I'm here too! Don't really have any wonderful news to share with you though. I'm studying for my first 100-point exam in Small Animal Nursing, which will be on Wednesday. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to meet with my Large Animal instructor and some other people to help clean out the barn that we kept the sheep in. They've gone back to their owner now, so we've got to shovel sheep poop and get the barn back to sparkly-clean shape. It's a volunteer thing, and I actually don't mind doing it. I love the smell of a barn.

That surprise visit from "Aunt Flow" (the dreaded monthly visit that came two weeks early) seems to have been a shorter visit than usually. She graced me with her presence for about four days, then packed up and left. :-p I wonder if she'll be back again for her visit on the 19th, when she should have come. :-p

Not a whole lot going on over here though, but thought I'd pop on and say "hi". Hope you all have a great weekend!

Hugs, Deb

Well CONGRATS Kim!!! I'm still at a stand still weight wise but I'm not stressing it. It'll come off eventually.
I started working at Best Buy this past week. It's kinda neat to be back in the work force that and I get a employee discount so WOO HOO lol. The only down side is I have to be up at 5 am to make it to work by 7. UGH but i'll adjust to that too..
Well I'm gonna go rest for a bit before i need to get the kids going on their stuff. See you ladies later.

Hey chicks....

Sorry I havent been posting. My birthday was Monday and i had the flu and aunt flo showed up too. It was not good. On the upside, 2 girls at work bought me 3 cakes. And the guys that work in my office made me a huge sign. They're third country nationals who usually dont interact with the Americans much so it was really sweet that they thought of me. Im not the type of person that tells them what to do. Most of the Americans here treat them like dogs. ANYWAY, then my husband came by my office to tell me happy birthday. It turned out to not be so bad.

So, I've lost about 7lbs since starting work. I don't eat when Im bored anymore. I had a big issue with that before.

Ok, dont know where everyone is...hope everyones good though.

Love,
Deanne

Happy birthday, Deanne!! So, Aunt Flo left my house and came to visit you, huh? Sheesh, I thought she had better manners than to show up when you've got the flu. :-p I hope you feel better soon!

Well, got through one big test in Small Animal Nursing and a quiz in Large Animal Nursing. I think I did pretty darn well on both of them. I've got a quiz in Radiology tomorrow, so going to spend the night reading and studying for that. Plus, I have to catch up on my reading for Small Animal Nursing. He gave us a bunch of handouts on birthing of calves. :-p

Hope you're all having a good day! Back to studying... (groan)

Hey ladies.. sorry i've been a little post shy lately. I've just been a bit busier than i usually am. I've started working and it's going to take me a little while to get used to the time away from home. I'm finding i dont have the time to do all that i used to. Laundry is falling to the way side in a big way lol.. oh well, we'll survive.
I'm doing good weight wise. I'm up and moving way more than i used to so I'm hoping that when i weigh in on monday it will show some improvement in my scales. I cant really complain. I had to buy pants for work and I got 2 pair of 8's and one 9. This is the first time ive been in single digit size numbers in YEARS!!
Happy birthday Deanne.. I hope you are feeling better..xoxo

noooo... don't hunt me down! I'm here, I'm here! Went on a field trip to a zoo in Chicago today. The field trip was part of the vet tech club that I've joined. I'd never been to that zoo before, so it was a lot of fun.

What'd you all do this weekend?
