Hello again!

Dinner was good, but for some reason I wasn't really hungry, probably because I ate a late lunch. But I had a couple chicken strips and a few home made fries... it was good.

Leigh, I think I may try that... the spermacide and extra stuff with the condoms. I just want to be protected until I can afford BC. But you know.. I don't know if want to go on the pill again. I mean I would like to try that seasonale but that would be it. But it's very expensive so I wouldn't even attempt to try it until we had insurance. But I think my body could use a rest from hormones for awhile.

Michelle, I love the name Rae! I have a cousin named Rachel and we call her Rae Rae... so cute.

Julie, thanks for the info on the cysts! and we have those clinics here but I won't qualify for free BC pills... they always ask for your income and dh makes too much. We are like right in the middle of it all... I hate it.

Crystal, when I was pregnant with Tanner my uterus always measured 4 centimeters above where it should have been... my midwife said that is common in women who have had more than one baby. But I'm sure she is getting anxious about giving birth! I know by 33 weeks I was really starting to nest and get things done and always sooo tired (and FAT!) lol... the 9th month is the hardest.

Ok, the kids are on a rampage... why is it when I feed them they get all this extra energy???!! LOL... I need to buy a treadmill and put a cage around it and stick them in it when they get like this to burn that energy off, lol. Can drive you nuts real quick, lol. Ok gotta go!

Just a quick note to Spryng.... Condoms are 99.9 percent effective if USED CORRECTLY. SO far, they have worked for us. Otherwise I think we would have had many more by now...lol. Just so you know first try with 3 pregnancies. Used condoms in between and since Patrick's birth and nothing. Key is to use Condoms with spermiced so that if an accidental break or leak should happen, which never did for us, then you would be double protected. Also, Eckerd drug if you have one of those near you...it's a chain always has sales buy one pack get one free. So they are not expensive. Hope this helps you now that I spelled out my birth control ....lol I'm glad you getting the iud out though, since it's causing you such pain. Oh yes, and there is a new permanent method out they insert a spring like thing into each fallopian tube and the tubes scars around it so that it's essentaily like having a tubal without the surgery. I just read about it 2 weeks ago on the internet. Prayers are with you.

Hey everyone! Just got done with dinner and it was pretty good, I made curry chicken with rice and a green salad. Kind of spicy but not a distaster and that is all I was asking for as far as dinners went this week! LOL We had leftover rice so I am making rice pudding with splenda right now, I'll let you know how it comes out. Well during dinner my cousin called and told me she is pregnant!! She was here last week and said they were going to start trying in october so I guess it came a little sooner! I am so excited, it is their first.

I won't be here in the a.m., dh, dd and I are going to go get some things for the gun shop. It's about a 200 mile round trip and we have an extra stop planned. We will be going camping this weekend. Dh ended up with the weekend off so he is going to go to the Cowboy shoot and wants me and the kiddos to come down and watch then stay overnight. We will leave early Saturday morning and come back sometime sunday afternoon. I will try to get here Sunday night and catch up.....so don't chat too much all weekend or it will take to long to read all posts, like it did tonight.

Well better get to bed, have to be up early for our trip. Hope to be able to post tomorrow night.

Got a new fridge, I got a freezer on top, it was on sale. Seems to have much more room in it than the old one. Waiting for them all day kinda messed my day up, but it all worked out in the end.

Spryng...I am using the Nuvaring, and so far I love it. No crazy side effects like pills! And my OB/GYN saves her samples for folks without insurance, so you should at least ask your doc if they can help you out that way. She has given me 6 months at a time before. She gave me 3 of these rings, and I should have my surgery before I ever fill the prescription. We have also used condoms with much success, never failed us yet. But not always what my dh wants to use, if ya know what I mean. It's the price he's had to pay for being too chicken to get a vasectomy, tho, so who cares what he wants, right? LOL! I had 4 sections, you'd think he could do this one thing for me...men are babies.

No lunch or dinner here, I have been bad, abusing my body with laxatives, so I have a rather torn up stomach...bad confession, I know. But I am struggling and thought it might help get some of the weight I gained back off...don't try it, it's not worth the suffering...I think I have ulcers now! I haven't shared that with anyone and now that I typed it, I feel like a fool for thinking of such a dumb thing!

I gotta get Justin from work, will be back shortly! Last night we picked up a hitchhiker and took him home and got in late, so if no crazy notion strikes me, I'll be back. I usually am a good judge of character and I felt like this man was in need and safe... I was right and it felt good to help someone. I know I am nuts, no big news flash here!

Julie.. I live very much in the city...but close to the country...if that makes any sense. We have a lot of bike trails around too so I just head south and before you know it I'm passing horse farms and such. It still amazes me. Never knew I lived so close to the country and yet have like 3 Walgreen's within a 2 mile radius .

Leigh... BIL says they're predicting the eye to hit north of Coral Springs...the name of the town escapes me of course. But they'll still get bad weather... Where is Dh? BTW SIL doesn't live in San Antonio , bil that now is in Coral Spr used to live there...sil lives in Austin...my bad! What do I know...it's a big state and I've never been there . We'll try not to get hit by a semi while driving through!

Hi to everyone else!

We have a travel plan...sort of. We're going to drive to Austin for the holiday weekend as pretty much everywhere on the beach will be sold out for the holiday or rediculously expensive. We'll stay with sil for the weekend and then head to the Corpus Christi area for the rest of the week. We'll be back home Monday the 13th. I may be able to check in while we're in Austin! That excites me! I'll be able to say hi .

Gotta go pay the bills now and then get to bed. I must finish packing tomorrow plus all the regular stuff with the boys during the day. I'll be back in a few days...or maybe even tomorrow before we leave. I'll miss you ladies!!

I got my exercise in!!! I wasn't in the mood for it after the kids went down but I thought... I've committed myself to just 3 times a week... that is all, I can get it over with tonight and tomorrow I won't have to think about it!! So I got up and popped in my tape... I did 20 min of Denise Austin and today she did light cardio and pilates focusing on the abs... and boy was that a workout! I know I'll feel it in the morning! But I'm proud of myself for getting it done.
SIL came over after dinner and mowed my lawn, she wanted some extra money and asked if she could (it really needed it anyway) so while she was outside mowing I was stuck with her two kids... the 7 yo is fine.. but her 2 yo is a demon!!!! All she did was hurt Tanner or cry over something stupid. She is soooo spoiled rotten and I refuse to cater to her. I was glad when she left.
But anyway, guess that was mean. SOrry, lol.

Geri, I'll miss you too!!! Have a safe trip and think of me often ok?? LOL! And no you don't get to harass me tonight, lol.. I exercised!!!!

Cindi, glad you got a new fridge!! Must be nice! And believe me I've done stupid things to try and lose weight faster too... I even tried to purge a few times... but that is so time consuming, lol. I thought you'd stick your finger down your throat and up it comes... NOT! try half an hour of doing it and some comes back up... not worth it, lol. That was a long time ago though. I think we women feel so much pressure to get the weight off, especially if we have kids, we don't want to look like mom's with kids, lol... but remember it's much better on your body to do it the healthy way... I am here for you!!!! Please take me up on that, ok?? I mean it. I'll email you my phone number and you can call anytime you need some support or to vent or whatever, ok?

Mel, thanks for the info on condoms and such. That is what we will probably use for awhile. I'm not interested in permanent BC yet... but I'll keep that coil procedure in mind for later down the road. Medicine has come a long way huh? I know my midwife will give me some ideas on what to do also that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
