Easter's 4 weigh-ins away for me, I lost another 2.2 lbs. yesterday, bring me up to 8 lbs. in 3 wks., so realistically, 5 lbs. in 4 weigh-ins could be done, if I pumped up the treadmill....

Put me down for 5 lbs. by Easter.

Wink new tops leader

Hi, I am not sure whether I am doing this correctly, as I am new to this. I am a tops member and have just been elected leader of my group here in North Carolina. I would like to communicate with other experienced leaders for some suggestions, guidelines, etc, but also for help and encouragement of my own weight loss efforts. I would appreciate hearing from others in my situation. I am 63 years old, and have arthritis, which makes exercising difficult.

Hi Mouch,

Welcome to the boards. You will find a great group of ladies here that will give you lots of encouragement. If you post under the daily thread more people will realize that you are new and respond to your post more quickly. I understand what you are saying about exercise and arthritis. Its very hard to exercise when your joints ache so bad. I'm told however that water exercises is good for people with arthritis.

Congratulations on being elected leader of your chapter.

Post often, we all enjoy hearing from each other.
