Sorry I forgot to tell you I was sick yesterday, ;) . It started on Wednesday with a bit of an upset stomach and then well I just couldn't get up. :D DH and I had to go to the lawyers and then he had to finish getting his root canal done. Root canal took 2 1/2 hours, :mad: . Ruined the rest of the beautiful day too. Anyway, I did my affadavit (sp?) at the lawyers stating why it's a hardship for me not to have my husband with me here. It's amazing what they dig up to put in this statement. All true, but man do they have to go in my past to get the whole picture. I was a mess by the time we were done there and just wanted to go home and sleep it off. As usual DH just hugged me and helped me through it. :( CHICKIE, so good to hear that you had a good time. Doing the city touristy thingy is fun. DH, DS, and I did some yesterday, only the liberty bell though. VIVA, dinner was fun on Wednesday. Remember the little twinge I was having at the WW, well I got home and my legs were swollen to three times their normal. I also got a wicked headache. Turns out my BP went sky high. I guess the salad was too salty and sent me over. I was better by around midnight with the headache, but the swelling in my legs wouldn't go down. Doing better today. Cool, you got the place for the end of August. Was it the one you wanted or did you go with something else? TWIDDLE, how was the game? Sounds like you did ok at AC. I would love to go to the House of Blues, but my DH thinks we should be saving money...can you imagine he rather save money :dz: I don't get it. BROOK, missed you. I need to have someone to torture that can take it. These girls are wimps. HAPPY, hope your better today. We missed you at dinner, but those salads are great. We didn't drink, just ate. :) Well, I haven't read the other board yet...but I can just imagine by the comments here that the season that shall not be mention is at it again. Have WI at lunch so I'm interested to see how I did this week b/c I ate out so much. My ankles were a little swollen last night which tells me I ate too much stuff with salt in it...just hope I do ok despite that!

Have you gals noticed that whenever anyone mentions that something happen, the season that shall not be mentioned had it happen to her or she knows someone who it happened to. It's like she is making things up just to have something to say. Now her daughter used to come into their room like the other poster said about her youngest daughter. Is she ever going away?!?

TGIF! Boy, I never thought I'd get to say that this week! This is my first full week back in a little while and I don't like that one bit! Yesterday after work DBF and I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was OK. Since the original one is one of my all time favorite movies, I had a problem with this one. There were some funny parts but it was just SO different that I didn't care for it much. It was awesome on the IMAX though!
I just got my intinerary (flight arrangements, etc) for my San Fran trip. I gotta go over them to make sure everything is correct! TWIDDLE: I hope you had fun at the game - did they win? Hope you weren't too hot! ROCKER: I hope you are doing well today! Yes, I got the place at the beach that I wanted. The guy said I was very lucky because it was booked but then there was a cancellation...and that's how I got it. It's SO cheap too - it's renting now and the first few weeks of August for like $400 more than what I'm paying!! :D Hi BROOK! I missed you! Hey HAPPY. Funny this comes up b/c while my friends were here, Caroline was telling me how when she woke up the one morning her youngest was staring her right in the face...about 2 inches away! LMAO!
Her boys were good for the most part but while we were driving in the car all I heard was: MOM--he's touching me! LOL....reminds me of that commercial of the family on the beach and the brother is tormenting the sister and she says: He's touching me, he's touching me. Then he gets to about 1/4 inch away from her and says: I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you! HAH! |
I just read that OTHER thread.....man, the season which we care not to mention is really on one today. I bet she sits there with a notepad so she can respond to everything everyone says! Guess she doesn't have THAT much to get done while she's off today since she's spending so much time on the net! :devil:
