hi everybody... popping in for a sec.

Had my first quiz in Large Animal Nursing this morning. It was a little nerve-wracking because this is the very first quiz we've had in this class. So, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't let myself get all crazy about it though. I studied and did my best. Any how, I think I got maybe one question partly wrong. He asked for the normal temperature range of a cow, and I said "101.5-103.5" and the normal range is "101.5-102.5". I'm hoping that he at least gives me partial credit for it. But it's no big deal... the quiz was worth 20 points, I think, and if I get that one wrong, I got 17 points, which is a "B".
Went to a beef farm today, and learned how to move steers around in the feedlot. That was kind of neat but scary.
With all the supplements that my doctor has me on, I think that's what caused me to get my period two weeks early. I just had it on the 19th, and it started yesterday (the 5th), which is REALLY weird. But when I talked to the nurse, she didn't think it was much of a concern. I guess the hormone supplements I'm taking might have contributed to it coming early. Oh joy. :-p
Well, hope you're all having a good day! I'm going to jump in the shower and wash the smell of cows off of me, then do some studying. Take care!
Hugs, Deb
