Well, I'm here at work today. Mostly because I planned a surprise wedding shower for a friend of mine, and it's today. I couldn't very well miss it, now could I? Of course, he hasn't shown up yet, so hopefully he's not out sick today!! (Ahhh..there he is! Phew!)
I still have some discomfort. Spillie - would the fever have persisted if it was my gall bladder? I mean, I had a slight fever really for just a few hours, and have a completely normal temperature now. Obviously I'll do anything I can not to go to the doctor's. :^: It's really tender right in the middle of my abdomen. I had this once before, in Germany, and they almost took my appendix out, but then realized it was just some type of stomach virus. I've been sticking to bland foods for the most part...saltines, diet 7up or sprite, toast, pretzels. If it persists, I'll go to the doctor's. Tomorrow. Guess I have to go read the PF board and see what all this yammering is about. I didn't get pics of any bathroom either. But I did get pics of TH's daughter. Did you guys? I know she really doesn't mean anything by it if you were excluded. Anyway, got to go catch up on my e-mails and whatnot. I missed a relatively important meeting yesterday. I'm finally getting a minute to write my post! Good morning. I've been busy trying to get my Beach Vacation all set up - but unfortunately the rental office is closed on Wednesdays...grrrr! Oh well, I'll just cross my :crossed: that it's still available tomorrow!

Why doesn't she just say that she knows she is not getting it, so in order to save herself from the embarrassment of having to say she didn't get it or someone with better qualifications got it...she says she is withdrawing. Please it's all about the money. That's why she was working two jobs to go on vacation. But quit when she couldn't go to outings with the PF's. LOSER!!!! :dz:

Haven't had time to look, but you guys are too funny. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, between meetings and this d*mn surprise shower. Now I'm off to AC (woo hoo!) - just to get a Harrah's card so we might be able to get a discount on a room when we go down in a few weeks. Have to gamble a little to get credit (arm is twisted!), so hopefully something good will come out of this trip! See you girls tomorrow!

Good morning. Well, I hope it's one. Before I forget, SPILLIE won't be a work today - so please don't expect her to keep us in line today. Maybe she'll be able to check in with us if she has a free minute. :s: Can I tell you how I did NOT want to get up this morning? I mean, I don't normally want to...but today was extra hard. Dinner with SPILLIE last night was fun. We both had "the salad" and were definitely happy campers. So Monday is going to be my "New Beginning" - I've gained some weight back and I feel like crap. I'm going to the beach at the end of August and that is perfect motivation for me to get back OP. I need to get some weight off and feel better. I'm going to watch what I eat and everything this weekend, but Monday is going to be THE DAY! I gotta do this... ROCKER: I hope you had fun with your friends! Email me so we can discuss our shows! HAPPY: I hope you feel better! TWIDDLE: Slide me a $100 bill, would ya? BROOK: Hello!!!!!!! I didn't realize SPILLIE wouldn't be joining us today. Glad you two had a nice time :hun: last night! Alas, I didn't win at AC. :( I also didn't get a room discount. :mad: My buddy told me he could get a room for $189 with his Total Rewards card, but I guess he gambles a bit more than I do. So the trip was a wasted trip, but I got to gamble a little bit. Oh well. Going to the Phillies game this afternoon. There were 2 free tickets given to our team yesterday, and my buddy (for whom I threw the party yesterday) won, and agreed to take me with him. Woo hoo! :cb: We get the time off as approved absence, too, so no vacation time needed! (It's a 1:05 game.) I'll be outta here around 11:30. :cp: :dance: :woo: :dancer: Did you guys all realize that they made their plans right out in the open on the board? I'm thinking we should be going to dinner next week...you know where...you know when. Could you imagine their faces if we showed up?!?! HA!!! :rofl: Oh, I think I lost a pound at WI this morning. I'm surprised it wasn't more, given the fact that I haven't eaten much the last 3 days. Oh well...gotta keep truckin'. Still want to lose 4 pounds in the next 2 weeks. We'll see what happens. TWIDDLE: When are you going to AC? I've stayed at the Atlantic Palace Suite hotel in AC and I really liked it. It's right there on the boardwalk not far from Bally's. I'm not sure how much it is, but it's usually a bit cheaper than the casino hotels. Have you tried The Sands? Their rooms are pretty inexpensive...but I'm not sure what the rate is for the weekend. Sorry to hear you didn't win - but hey, at least you get to leave early today! Congrats on the loss. I can't wait to get back OP - I feel horrible.

Good morning Chickies! OMG...had so much fun these past couple days. It was a much needed and welcomed break! I hadn't seen these guys for almost a year...we laughed like we were kids. Their kids were good for the most part....little testy yesterday and of course I wasn't helping matters by laughing all the time at what they were doing! :lol: I hated to see them go. :(
Wednesday we did the Philly thing downtown...holy cow was it ever HOT :flame: :flame: :flame: . Went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, did the Duck tour and the Big Bus tour....of course on that the kids wanted to sit on the upper deck. What a trip that was trying to get up and down those steps! Yesterday we did the Valley Forge thing. Got sunburned on Weds. and am still feeling that. ICK! They are leaving today and are heading to Longwood Gardens before going home. Stayed OP the entire time too--very proud of that. Last night we ate at the Macaroni Grill in WG....first time I was ever there. Not very point friendly but I did what I could. Got a salad w/strawberries, chicken and ff feta. Wasn't reg. lettuce but some other stuff...felt like I was eating grass! I ate most of it only b/c I was so hungry. I did eat a small slice of pizza that one of the kids ordered--that was very good. At any rate, I journaled and counted everything and had to dip into my flex for last nights meal. Guess I'm gonna have to hop on over to the PF board sometime today to see what you all are talking about. TWIDDLE: hope you are feeling better! VIVA: I taped HK and BO but haven't watched it. Didn't know HK was 2 hours again...saw the end of the second show and I know who got kicked off. Will watch both tonite so we can discuss tomorrow. Gotta go...will check in later!
