Beautiful rose, Wildire---I almost typed Wild Flower! I'd take that as a good omen at your new digs.

BFL challenge is going along smoothly--I daresay when I weigh myself I'll have lost another pound or two. I hope, I hope!

Aria, you're doing great on your Solstice Sprint!

Arabella, Don't mean to nag, but don't forget to set up your mind/body program, even if you can only do it for a couple of minutes.

Cool

Am feeling quite virtuous, having finished a bowl of fresh fruit and cuppa peppermint tea. Still no coffee...or booze. It doesn't mix with the codeine However other than 1 tylenol 3 at night I'm drug free as of yesterday. See if I can maintain that. I despise taking pills.

Am up and around more. Was pretty flat all week end though...low grade fever, am being tested for bladder infection I think. After all I have places to go, things to do!

Wildfire your roses are lovely. A nice red. I can't grow roses...have tried but I kill 'em all. So I admire other peoples' blooms. Appreciatively.

Eydie, maybe Wildflower could be her summer name? Glad your BFL is going well. I'm just aiming to walk never mind lift these days.

Empress A...yes those mistakes are trying. But you could turn that around to your co-workers trust your writing so they read for enjoyment rather than critiquing. When I worked on a publication for a club (a quarterly, complete with photos and paste-up etc...very time consuming), I didn't criticize someone elses work. I noticed mistakes but didn't point them out. And when I heard people doing it to other workers or myself, my response was "Good for you. I'm glad you found that. You can do the next issue." That put an end to it quick. I am an excellent proofer, if I must say so myself {and modest}.

Yes Aria! Kudos for your steadfastness!

Anagram

to Punkin, Ivanna, Wsw, Frogger-mommy, Kaylets (your discourses on the journey are interesting...am gonna re-read), Arabella the centered one, And all s. Where is Cerise? It has been months!!!!!

I have to get off line...my mom is gonna call.

A big for Aria on EIGHT DAYS TO GO!!!! Huzzah!

Ceara, you ARE an excellent (and nice) proofer! However, our copy editor's job is to point out mistakes and I expect her to do so ... but this wasn't her fault as she had no way of knowing that what I wrote wasn't correct!

Glad you're on the mend, but hope ya take it easy for awhile.

s, I don't feel well and did not have a good feelin' about the job yesterday. Maybe it will be better today. I don't think so, but maybe. Dunno why I feel so bad, thought it was exercising too much in the heat, but think now it may be a bug.

I like the name Wildflower!

E, thanks for the visit on my journal!!

Gotta get to store ... I have a subgoal today of NO MORE TWO PERCENT MILK ... skim only.

ceara-glad your surgery went well and that you are on the recuperation trail. hope that low grade fever is a thing of the past very quickly. please take it easy.

wildfire-your roses are beautiful.

aria-you are doing great!

amarantha-hope you feel better asap!

hi arabella, frogger, kaylets, eydie, and to all the remaining royals!

i can't even begin to catch up completely on all of your posts, but please know that i really do think of you, even when i am unable to post personal notes. i am definitely taking a fresh start card. my efforts have been anything but stellar lately on the food plan front, but today is the day! i have been keeping up with my tai chi tape and back exercises, but had let the food portions go off track big time. new day, new dawn as far as food goes. ate pretty healthfully and reasonable portions today. i am in on the end of this sprint at least. better late than never, i say! take good care, one and all!

Queenly Ones - a flyby to say I'm hoping we
've turned a corner here.

DH in hospital since last Wednesday, Intensive Care since Friday. Five litres of blood, clots, fluid removed from his abdomen Friday, two litres of fluid from his lungs today. Still intubated, heavily sedated, all sorts of evil things. But he is still with us and hopefully will improve some tomorrow.

I crashed today, hit a wall after the procedure for the lungs. Fortunately, both kids were here today. DS here since Friday, DD as can be and coming back tomorrow. Somehow after the burnout of the day, I'm feeling a bit better this evening.

Cannot answer or even read all posts at the moment but wanted to check in to remind me that life goes on.

Hello all,

Just a quick pop in to say hello and that try as I might this morning, just couldnt post...

And so interesting your post says " Today is the Day!" WSW as that is today's thought.... and the question is "What's for supper?"

And as for making up for typos, miswrites, rewrites and just generally having to admit that we were wrong.....DON'T YOU JUST HATE IT!!! Especially when its so much easier to blame someone else??? But we know we can't!
So....

Ceara- glad to hear you are on the recup trail....

Aria-- Congrats on your day count... it keeps getting higher!

Anagram-- Still holding our embrace for you.... sending a positive thoughts...
and always here for you! (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))))))) )))

Wildfire... A rose yet!

I need to call it a night.....

Take care....

ANAGRAMATIC: Thanks for the update! Have been crossin' fingers and toes for thy dh and sending what vibes I can in that direction. It's good thy children are with thee and that you are coping ok, though it's understandable you'd be hittin' walls and crashin' a bit. Wishing you the best!

s ... a flyby as I have to go buy a wedding present. Working in mountains late tonight and must get some rest!

K, after my accident, I've kind of gotten into the habit of being the one wrong all the time ... think it's time to get over that now! So the next work mistake, I plan to blame someone else (I have a candidate) ... just kiddin' ...

Aria, you are doin' great!!! Sent ya a couple o' huzzahs on your journal this a.m. as well. Keep goin' ...

Wsw!!! You are doin' great keepin' up with your tai chi and back exercises ... that's really important ... it's great to hear from ya!!! Have a good rest o' the week!!!
