Hey girls, just had dinner....a Lean Cuisine chicken w/peanut sauce (it's supposed to be Thai I guess but ), I had to add quite a bit of crushed red pepper to spice it up the way I like it. I had that along w/a Korean bean sprout salad. It's safe to say I had a good OP day. Not much in the way of exercise though. Does running around like a w/out a head count? I will weigh-in tomorrow and see what Mr. evil scale says since Monday. I think I'm gonna make one of those weight tracker deals they have onsite...but only the one that tracks pounds lost--not the one that blares your weight

Cherie, you mentioned watching that Orange Bowl game the other night. Did you see that the 72K person crowd got free Disney admission tickets for this year? That's just nuts! How lucky is that?

Well, got a few things to do, maybe visit Blockbuster again and make the most of my movie pass...have a good night all!

I know you're probably sick of hearing from me already but I was about to watch the movie King Arthur. When I turned the TV on 20/20 was on and they had a Martin Bashir report called Obesity Olympics. Did anyone catch it? It was really interesting. They took two Ohio families who were all clinically obese and had them work w/Paul and Morgan Hamm and their Olympic trainers and dietitians for 8 weeks, I think. They lost a dramatic amount of weight, some as much as 24 lbs! It was awesome. Just thought I'd mention it in case it shows again.

Good morning ladies, Happy Weekend.

Thanks for all the well-wishes for hubby. He is doing much better. Since these seizures only happen when he's sleeping, it's easier to keep an eye on him.

Noelle: We do have MLK Jr day off; looking forward to it.

I am not feeling too well so this post will be short. I went to the doctor yesterday with some intense pain in my back and something like stomach cramps. He did all sorts of tests and gave me some meds to help me sleep. (I got up at 1:30 yesterday morning and could not sleep after that because of the pain). My principal at school was the one who made me go to the doctor. Even with the meds I still have pain and did not sleep as well as I'd hoped I would. The stomach cramps were so bad that I thought I was having chest pains and that's why I went in. I may still have to go to the ER, but we'll see how today goes. Hubby doesn't work at all today so I won't have to be alone.
I'll post later and hopefully I'll be feeling better.

Cal

Good morning ladies

Cal, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Did the doc run tests yesterday? I really hope it's nothing serious. I'm so glad you have Alberto to take care of you today, you deserve to be pampered. We'll be thinking of you. Get well soon!

Everyone enjoy the weekend.

Happy Saturday Girlfriends....

Oh Cal I hope you are okay. Please take care of yourself and go back to the doctor if you need to. Were they upper back pains with stomach pains? Sounds like maybe a gallbladder attack?? I don't know, that is just me guessing from when I use to work in a clinic and having a mom that is a nurse, anyway whatever it is get well soon!!

Noelle Lean Cuisine can't fool ya thinking it is Thai, you know the real thing . I love crushed red pepper on pizza too. And NO I never get sick of hearing from you. Sometimes I think you all are sick of me . I was so excited last night to see 20/20, I caught about the first 20 minutes and then the phone rang at twenty after nine and I was like oh great, but it was my dad and he is not feeling well and lives alone and his car broke down and needed my help next week to get it from the repair shop. So by the time I got off the phone it was almost done. I was kind upset I wanted to see it. But I had to talk to my dad, oh well. No hard feelings. Noelle great job on the OP day. You are on a roll girl, keep up the good work! I am proud of you. I like the weight tracker thing too.

Well girls housework is piling up and I should put some make up on this face and do my hair! The kids and dh went to McDonalds. I said don't get me anything. I had two eggs today. Getting hungry for lunch though. Well going to go, might head to the snow hill or ice rink. Gotta take advantage of the warm weather. Its going to be upper 20's today and lower 30's tomorrow. And next Friday the hi is -1!! Yuck!!!! Hahaha....
Hi Kempy, Cherie, Angie and Summer!

WHAT??? I didn't hear that Julie. I guess I need to turn on E TV.

I didn't catch that show last night. Joe and I watched Dodgball. I didn't think it was as funny as I wanted it to be. Oh well, Now I can say that I have seen it. I did see some of the 20/20 thing on GMA yesterday. It looked pretty good.

Cal I hate to hear that you were hurting so bad. It is miserable when you can't sleep b/c of something. When do you find out the results?

I hope Angie is ok. Maybe I should call her to check in on her. I know she was not very happy the last time she posted. Maybe they are busy with the RV. I hope that is all it is.

I have been pulling down Christmas lights and now I need to straighten the house. I have been OP just like you Noelle and the mean ole' scale only has a total of 1.5lbs gone since last Monday. I am making Monday morning my weight in day and I take measuerments too. Maybe I will see some more of a change then. I am not going to stop b/c of this though. Joe and I have a healthy dinner planned for tonightt so I know I will be able to stay on track. We are going to have Korean beef skewers and loaded veggie skewers. YUMMY!!

Well, the dryer just paged me so I need to get the clothers out b4 the wrinkle. Chat later.

