Default Easter Challenge

It is a little over 6 weeks til Easter. My goal is to lose 6 pounds.

Feb 21 + 1.25 Not a good start. Oh well
Feb 28 +1 Next week should be better
Mar 7 -2.25# Now I am back at 0
Mar 14 + 1.50 I need to work harder
Mar 21 - 3# I think this puts me -1.50# Just so I finish with a loss
March 28- 4.75 Which brings me to a total of -6.25 # So I did do it

These small goals are ok

OK, sign me up coach!

I will try for 5 lbs, I really want 16 because that would put me at goal but that is just not realistic.

My weigh ins are Tues. I told my boss how important they are to me and while I can't attend all the meetings anymore she will move heaven and earth to get me to weigh ins. What a sweetie pie, eh? (I may talk her into joining yet!) So stick to it girls, we can do this!

Feb 19 -1.75 165.00
Feb 26 -3.00 162.00
Mar 5 -2.00 160.00
Mar 12 Working
Mar 19 Working
March 26 -1.0

Well I made 7.75, I think I may have a Cadbury Easter Creme egg to celebrate! Not really. Well maybe..............LOL

I'm In!!! Thanks for starting this for us!

I didn't meet my Valentine's Day Challenge, but I did lose so that's a positive start!

I will work on another 6#'s.

February 21 -1#

February 28 -1 1/2# Yea!

March 7 -.75

March 14 - did not weigh in

March 21 -2 1/2#

March 28

Me too, me too!!! I won't be back to my meetings until March so I will start reporting then. No since reporting what my scale says since it really isn't relevant....the TOPS one is the one that counts.

March 6 - +1.5 ....but I am extremely happy considering I was gone 8 weeks!
13 - gone
20 - gone
27 - + 4 .....YIKES!! Ended up in the red. Bring on the next one!

Hey Ladies,

I am in this time also. But this time I am putting down a different goal for me.

My goal is to have a loss every week of some kind. That way I don't get discouraged when I don't make the challange because I didn't lose what I wanted to.

So that is it for me to lose for 6 weeks in a row or at least have a turtle. That would be okay. But NO GAINS.

Starting weight for week of Feb 14th is 179 3/4 lbs

Feb 21 Great start to the new challange. Lost 1 3/4 lbs = 178 lbs

Feb 28 - Gained 6 lbs (my big date did me in. I will have a loss next week for sure and the weeks after that. )

Mar 7 - Lost 6 1/2 lbs tonight Yeah for me. I am now at 177 1/2.

Mar 14 - Gained 1/4 lb. I am now at 177 3/4 lbs. But I am still down for the month. I will have a loss next week.

Mar 21 - Gained 2 1/4 lbs ( I know I should have eaten then I would have lost. I am back to eating sensible this week) I am now 180 lbs Not Good

March 28 - Gained 2 lbs

I did not make my goal this time either. It is very frustrating but not for lack of trying. I am now at 182 lbs so I come in with a gain for the 6 weeks. I hope this turns around fast. I am NOT giving up I will make kops this year somehow.

I will join in this challenge too........even though I didn't make the last one. I am going to try for 5 pounds but, like Sherri, will be happy with a loss each week.



February 20 Not off to a good start. I turtled today.

February 27 Worse today than last week....up 2 pounds

March 6 Down 1.5 this week.

March 13 Down .75 pounds this week. Net loss of .25 pounds

March 20 I was down 2 pounds today. I am headed in the right direction

March 27I turtled this week.

Starting weight 204

Feb 18th -2.5 (way to go me)
Feb 25 I turtled this week
March4th i'm down -2. way to be a loser
March11th +1 pound this week. I'm sure it will come off next week, I'm a little poofy
March18thdown -1. what I gained last week.
March25thok so my tons of water didn't pay off on weigh in day +1 pound
I'm not aiming for a certain amount of weight loss, just any type of weight loss each week, will work for me.
as a result -3.5 pounds for the month of March.

Goals are a great thing!

My weighins are Tuesdays, and my goal is to be a KOPS (again) by Easter. The last time I was at goal was May, 1999 when I quit TOPS for 1 1/2 years due to work stress. When I rejoined a year ago, I was 16 1/2 pounds over goal (what that shows me is the value of continuing with TOPS even after reaching goal) and I have lost 12 1/2 of those during the past year.

To reach my Easter goal means a loss of 4 pounds over 6 weeks.

Feb 19 Gain of 1 (medical excuse!)
Feb 26 Down 1/4 (feeling better)
Mar 5 gain of 1 1/4 (not getting anywhere!!)
Mar 12 Down 1 pound (even though I wore jeans, so could have been more) That leaves me 4 1/4 from goal weight.
Mar 19 I will be away on vacation so no weigh-in.
March 26 Stayed the same (okay with me after 2 weeks vacation!)

We can do this!

starting weight 151 and 1/4

Feb 21 st- - 1 1/4 = 150

Feb 28th- turtle = 150

March7th- + 2 1/4 But will do better I am motivated guys!!!!

March 14th- - 2 1/4 150 again LOL so net loss of 1 1/4 so far

March 21st- turtle 150

March 28th- another turtle 150, so I came out 1 1/4 pounds lighter for the month I will take that!!!!

Bring to top. Wish there was a way to keep it at the top.
Just wanted to tell anyone that is new to computers the way to update your weights. Just open thread as you would nornally to read it. Then go down to where yours is and look at top of your message and there will be an obtion that says edit. If you hit that you can bring yours up and add to it . Hope this helps someone

Thanks Eleni for posting about how to post for the challenges. I wasn't sure how to do this.
I think I will try this challenge. I don't know how well I will do though. I guess my challenge is just to lose something between now and Easter. I will figure up my dates of weigh ins and post them later. A TOPS PAL

Feb. 20: 222 on home scale

Feb. 27: 218 on home scale, 224 3/4 on TOPS scale! (Bye bye home scale!) A loss of 4 lbs though :

March 6: Gained 2 1/4 and was elected Leader for the new year. Gotta take the good with the bad....
