That is a total of 10, 542 cals divided by 7 = 1506 average Wow! I have been doing really good! I lost 2 pounds from that sunday til that saturday and today i am down another .50 a pound. Oh and I was trying to be good the day after the pizza but I was not planning on keeping my cals that low for so many days, but ya know what? I was not that hungry! The beans really fill ya up! All those days I was not hungry once! I had to remind myself to eat! I tried to make sure I got a good balance of nutrients plus my vitamin. My walking average has even gone down this month and yet I am down two pounds in a week for the first time since october! Oct I lost 2 to 2.25 a week consistently and then november I did even better eating wise, less fat and walked my butt off! I ended up at like a 90 minute average vs. oct with the 57 average and I only lost like 1.5 a week! I looked over my fitday in oct esp. towards the beg. where I lost 5 pounds in two weeks and one thing I noticed was the fat grams where way up there!
I have been doing some reading. It just seems like your body needs the fats including sat fats to absorb nutrients and to lose weight! I do try to keep a good balance with the "good fats" nuts avocado olive oil etc. NO TRANS FATS THOUGH!!! I have completely washed my hands of those. Did you all know sat fat and cholesterol is in breast milk?
Anyways. It just seems that there is high fat in things for a reason. I am just going to try to watch my fat levels and not get too crazy with it and we'll see how I do.
Just popping in! Had a busy weekend and need to rest. Saturday was my splurge dinner night and I had some of the best chicken enchiladas I have every had in my life! They were so good! For feeling a little bit guilty I went to work out on Sunday morning, it felt good!
At my house it is very rare that we actually eat beef. If we do it is for an occasional steak and to treat the DH. DH actually hunts every winter and brings home one or two deer. This is plenty of meat for us and we even share with my brother. Some people don't like the taste of venison, but I have to agree with DH is how it is killed and how the meat is treated before it is processed. We only add about 5% fat to ground meat and then leave the rest in steaks and roasts. Also DH goes on one fishing trip a year with his Dad either off the coast. The comes back with so much fish that we have enough to last us for at least nine months. DH and I compromise he gets to have fun doing what he likes, but in the process he brings home food that we know is natural. Just my thoughts!
Yeah just checked my walking average and its only 46.7 so far. I like to keep a 60 minute a day average at least so I better get moving! But the point I was getting to is that having an 87 minute walking average in November vs. I think 67 in October did NOT help me lose more, I lost less! So that is why my goal this month is a 60 minute average with adding in more pilaties and 9 minute abs!
Hi Dolly! I like what yoou had to say especially about the deer. I can't wait til we move back to Mt. and dh gets to go hunting! WHat do you mean you leave the rest in steaks and roast? I know my dh told me when they chop it up or grind it deer is so lean they do add fat to it. WHat about the fish though? From what I hear most fish everywhere are contaminated now! Because of the coal factories I believe. I wonder if there is a way to check.
Wow you guys take my breath away! So much info ans so many posts to catch up on.
I havent posted since last week sometime I have just been sick. My kids are better Thank God! but myself is another story. It all started on monday, I was so run down It was awful, Tuesday was a little better, but not much, wed and thurs sore throat, Friday I developed some intestinal bug I couldn't get out of bed except to run to the bathroom. DH came home to take care of the kids and to let me sleep, which was big help, that evening I was able to eat and even had to venture to the store for dog food and diapers. Sat and Sun, I was rundown, with a runny nose and TODAY someone turned on the faucet to my nose during the night and I cant shut it off!!! I have had such a tough time with my food choices this month and I haven't gotten the amount of exercise that I want, But I am still determined to reach my 1500 min goal.
K. Enough whining. You guys are so awsome!! I can't do personals because my brain isn't functioning but: congrats to those who lost!! Good luck on Finals Melissa. UMMM sorry guys MY brian is on drugs!! Have a good healthy day!
Just like you would have a roast from beef I cook venison the same way in a crock-pot on low for about 8-10 hours so it is very tender. With steaks we usually sautee it in a pan or make kaboobs. We are in Texas and DH usually fishes in Matagorda, San Antonio, Copano, or Corpus Christi Bay. He is very aware of were to and not to fish. He stays away from the Houston area and more east towards Lousiana. Texas Parks and Wildlife does a fabulous job of keeping there website up for information about fish contamination. They also have a wonderful restocking and catch regulation program in place for both fresh and saltwater. The fish in my avatar are some of the one we caught last fall. The biggest on caught was 28", the largest you can keep. That one fish will feed 8 people easy.
There is a place for you gals to post recipes now in Healthy Chicks Recipes Thread. I started with two recipes so I hope to see at least one favorite low cal recipe from everyone here or more, because I am hungry and need more variety

I hope ya feel better soon! You need to kick it into gear. I am eating pretty good and not much at all and feel great! I keep going over my fit day again and again making sure I put everything in right. Try more beans!
I need to kick it up with my walking too. I have gotten lax and seem to be losing more. Don't ask!

That sounds great Dolly! What do you add to season the roast in the crock pot? That is a cute pic! I didn't know it was yours. Well I looked up fishing in Mt and it looks as if we may be safe at some places with the rainbow trout. Hopefully that is near where we will be moving to. If not, we will move closer. haha Dh and I were chatting at lunch, we already have one deep freezer and when we move there and send him hunting between that and the fish we will need two! I can't wait! After the holidays is when we are going to go talk to the judge and ask permission to move. I can't wait! I think hun e b lives up there, I should ask her about the fishing too.

Thanx for starting it! I will post some in there soon!
Hello! Okay crazy Michigan weather. We got several inches of snow last week and now it won't stop raining and it just all about melted!!
Okay so yesterday I made lots of chocolate chip cookies, snowballs, oatmeal raising (dh's favorites) and butter cookies. I won't share the recipes cause there is nothing fat free about these thing. I need to make a couple of more sets and some candy so I took Wednesday off of work to cook and clean.
I had to make a formal complaint to my credit card company about the charges on my visa. It will take about a month for it to be fixed.
Still have this cold or something so my calories have been low (about 1000 for four days).
loveandlaugh - thanks for the new thread
jcatron -I hope you feel better soon
