We are going to be busy in the next couple of days. Brandon is getting baptized this coming Sunday, so we will be running around trying to clean clean clean.

I have been keeping up with my daily exercises. Which consist of riding my stationary bike for about 20 to 30 minutes every morning. I also do crunches, lift weights and side leg lifts. Not really sure if the weights and leg lifts are doing anything, but I have noticed a difference from the crunches. (I have also noticed that when we go out for walks, I get guys that stare at me!! I never got that before because I was always bigger.)

We weighed Brandon earlier this week, and I jumped on the scale and it told me that I gained 7 pounds. I didn't know if it was true or if it was because we came into the store out of the hot sun. I have cut back on my pop intake, only one glass a day. I am also on the www.fitday.com website, and going by that I take in a little over a 1,000 calories. And I get ride of a little over 4,000 calories with all my exercising and regular activities that I do. That is a good thing of me burning more then bringing in right?

ok....I think this is long enough....so I will cut it off right here.

Angie~ She is all for it, but she has been working a lot because her and her fiancé are paying for the majority of it. And he isn’t helping out at all with the planning.

Jana~ As it looks right now, there will more then likely be more of my hubby’s family there. But we also have several friends coming over, so they can count on my side! I got word today that my parents won’t be able to make it because they live about 2 ½ hours away and won’t have any gas money for it. The sister that I emailed, lives a couple miles away from me, in driving time, maybe 10 minutes. Nope, she isn’t my only sibling. I have four older sisters. (I am the youngest of my parents biological daughters. Yes they had five of them!) They went on to adopt 12 or 13 younger siblings. You can see all of us at our family’s website. The address is http://www.s-tolin.net feel free to go and take a look.

Marti~ Thanks….he is really into the stranger thing now. Anyone that he doesn’t know he will start crying for. So it should be interesting because after the minister baptizes him, then Brandon will go out into the congregation and sit with someone. He has this little ducky that he just loves! He has to have it with him everywhere! So we already have an idea for a theme for his first birthday! I am planning on getting a black and white camera for his baptism and I will put some pictures on his webpage for you all to see them.

Default Hey Everyone!!!!

Hi all!!!
Well I'm having abad day today, got my car looked at and it needs new brakes and new front tires... ALSO, I had to have a new fan belt and pulleys put in, which I was not happy about because I just had a mechanic do that 2 months ago and it appears he ripped me off !!! So I had to pay 150.00 today to have the same thing done all over again.... I called the guy who ripped me off and he wouldn't even make good on it, gave me a wicked attitude, so Im not happy today... But thanks to my aggravation, I hardly ate so Im doing good for now.......

Jana : Thanks for your support!!! I did really good again last night, but I woke up this morning starving!!!! It's been tough, but Im hoping to see results on the scale sunday morning...... Nightime isn't easy

Marti : Hope your job interview goes well and I got your private message, I
messaged you back with my address as well!!!!

Mom2Gaby : Hope you get your watermelon tonight!!! And whats all of this
about a cable guy??? Sounds interesting!!!! HAHA

Cristi : Thanks for the compliment!!!! And as far as the lojack goes, it is
pretty nifty, but Lojack for people would be really cool too... I've
heard that's in the works!!!

To everyone else I havent spoke with above.... hope you are having a great day and I hope everyone is doing well with their dieting!!!!! I will check back in later
Julie

Hi ladies--

I'm home....and feeling much better. I DID have more than one person....I had three. But it was all good, I had the guy I knew from Sony in there and two women who worked on the floor that I'm applying for. It was about an hour total with the tour of the area. I can't really say how well I did in the interview......I felt ok at the time...but you know how later you start thinking "Oh I should have mentioned this" or "I should have told them that" or even "Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that...."

There was this question about Supervisors and did I have any conflicts with any of them. I didn't ever have problems with my supervisors. I did tell them that when I worked at Foster Farms, that I didn't see much of the supervisor himself mainly the supervisor assistant. So they wanted to know how we got along....I sat there and kind of smiled and said "Well.....I married him" They all laughed but I was immediately thinking I shouldn't have said that, but they all seemed so nice.

My tummy was GROWLING loudly when I was waiting for the interview...I kept thinking that I hope it stops before I go in...thank god it did!!

