Well so much for trying to get something done. I got as far as getting everything set out on the table and ready to start. Sorry, but these stupid allergies have gotten the best of me and I spent most of the weekend in bed. Today isn't any better but I am tired of laying around. So...

Question for TIFFANY...not thinking, you said you are doing 8x8 pages, now do you want an 8x8 page from us or is the 12x12 fine? Just thought I would ask in case your album only holds 8x8.

Hello all,

I am sorry if my post sounded curt. It's so hard to show voice inflection when typing the message out. I guess that's why I like to use the phone so much....lol

Any size pages that are sent to me are fine with me. I just wanted to let everyone know that I wouldn't be able to send differnt sizes out. Thank you all for being so understanding.

I have decided NOT to reproduce the page that I made before. I got a nice layout idea after doing it so I am going to work on it. My pages will be a little later than I thought they would be. But I hope that they will be worth the weight...lol

On another note, I MUST be doing something right. Tonight, I woke up choking on a foul stench and smoke. Apparently, when we went to bed we didn't turn off the pot of navy beans I was cooking. They are now a pot of charcoal pellets and I am only hoping I can save the pot. I had a bad dream that someone was having a BBQ outside my window and the smoke was coming in making it nearly impossible to breath. I snapped out of my dream when I hit the floor (in my dream) I jumped up and went around poking and shaking my hubby and kids. I made everyone leave the house and opened the windows. My husband wouldn't go. I guess he thought sleep was more important than dying. I was scared that he would suffocate that I kept coming back up stairs and poking him and saying, "are you still alive"
We are all now back in the house. It stinks and the living room and kitchen are still hard to breath in, not because of the smoke but because of the smell. I have closed off that area of the house and left all windows open.
I say I'm doing something right because when someone is working for God and doing the right things they are attacked and harrassed by Satan. I recently increased my commitment to God and have been sharing things with others (I DO mean sharing, not cramming it down their throats like some people do. Anyway, I also found out that the roof in my house in NC has caved in and no one mowed the lawn. We had someone "taking care" of the house but they decided they didn't want to. Now I have to get everything fixed. Who knows how much. If you pray please pray for our finances toward the repairs and sell of this house. Thank you in advance.

I am very hopeful and optomistic. I know that it is really and turly not in my control so I must yield to God on this.

So, I hope that all of you are doing well. I'm sorry I can't do individuals right now but I must go back to sleep, it's almost 0300.

Hugs to you all....YES even the ones who don't like to be touched....lol I think cyber touching is allowed right...ahahahah

Oh my goodness Tiffany! I am glad everyone is fine and got out of the house...well, except your hubby, silly man. I've burned beans before and man...what a smell. Made me think of a time while living in CA and I was thrown out of bed by an earthquake...tried to get everyone out of bed but DD would not get up...I literally dragged her out of bed by her feet. She then went into the living room and went to sleep under the coffee table, lol! After so many quakes though we usually just went back to bed unless the roof was falling in. Although, some of the aftershocks were a little scary and almost as big as the initial quake. Anyway...glad nothing burned down and hubby wasn't hurt. And yes, I will pray for your finaces to fix the house and get it sold.

Tiffany - yikes, so glad all is well!

Now that I've finished the 2nd jigsaw puzzle, and there's room on the table, maybe I can actually concentrate on the scrapbook pages again.

Can you each tell me what size page you're sending for sure? I want to shop for an album just for the JL pages, and think a 12x12 would be best, just in case. Especially if this turns out to be an on-going project for the JLs.

bumping this up.... how's everyone coming along with your pages? I'll have mine ready this week, and can hardly wait to exchange them with you.

My ideas and thoughts are still in my head. I'm going to see if my sister can help me out by taking some photos since all mine are in the old computer!!

I'm going to try and get them done by the end of this month.

How many do I need?? I have three addresses...so that means I need four if I include myself right?

Thumbs up

MARTI...should be five including yourself. One for Norma, Me, Jane and Tiffany, and you of course.

JANE...I actually have some done on my pages and although I thought I would be finished this week, it looks like it may be next week. It will be soon though. We got busy doing other stuff and that suffered so...we don't have plans this weekend and that is when I plan on finishing them for sure!

So are we mailing them out at the same time or just mailing them when we are done? What is every planning on doing?

I can't wait to see everyone's pages! And to put them in my scrapbook.

Well, I couldn't decide on colors. I finally decided to wear clothing with a better for color choices. So, now I'm really getting to making them. I'm very sorry I have been pretty busy. Sorry it's taking so long.

Hi All, I gather from all the conversations that we are going to mail our pages at approximately the same time. Does anyone have any input as to a date to shoot for? How about Halloween? That gives everyone time to get their pages done. I have to mail Tiffany's earlier since overseas mail goes slower than a snails pace. Any input?

Norma...I think Halloween sounds like a good date to shoot for...good for me anyway.

Tiffany...you don't have to apologize for being busy...we all get busy at times. I thought I would have mine done a while back but it seems something always comes up.

I will be working on mine this weekend, well, Saturday. Planned on Sunday also but V will be home and he works so much we try some time together when he is home.

I haven't worried about getting mine done yet, either, since I knew some of the JLs needed extra time. But my stuff is ready for assembly. My pages are basically about my family, since that IS my life, lol. And they are fairly plain, too. I won't have any problem getting them done by Halloween. That's almost 4 weeks away.

How much earlier should we mail Tiffany's?

I hope we can do this annually, and have even more go in on it next year.

Jane, I think if we mail Tiffanys about a week before the others, she should have it about the same time. I'm mailing a card tomorrow and I'll have Tiffany let me know when it arrives to test exactly how long it takes.

Are we really trying to mail them at the same time???? I'm not sure if I'll get it out the same time. Still working on getting the darn photos.

As long as you get them I suppose right?

Marti - if you want, you could make one page, then make color copies of it. None of us would mind if you did that. Also, keeping it to one page each would make it so much easier for you to do. We don't care if you use photos you already have, ok? I used ones we took when we saw the Tempations in June, and some from earlier this year of my kids. Whatever you have will be fine, ok? Keep in mind there's still 3 weeks to go.