Sorry hit the wrong button before I was done, duh !!!!
Okay did good all day but for dinner I had fried chicken, way too many dinner rolls, and for dessert I made homemade peach crisp topped with ice cream . Like I said everytime I am a bad eater I want to report. Not asking for you all to do it. But it makes me feel responsible for my actions. Okay, thanks girls.

Cal thinking of you too. I hope you are feeling better tonight. I am glad your hus is home with you.

Hi to you too Noelle.
Okay GoodNight!!

Good morning ladies What's happening on this beautiful Sunday morning? We had a severe thunderstorm warning last night, several bouts of really heavy showers and lightning that lit up the bedroom. It's calmed down for now but our backyard looks like a mud bog. Don't know what's in store for today but will check back in later.

Julie, you can confess here. I know you felt bad about your dinner last night but, mmmm girl, that's some good sounding comfort food! Oops, I'm supposed to admonish you? Just kidding Hey, don't forget to count your exercise calories you burned--hauling laundry, mopping floors and pushing a vacuum around has got to count for exercise. Just move on and have a good OP day today. Gee, I should take my own advice !

Yo Angie! How ya doing girl? Hope you're OK. We're thinking about you...

Kempy, isn't that sad about Brad and Jen? Did you read the press release? One of the supposed issues were that he wanted to have kids and she wasn't ready...man oh man, I'd offer to have Brad's babies But seriously, besides the fact that they looked great together, they seemed genuinely 'into' each other. Marriage is hard enough w/out all that media interference.

I felt sick watching the news last night when they reported the death of 6 American soldiers in Iraq from a Lafayette, LA national guard unit. That is devastating. First I thought of you (since you're in LA) and then I thought of my good friends and famiy that are in the guard that got called up. It could have been any of them. War sucks.

Cal, hope you're doing better!!!

Hello to everyone else, gotta run and get a jump on the day.

Happy Sunday. I Guess. I got on the scale this morngin and it is back up a pound this morning. On the other hand Joe has lost about 8 lbs this week. CRAP!!! I know he is a man and they lose faster but this is terrible. I am the one that is walking the dogs and writting down eveything I eat. Why can"t I lose a pound much less 8? I just can't say it enough. CRAP, CRAP, Crap!!!!!!!!!! (end rant)

Noelle I can't belive there broke up. I don't think he is that hot but they do look cute together. There must have been something more to the story but I guess he will never really know.

Julie you just let us know whatever it is that you feel you need to share. If that is what it takes to keep you OP than by all means go for it. Your dinner did sound good though. hehe

I guess we are the only ones on the boards this weekend. I wonder where everyone is. I need to go take a shower. Joe and I cleaned out the garage today. I mean really cleaned it out. He pressure washed it and I wiped eveything down that was in there. I weeded through some things too. My garden area had gotten out of hand but know it is under control. Well, off to the showers.

Hi Girls

Thanks for letting me confess, haha

Kempy Joe lost eight pounds, WOW it is so easy for guys, they don't retain water as much as we do. I think if they eat salt they just get thirsty and pee in out! Us poor women hold on to it for a couple of days....at least I do. Our garage needs a major pressure washing too. I should have hubby do it. But I don't want it to get icy in there. Sounds like you are getting alot done this weekend Kempy.

Angie thinking of you....

Noelle sounds like a nasty storm. I love thunderstorms but hate losing the power and mud. But I love the smell of fresh rain. You can kick my butt or admonish me if you want, haha! Trying to do better today. You know you are right we should count house work and shoveling and gardening as excercise!! Good way to look at it.

Well hubby had a craving for guess what? Christmas cookies, ugh....he loves to cook which is good and bad. Dd and him are making them. She will have great memories with her dad. She is such a daddy's girl. Well getting ready to watch the Packers/Vikings game. Maybe since one week ago I shook Farve's hand I gave him some luck, lol. Go Packers!!!! Anyone want to come over and tailgate with me? Haha... Check back later girls

Guys.. I am checking in really quick.. I don't have time to go read all the posts since last week and reply, but I will try later this week. I've had a payroll emergency, and I am scrambling to make things process right this week. In a nut shell, This week, I was to process payroll out of our NEW system, so since last payroll, I've been preparing this new system to have it ready to go. Last Thursday, we found out that Ceridian sold this new software to a no name company. We have been a Ceridian customer since 1996, and wanted to stay with them, so after some long meetings and teleconferences on Friday, we have decided to stay with our current system and start all over again researching and finding a new payroll system. (UPDATED ONE). So I have been scrambling trying to get the old system ready to use again, making all the General ledger changes and department/division/etc changes that need to be made and just making sure all my ducks are in a row. I won't be back today... and probably not til the end of this week, but I just wanted to let you know I haven't gone AWOL... just in a mini/major crisis right now with my job!

I'll talk to you all soon... oh, and BTW.. after the holidays.. I am back to almost where I started. 159.00 on the scale this morning. BLECH.

:-)

Talk soon!

Cherie
