BACK ANI

Glad to hear move is going ok. And u lost weight. maybe i need to move house lol. NOT (packing up 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 loungerooms + office, kitchen and laundry is not my idea of fun) (oh and the other halfs shed)

Gen bravo on yr weight loss. Barb? u weigh in on wednesdays don't you?

barb don't despair. U and Lindor can hold up the wagon to jump back on.

Well I have decided to go back to counting calories. I even worked out on calorie king how many calories my home made spaghetti bolognaise is. Suprisingly its only 1400 for 6 serves. So in all I think its a pretty low cal meal at 233 a serve. Don't ask me what grams I have no idea lol. I will weigh it in total when I eat tonight.

Ani I feel for u being on phone to telstra forever. I would've broken phone more.

Hey is anyone in here from Melbourne? I'm taking kids to St Kilda for 4 days and Luna Park later in the year. Has anyone been?

cheers

I'm originally from Bayside Melbourne, my folks are still there. St Kilda is very trendy these days!

Ani, I plan to join you on 85kg by the end of May. I have a little bit further to go, but I do love competition and challenge! Race you!

Hope its OK if I join here!

I'm 23, heavy as **** and really need to do something. I'm doing Sureslim (and am currently going through withdrawels for my Pepsi Max! TWO DAYS!) and I'm actully going to follow it this time. If I don't lose weight I'll never have kids, I won't love myself enough to attrack someone, plus I just want to look hot. I'm SO sick of the phrase "you'd be so pretty" I AM pretty damn it!

Thats 2 Holidays now to save for. Melbourne and New Zealand. Gosh I better stop shopping. lol.

Anyhow, I'm off to bed. I have been and posted on this darn thread 5 times today. Sheesh. Must love u all lol.

Renny Sue - welcome . I joined in here about six or seven months ago and the women made me feel really at home. I'm sure I've brought the tone of Aussie Chicks down a level or two but it takes all kinds.

The women who post in here are wise, funny, inspiring and really supportive. They know lots of stuff, and will support you through your journey.

Gen I'm not sure whether to accept your challenge to a race to 85kg or not. No doubt you'll beat me, because you're a lot more determined and focussed than I am. Oh bugger it… you're on !

Lindor are you around? Or are you busy catching up on the 500 thousand squats and stepups that got missed last week?

Vonni I love reading your posts. I wouldn't care if you posted in here 20 times a day, I always have a giggle or learn something - or am constantly amazed by how much you fit into your life.

I've had a shocker of a day. I refuse to confess what I've eaten, or to tell you that I did ZERO exercise. But let's just say I have a lot of work to do tomorrow to get back on track. Maybe it's the move or the struggle to find my routine, but I feel a long way away from where I was a week ago - and I really need to do something to change that. Or I'll go backwards.

Blurk!

I'm also in a mood with the Purple Team. We had our Week Four weigh-in tonight, and one woman has managed to lose 0.1kg in FOUR weeks! Hmmm…

I'm here

Trying to keep a grip on things

Lots happening at work this week, so probably extra hours on the cards. Nothing major maybe an hour each afternoon and shortened lunch breaks...all for my benefit though.

And I am tired. Didn't sleep too well last night, kept thinking of snakes!!! Hope this doesn't happen for too long!! Argh!!

All said though, today has been good. Ate well and did my step-ups. A little shy with the water though - 1.5L.

Now I am sitting here wondering what I am going to write in the morning!!

Renny Sue, welcome!! I'm not going to repeat what Ani and Vonni have already said (all true of course!)...too many nice things about us will only give us all big heads!!

Good luck with the new lifestyle changes you are going to face. And take it from someone who used to drink at least 6 cans of diet coke a day - you can live with out them!!

The best thing I have found about this group...I cannot lie to them! I can't say I had a good day when I didn't. I can't say I lost half a kilo when I really gained it. They keep me honest.

Alright, I am going to try to sleep!

SNAKES? SNAKES? Have u been watching scary movies? Or did I miss something in an earlier post? Lindor it was 12am when u posted.... no wonder yr tired lmao.

Oh, and diet drinks? blerk!! I have never been able to stomach them. Can't handle the aftertaste. So I just go without. I have a normal softdrink occassionally (bout half a can once a week). I have found that once u stop cold turkey with sweet drinks and it's been a while u really can't go back to it without feeling yuk. Speaking of aftertaste. Thats why I refuse to use sweetner in coffee. It's still 2 sugars or I don't have a cuppa at all.

Ani if it's any consolation I fell y/day too. And exercise? whats that? I've walked once in 4 weeks. Or does shopping and working on my feet count?

Today so far I have had a hot cross bun and coffee. I feel a bit yuk today so I know to be on watch for pick eating. Hmmm and if this wind dies down I may just go for a stroll this arvo.

Gotta go

It was actually 10pm my time when I posted Vonni

And yeah, I guess you missed the post back there where I briefly mentioned the snake in my bedroom!

