if I could have a biscut there. I replied, yes I can. They are 3.5 points and I just can't have 4 of them. So, I have the list, I just need to view it.
I will probably check in tomorrow morning (if not), tomorrow night.
You ladies all hang in there.

Coco......Remember what Mary Ann said about the scale lying to you. Mine lies all the time. I can step on it and get one reading, get off, then back on and get a different reading. I can usually tell if I'm losing or gaining on them, so I haven't thrown them out......Yet. Did you eat something that triggered your hunger today. I find that happens to me sometimes. I can eat at a restaurant and be stuffed and come home and want to eat everything that I can get my hands on. I've been trying to figure out what triggers these binges. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.
You've been doing great, so just keep up the good work and don't worry about today. Tomorrow is a new day.

Yeah for you girl! You are doing great. What a great loss. See all your hard work paid off this week. It just goes to show you that when we really put our minds to it then we can accomplish anything. We are woman of course we can.
Keep up the great work and you will have another loss this week. I am with you. I want to stay in the black all month also. It was a great start to a new month and a new year for us all with new officers.

Great attitude lady. You will succeed and you will have a great loss this week. You are putting your mind to it and you know what to do. Have a great weekend. Watch the resteraunts make wise choices. Don't beat yourself up. We all do it. STAY OFF THE SCALE WOMAN. It is VERY dangerous. When you are doing great and staying on plan it messes with your head to try and get you off plan. It works everytime. We are so wrapped up in what the scales say that we lose sight of all the hard work we are doing and we don't recognize that we are making strides in the right direction. Jump back on the band wagon and don't listen to the scale. It is only a hunk of metal it can't talk.LOL You are better then the scale. You know you are doing everything right. Are you writing down all your food.
Remember who lost over 14 lbs last month. YOU GIRL! See you are doing it. Give yourself credit where credit is do and trust yourself. You are doing it right. Keep going and don't look back. WE are here for you. Don't ever feel bad for venting here. That is what we are here for to help each other out in good time and the bad.

You go girl. I am so proud of you. You have the right mindset now and it sounds like you are off and running. That is great that you have stuck to your plan for 3 days now. YEAH!
And to have your meal picked out so you can plan it is great. Great thinking and that is what will get you to goal. You are right you can have a biscuit you just have to control how many you have. Great job I am so proud of you. Keep going girl you are on the merry go round now and it doesn't make pit stops.

I had my salad for dinner but had things I shouldn't have today. But it was my off plan day. But I didn't blow it so bad. Not like I would have if I went to the buffet. Which I didn't do. So that was a great choice. I just didn't want or need to go.
I got bummed out tonight. I tried on my shorts for my trip and they are all too tight. Can hardly zip them. I have 4 weeks to fit into them. I really have to work my butt off literally. It made me mad but it got me motivated. I was thinking how can I lose this weight fast. Then I said hello you just lost 5 lbs in one week. If that is not fast then I don't know what is. So I am going to stick to my plan and have only 1 carb maybe 2 a day for the week. I am sticking to as low of carbs as I can this week and the following weeks. I know that is what is making the weight drop off.
I exercised for 1 hour this morning. I will keep that up all week. I have to get thinner inch wise girls. SO help me out. Don't let me quit.
I am back to the plan tomorrow. I will do great this week. I went today and bought everything for my salads this week. It is not cheap to eat salad every night especially with the price of lettuce. But it is worth it to me because the weight is coming off.

Have a great weekend everyone. I don't have anything planned.
Lets make it through the weekend on plan and have a loss this week like we have been doing. We are all doing great and the enthusiam on this board is awesome.

Sorry to hear you had your first gain. But that doesn't mean you won't get to kops. Just jump back on plan and you will start losing again. You are so close. How many lbs away from goal are you now. Don't give up you are so close and you will get KOPS status soon.

I will be there with you this year but not until the end of the year. I have too much to lose to get there in a couple of months.

Sherri, I have NO intention of quitting, nor do I particularly feel bad having a gain, just wish I could have had my 40 weeks (sigh)!

But we can't have everything, I need to work out and I need my sinuses to clear up in order to work out, but I am eating sensibly and other wise doing fine.
I bought my outfit for PRD so I want to stay around the 160 mark until after the big do, 'cause I spent a small fortune on it and I feel realy good in it.

And I KNOW you will get your KOPS status this year, 'cause this is our year of the KOPS! Whoo HOO!!
