Hey all. I think I'm going to have a Lunchable for dinner tonight LOL - it's 10 points and I have plenty left for the day. Ohhhh the things I do when DH is gone I did light grocery shopping- just a few things to get me through the week while DH is out of town . . .

Ricci- you sound motivated by the new workout routine

Kristin- I hear you! If I have another I'll be much more careful of what I eat. Though not sure how I would address the non-stop starvation I felt!

Spryng- if you want to eat something that isn't core, how do you count it? Do you have a certain amount of non-core points for the day?

Crystal- hope all is well with your sister! I have a female friend named Alix (not short for anything) and I love that. Might work for a girl if you like AlEx for a boy. As for a middle name . . . maybe Leigh? LOL! Just kidding of course

Mel- oh I love the name Gabriella and also Gabriel for a boy.

Okay, Liam is acting hyper - be back later.

Sorry I didn't say HI to everyone else a while ago. Hello to Mel, Leigh, Geri, Ginny, Ricci, Angel, Cheri, Jaymi and everyone else out there.
Gonna start dinner, get laundry done and so on and so on.

Hello all!

Well, I got in a 20 min nap and then the phone rang.. i called my midwife who delivered Tanner and who inserted Mirena for me and let them know what was going on and that I wanted it out. She agreed and we set up an appointment for Sept 9th!! Now I have no idea what to use for BC after that... I don't have insurance right now (we are trying to get a good quote) so I can't afford to pay for pills or whatever out of my pocket... dh says we can just use condoms.... well, the thought of that scares me. I DO NOT want another baby right now.. not for a few years if at all... are condoms really that effective? He's only home 4 days a month so I guess they would work but every month I would be going crazy until TOM hit so I would know for sure. But this IUD has got to come out, I can't go through another cyst rupturing this month. Give me some feedback girls.... what do you all think??
I decided dinner tonight will be pan fried chicken strips (fried in ff spray) and some oven fried french fries. I don't really feel like cooking tonight so that will work fine.

Leigh, I'm so excited for you friend!!! Keep us updated!! Yes I ahve 35 weekly pts to use for things that are not core... I have 13 left for the week and they roll over friday so I need to figure out what to use them on, lol.

Crystal, so glad your computer is up and running! What was wrong with it? Lee is a common name on my side of the family... my dad, brother, all my uncles and grandfather all have the middle name Lee. And then my brother married a girl with the last name Lee! It was funny. I hope your sister is ok! Maybe it's her blood sugar.. mine would drop like crazy and I would get dizzy and lightheaded and almost pass out, especially if I took a hot shower... low blood pressure will do it too. 33 weeks? does she go early??

Mel, every kind of food is on the core list... all lean meats, fruits, veggies, ww pastas, br. rice, ff milk, ff dairy, etc. I can email you the list if you want to take a look at it. And yes it is very easy to do! No counting or having to figure out portion sizes.. just eat until satisfied.

Ok, gotta get off here. TTYL!

Wow three pages already! This is how I remember this thread! Anyway I did not end up going to the gym after all. My mom came by at our usual time and heard my voice and we both agreed it wasn't a good idea. I feel ok now though. Baby finally went down for another nap, she only napped earlier for like a half hour. Hardly enough! She has been wired today, she must be feeling better. Well my sil is going to come over to visit with her two kids so that should be fun. She has a 9 month old so he and Bayley play together, it's cute. It's kind of funny too cause before flylady I would have been scrambling around trying to get this place clean enough to have people come over and now it was basically clean with just a few things to pick up here and there! Ok one last thing from me and then I'll get personal. We got a new car in June but it didn't come with one of those automatic lock/unlock buttons cause it had been lost so we were told they would look into it but if they couldn't find one we could just go down to the mitsubishi store and get one for 50.00. So we have been putting it off since we hadn't heard from them (50.00 for a key!) but today they called my dh at work and told us to come get it free of charge! I am so excited! I can finally open my trunk without getting into my car first. It was def. a car that was made to have one since it only has one way of getting into it with a reg. key!! Ok so that is my excitement for the day, I'm sure you all wanted to hear about it, sorry I don't get out much! LOL

So Spryng I might kill you for getting me hooked on that game!! I put the baby down for a nap earlier and said ok play till 11, and when I finally called it quits I thought I had only been playing for like a half hour and it was an hour and a half!! I will def. have to look into some walkthroughs though. I found some yesterday but they weren't very good. I need some cheats, thats the only way to play! I would like a list of the core foods too! I think I may want to kick my diet up a notch. I'm getting bored with what I'm doing and it shows in my snacking habits. As far as bc I know that around here if you don't have insurance you can go to the clinic and get pills for free! My sis does it all the time. They give her like 6 months at a time. Check it out.

Michelle how is the pup? You up for a challenge after dinner? Let me know.

Kristin your dinner sounds good! Tell us how it turns out! I would love to make it but dh is allergic to shellfish, maybe imitation crab though! OH and I also thought that was a pornish name!! LOL

Leigh cute names! I love lunchables! Your like me when dh is out of town, I eat like that too!

Ricci let us know about school ASAP!! We miss you!

