First of all, Hurray Curly!!!!
:cp: :cp: :hat: :cp: :cp: :hat: Nice to get another under your (shrinking) belt!!! Christmas was very busy and there was much feasting and drinking! I have gained weight, but I will wait, as Fish is doing, to be sure it's just not bloat/ salt and all that stuff. But I have a hunch that ticker will be moving the wrong way. Actually, there's no place to move it to, I'll have to change the whole thing. I'd like to declare another weight loss goal: 8 pounds by the Super Bowl, which is on Feb 5th this year. I've set these goals so often with out success, but I'm determined to make it work!!!! Carla, I don't know when I'll be able to do a fruit fast. I won't be able to after New Years because I'm going to visit my in-laws that week. And I thought I'd be able to tomorrow and the next day, but we'll probably be joining my husband on his trip on Thursday. I'll still try tomorrow, and maybe on the day we drive down to LA I can fruit fast too. I'm trying to figure out a good time to start a new challenge. I think I will start a no beer one soon, and another exercise one too... My mind is really having trouble focusing on anything past the next few hours.....today wasn't really a great day. Oh well... Cebta, I can't go to IKEA without spending money!!!!! Actually, I think I did once because the line was so long and I had to be somewhere at a certain time...I just dumped my stuff and left. They are opening one in West Sacramento in the spring :carrot: Hello to everyone and congrats on all the hard work going on out there!!!I am amazed at how well some of you are doing!! I have to check out that clean eating thing too...... |
Water (3) - Day 1 (Dec. 27)
Food (3) - Day 0 (Dec. 27) Excersize (3) - Day 2 (Dec. 27) That's all I can say for myself. |
Apple, no fear. I think I'll shelve the fruit fast idea. I was going to start today, but one whey protein shake was enuf for me. Yuk! I like fruit smoothies with whey protein, but just water and powder is insipid and horrid. And I'm willing to be a little hungry, but not to eat things I don't enjoy. So instead I worked on eating up some Xmas junk leftovers, and some wine, and.... I'd say more but don't want to be charged with wanton flaunting of food porn.
No decisions yet on when or what for the next challenge. You'll all be the first to now! ttfn  |
wanton woman!!
carla!! What has happened to your recovery?!?! :nono:
|
Sorry this is so brief, but I have a raging headache right now!
No desserts/treats- Day 11 100 oz of water- Day 2 |
Sorry Red, reports of my recovery were wildly exaggerated. :o Instead it's mini-relapse time. But I'll be back on track soon - it just takes a few days to work through the incredible frustration I accumulate during visits home. Nothing to be done about it, that's just the way it is.

Day 2 of no sweets and 10 min on the stationary bike is a wrap.
Unfortunately, I had to take a pause day for the running challenge... we went to the beach today, which took all day and involved 4 hrs in the car. It was too hot to run along the beach, though I had looked forward to it. And when we got back, it was nearly dark and I was dead tired... Hopefully everything will go smoothly from now on. :) |
Day 11 done!!
Wrapping up Day 11 here for both challenges. Got the crunches in at the gym this morning after running 5K. Have been eating a lot! but today I also had my homemade veggie curry with brown rice. I feel energized! But really, must cut back on the food. I don't know why but I am overeating again...
Sushi -- Hurrah! :bravo: Too bad about the running, but you'll make it. It sounds like you really want to run and that makes it more fun! :spin: carla -- So sorry to hear that those visits home take so much out of you. I really wish I could help...well, hope you recover soon! stage -- :cp: Hope you feel better! CB -- Thanks for the clarification. What you wrote...'"that's all I can say for myself"...., sounds good enough to me. :cp: So, what kind of exercise did you do? Apple -- There you are! Well, I hope you can start a challenge soon. We'll be waiting for you! Phys -- Good to have you back. You've taken on a tough challenge! Good luck! :goodluck: Fish -- If Christmas was your only day totally off, then it sounds like you're still doing very well! You'll get the weight off in no time! :sunny: |
ty everyone.. (sighs_- if only i were shrinking) ok time to start a new challenge
1. calories under 1300 2. minimum of 15 minutes per day on the zelle |
DAY 1 - 27 December - 30 minutes intentional exercise COMPLETED with a nice Emily-induced (yes, that's me! I wanted to go!) 45 bikeride with my charming boyfriend around the park. It was gorgeous out when I was driving home from work, so the first thing out of my mouth was 'let's go for a bike ride!' His jaw about hit the floor. *smile*
