Ugh. I'm barely alive. Between being achy from dragon boat practice, and exhausted from a bad alcohol-induced sleep, I'm miserable.

I'm hitting Subway for lunch, though, which should make me feel much better. I might have to splurge on a foot-long, though. MMmmm...just thinking about it makes me feel better. Going at 12:30... :hun:

OMFG....I'm waiting on Sat's bride to get here with the alcohol. She was supposed to come at 2pm then calls this morning and leaves a message that she wants to come around 12:30-1pm....WTF? Do these people think I don't eat lunch? I scheduled my day around this 2pm appt. Anyway...I called her back to say I needed to leave by 12:30. She calls from the road and says they will be here by then. It's now 12:35 and they aren't here yet. I'M HUNRGY DAMNIT! :tantrum: BTW..her wedding coordinator is a real biotch and I have a feeling we are going to go a few rounds tomorrow morning.

BROOK - it's a festival held each October on the Schuylkill river. This is the 4th year - we participated the first two years, but then last year we missed out because it sold out so quickly, as it became more popular. The website for the festival is www.philadragonboatfestivel.com, if you want to check it out. We have 20 paddlers, plus someone who sits in front and bangs a drum, and the steersperson in the back. It really is fun, although physically exhausting when you're not used to it. There are professional teams that also compete, and it's really neat to watch them do it the "right way." You guys are always welcome to stop by and check it out! It's Saturday, October 1, all day.

Ok, those people finally showed up to drop off the alcohol.....I was so mad but right before they left the bride told me I looked like I was losing weight (last time I saw her was last year when I was struggling so much). I now forgive her for being late! LMAO!