Crystal, that is horrible about the neighbor! Hope he gets better. How many kids does your sister have, is this her 8th? I think I recall you saying that.

Mel hope you are having a good day!!

Ok my sil just called and asked if I wanted burger king and I said no!! That side of the family is def. a bad influence, i feel strong though! Ok girls TTYL!!

Spryng, my sister usually just goes a few days early. She really thinks that they may have her due date wrong by just a little. Her centimeters are always 2 to 3 more than her weeks so that could be it.
I'm networked with my fil and his 19 month old did something to the main computer and he had to figure it out. He took half a day off work to get it fixed. I can't complain though, he lets us network with him for free because it doesn't cost him anymore to have another computer.
A friend of mind has no insurance and found a local clinic that she can get BC pills for free. Otherwise, they were gonna cost her 50 bucks a month. Her doc told her of the place. It's not in her town, it's in the biggest town around her. Maybe you could make some phone calls and find something. Or each month get one of those ovulation tests and use it when dh is in town to make sure you're not ovulating, could be a pain, but cheaper than pills if you have to buy them.
Leigh, not too crazy about Rae. I used to watch One Life To Live with doc Rae Cummings. She wasn't the bad person, but that's who I would think of. I kind of want it more modern to fit with Kailey and Paige, my other daughter's middle name. But keep the suggestions coming.

Hi girls I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday,

I don't have much time but Spryng I wanted to talk to you about your cysts. I have suffered with them since I was fifteen and I started a new bc pill last September and for a whole year I have been feeling pretty good. Occasional ovary pain but I remember those days where they would rupture and get sick to my stomach, and it even hurt to walk for days, like I got punched in the stomach. So I know they are terrible. If I were you I would look into bc pills, it is the only thing that helps for me. Unless I would get a hysterectomy. But follow the advice of your last poster, I am so sorry I forgot who it was, but call some clinics and explain your situation. Maybe they can get you and exam and get you some samples or a rx for some bc pills. Good luck let me know if you have any questions.
Hi everyone else

Hi all...

Cancelled all reservations in FL....BIL said stay AWAY!! We're going to make Texas plans tonight...probably Corpus Cristi... SIL lives in San Antonio and she suggested it. Don't think I'll get back here tonight but I'll be sure to post tomorrow before we depart. This is kind of exciting...last minute stuff...never been to Texas before! Crystal and Cheri...I'll be waving to ya!
Leigh...hope all of your family will be safe! I'm so scared for BIL and family. They won't get the storm surge, but will all the rest if it hits nearby. Your Mom is in Boca right?? Hope Dh will be safe too! I'll be saying lots of prayers for the next couple of days.
TTYL

OH....make sure the QOTD about me are really juicy OK??? I lead such a boring life these days LOL!!

hey there gals one more post before I go get dinner started and head to work tonight!

Spryng - glad that you liked the recipe, I use the light cream cheese, because I can't stand the ff kind, it tastes too chalky to me! I love regular cream cheese, so I guess I am doing better by at least going loight! haha! The lipton stuff is really the secret to the filling, it makes it so tasty! Hope you got a good nap in todya, wish I could have.

Crystal - sounds like things with you are on track a little more now! Lots of things going on around your place lately, make sure that you take some time to yourself to relax ! I will keep my fingers crossed for you about the house situation and I will say an extra prayer for those around you who aren't feeling well.

Mel - no blood test yet, I will go in late next week if still no TOM or positive prego test at home. Gabby is such a cute name, that would have been funny though! Hope you are having a good day today! THanks for the PG vibes

Leigh - yes, it can, it screws up your blood counts and makes it so your body won't release the blood unless it knows that you don't "need" it. Kind of like a defense mechanism. I probably said that all wrong, I have no clue about all the doctor terms and such!

well - okay, sydney peed her pants while I was writing this, she just got up from her snoozy and was IN the bathroom....sheesh! well - I will maybe get back here, so we'll see if not, have a good night!

Hi, gals. Not sure how far I'll get in this- Liam is being Superfussyman. Gave him some Tylenol in case it's his teeth, so we'll see. DH will be on TV tonight and I want to see if he recognizes him yet (hasn't so far).

Spryng- you could also try the combo of condom plus separate spermicide (that YOU use- not the kind already on the condom) that has a high effectiveness rating. A condom used in conjunction with a spermicidal foam, cream, or jelly provides close to 100% protection against pregnancy. But that's if you use it perfectly, of course, so I think in reality it's probabky 97% effective or something. You can get both over the counter.

Jill- hooray on turning down BK! And I did it- I had a lunchable

Crystal- seems like there are lots of October babies here!

Hi, Julie!

Geri- yes, Mother and sis are in Boca, but not evacuating because they think it will be north of them. But they said the storm is 80 miles wide, so they'll still get severe weather. On a side note- looks like you're reliving our trip to TX! Loved San Antonio.

Kristin- wow! I really never knew any of that about anemia.

Hi, Jaymi! We miss you

Michelle- oh, that IS your middle name! LOL. I completely forgot, actually, as I always think of you as just Michelle. Well, not just Michelle- but maybe Michelle the great. I like the name Rae. But Crystal has those bad soap opera vibe connections with it

Wonder what's on TV tonight . . .