I was the same with my diet coke Vonni, I went cold turkey, and now if I open one I struggle to drink the full can. But I also managed to cut the sugar out of my coffee...and I don't use sweetners either!

Well, have a good day all!

I gotta get to work!

Hi Renny Sue!!!! I am a thorn in this bunch of roses for sure! But don't mind me! looking forward to hearing about your efforts.

Ladies, did we all catch some horrible internet virus that causes us to jump off the wagon? Me too. :O

Again, the old 'invited to a friends house, had to eat what they ate' thing. I have never eaten pizza so often! Just as soon as I decide that I'm on a diet, and I'm watching how I eat, everybody wants to give me PIZZA!!!!!!

Ok, so nothing else is really happening. I am totally bogged down this week with AIESEC again. I keep telling myself that being this busy is good, and that it will all pay off. IT BETTER. For example, on Friday, my schedule is:
9-10 Lecture
10-12 Tutorial
12-12.30 My Break for the whole day
12.30-2 Indiviual Interview Person A
2-2.30 Individual Interview Person B
2.30-3 Individual Interview Person C
3-4 Tutorial
4-6 Lecture
6-6.30 Travel to gym
6.30-7.30 Balance class (im gonna need it)
Home.

*screams* I cant keep this up. Especially as this kind of schedule leaves zero time to study.

But - chin up. I'll get through. I'm not sure how, just yet, but I will.

Lindor - I don't blame you about not sleeping well. I don't think I would either!

Ani!!!!! Woo! Glad to hear you are in one piece. I dare you to race Gen!

Vonni - fake sugar was never for me either.

See you all soon.

If I found a snake in my bedroom I would move out - how on earth did you cope with that? What kind of snake was it?

My body is feeling really tired after the move - I slept 10 hours last night, which is unheard of for me, and I really feel like doing nothing today. But I really need to find a stupidmarket, and have to keep unpacking my office.

And as much as I don't feel like it I really must go for a walk. Just down the road here (about a 10 minute walk) is the Swan River, and the views back to the city are stunning. There are a few walk trails along the river, one of which I found the other day… so I must go and find another one this morning.

Even though I feel like I'm in a bit of a slump with my weight loss, I can't afford to let that become an excuse. It's a danger place for me; and a very timely reminder that I haven't fully learned new lifestyle habits.

Kylie, you're right. It sounds like most of us have caught this bug! Now we have to figure out a way to work through it I reckon.

I have got to stop posting negative stuff on here.

Welcome to you Renny Sue. I agree with everyting said about the ladies on here. All the support you need is right here. And Lindor is so right about being honest about everything too! I can't lie about how I'm doing either!

Yesterday was a good day for me. Ate well and exercised. I think I might need to count calories too. At least that way I'll have some sort of idea how much food is enough.

I don't like diet drinks either. I only really drink water, coffee and tea, no sugar added! Occasionally I'll have a glass of diet cordial, but not often though. A few years back I never had water at all unless it was in my coffee!, but now I can't seem to go without it.

Default I need to vent

OK this is bull#*@! I feel crap, totally physically and mentally exhausted. I must need sleep. Everything seems to be making me cry. In watched news this morn and cried.

My daughter forgot lunch so I rugged up and was all ready to walk to the school to hand it over but then a friend rang wanted me to take her to town. So there went the 20 minute walk and I got in the car instead.

I've eaten nothing but crap today. So far today I've had a hot cross bun, coffee, got some asian in the shops and it tasted like oil so only had a bit of chinese omlette out of a whole container, it was all so disgusting. I was feeling low energy so I had a caramello koala then came home and had a frozen yoghurt. Now I feel blerk.

Bubs in bed and I want to have a sleep but DH due home in an hour then kids an hour after that then I have to get tea organised. I don't even FEEL like cooking and usually I love cooking.

I was all systems go for a walk this arvo but if this lethargy keeps hanging I'm sure that will blow out the window too.

Ok, enough venting. I'm going back to couch.

Ok. Thats IT. I don't know what has happened here, but we are all wallowing in misery, and I don't like it one bit!

It seems I am having a crappy week, Ani is stuffed after moving, poor Vonni sounds like she's had enough...and Lindor is probably having nightmares about snakes!

Have a look at us all. I think it is time for a change of focus. Ok, lets accept, (for the moment) that we all feel crap. There are 20 million obstacles in our way at the moment. But guess what? We aren't going to let that stop us from achieving what we want.

So let's buckle up, have a drink of water, and hold on tight, because this Wagon is express. No stops, no falling off.

Chins Up girls - don't you know there's a war on?

*hugs to everyone*

I've had a reasonbly good day. I did have two cans of diet drink, but I still drank 2L of water. My big fall was when I got home. I grabbed a six inch sub on the way to the gym (was starving) and than found a steaksoftball at home, which I ate (not spoke to eat steak yet on SureSlim) Oops! I did do half an hour of cardio and a pilates class, so let's hope that balanced it out!
