I'm in for dinner on the 24th, I get back from PR on the 21st so I'll be nice and tan and looking gorgeous. Yeah, I'm full of myself after vacation...sooo SHUDDUP!!

Ok, here I go for the 2nd time!

Am feeling better but not 100%....slept most of yesterday when I got home--no gym. Had the chills, sneezing, the OTHER and everything else that goes with it. I HATE that feeling...would rather be throwing up. At least the headache's gone but I'm still needing to run to the bathroom a lot...I know: TMI! :s:

You guys would be proud: stood up to my boss and the peeps in my dept and I feel GREAT! S, my best friend who also works for the dept isn't too happy about it but TOO BAD! Long and short of it is she went and mentioned to her immediate boss (not my boss) that I was keeping score for the Bball games, etc. He's like: it's not her job. She told me this when a bunch of us were out and it really upset me. So I said: netiher is all the crap I help out with, so it STOPS HERE. I then aksed why in the **** she told him in the first place--she had no answer.

Well, tonite is the playground carnival and guess who's NOT going to be there? ME. That's right, ME. I emailed my boss yesterday and told him I have a late afternoon appt with a caterer and client and didn't know when I'd be done. I also told him that they never really knew where to put me anyway and I alwys got shuffled around....that I wanted to opt out with his approval. He said no problem.

So S calls after 9pm last night and finally asks me when I was coming to help. I told her I wasn't--she seemed a little put off but TOO BAD. I think she thought I would even though I said I was done with that stuff. HAH. She then says well stop by and have a brew with us afterwards....to which I said NO but thanks for the offer. Funny how she has $$$ to buy the alcohol but can't do this or that whenI ask...plus she owes me $$$....of which I'm keeping track.

For once I have stood up and even more so followed through....and I feel great. It's not in my contract that I have to help with this crap....I only need to be at the Harvest Festival b/c it's held here at my one facility. Those days are done for me...no more. IT's time for me and for me to take care of me, and that's what I'm going to do. If they don't like it, well, too bad. That's the way it's gonna be from here on out.

I know S is my best friend and all....but I wouldn't put it past her to sell me short if it meant a gain for her. I really wouldn't.

Hi Acura: we follow the Weight Watchers plan.

Can't do the 24th or at least I don't think so. That's my mom's b-day and with any luck they will be up for a visit then. I miss them terribly. If by some chance they aren't, they it's a go! I will know for sure in about a week or so.


Hey...do any of you Chickies like ice hockey? Now that there will be a season this year I would love to go to a Flyers game--have never been to one either and would like to check it out! Thought maybe it would be a fun, Chickie outting! Thoughts?