There are two women that had worked at Sony who works there and a manager who also works there was from Sony (but I didn't know him prior) So it may be more comfortable seeing familiar faces if I do get this job.

Anyway...that is how my afternoon went girls!! I'm so happy it's over with!!

Susan--I hope you get your watermelon and enjoy every bit of it! I've tried those small watermelons...they are very sweet. I like them and they're just the right size for me since I don't eat much of them. Jhanai usually has most of it.

Rk--I hope you get to enjoy your entire week long trip. Even though you dread going....your kids are going to have fun seeing their grandpa. Roast some marshmellows for me!! (oh wait...I can't stand marshmellows....roast a weenie for me!!)

Mindee--I looked at your site of your family and it is just a wonderful site you have!! I thought it was so sweet. I love what your mother wrote for each of you. And some of it brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful family you have. You are a beautiful girl and your husband and son look great too. Thank you for sharing that with us!

Julie--So sorry that you're having such a terrible day! Just make sure you don't let the aggravation get to you so much that you forget to eat. Can't have that. We are proud of you for how well you're doing..... and making it through the nights with no snacks in not easy, but you're doing it!! Congrats to you. I hope your day gets better.

Hello to the rest of you girls out there!!

Well it's time for me to have a late lunch. My nerves are finally calming down and I'm ready to settle down!

Take Care girls and I will check in later

Hiya ladies,

Angie - thanks for the postcard.. the view of the Canadian Rockies is breathtaking!!!!

Susan - so did you shop for the lobby furniture today? Hmm... so Michael is Italian .... will we call him the Italian Stallion? YAY for the weigh in!!

Marti - inquiring minds wanna know.... how'd it go?? I was sending prayers and good vibes your way! Didya feel them??

Mindee - I'm thinking 1000 calories is a little low? I'm no doc or nutritionist, but I have read that you shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories a day... just a thought. Don't want any Jaded Lady to get malnourished! Be sure and take some pics at the baptism, too! The bd party idea sounds great.

Julie - sorry about the car expense! Glad you're doing well with the night time eating. Bob Greene says when you feel moderate hunger, that's your body telling you that it's about to begin feeding off the stored fat. YAY for that!!

Jen - just placed an order to Terry's from their Fall catalog I got in the mail the other day! Thanks again for that website addy.

Hello to all the other JLs.

Still didn't make it to the fabric store. Spent too much time in Walmart. It must have been Couple's Day there.... couples all over the place!

Have some spaghetti sauce cooking for supper and it sure smells good... mmmmm.

TTFN,

Marti - glad it went well! I think your comment about marrying the Assistant Supervisor was cute. Shows you have a sense of humor, AND that you got along well with him, . Nice that there are some Sony people there!

Hi gals

Jana--I didn't even see your post the last time I was on!! I told James about my comment and he just laughed. I went to Walmart this morning before the interview...to buy a new top!! I ended up buying this cute dressy t-shirt type top (no buttons) with a V-neck and a little cute built in cami. I wore that with black slacks and black heals. Hope it was good enough. Actually....I felt over dressed compared to the people there. It's very casual!

Susan--Cantaloupe?? You sure did throw us for loop!! I like hearing you describe your love interest. You are always so excited!! Post a photo when you can!

Tj--Don't ever feel like you have to NOT come here because you fell of the wagon!! Heaven forbid if I were to do that you'd all never see me!! Getting and keeping motivation has always been hard for me too....but coming here to just talk about it....it really does help. So don't hesitate to get in here and let it out. As for a challenge....doing the 21 day challenge helps me...but I'm up for anything new....I'm just no good at coming up with something. Hopefully someone will.

Has anyone been watching the "Amazing Race"? I keep telling James that we need to sign up because not only is it challenging.....the travel experience would just be incredible!!! There are two girls who are twins on there....and they are from Eugene! I didn't know that until yesterday. And from what I've watched so far (which isn't too much) they're not the brightest girls... --did I just say that? But they're doing pretty good otherwise.

Making Lasagna tonight for when James comes home. I believe he'll be home in the morning sometime...which is why I'm in no big hurry to make it. but it sounded good and I've been thinking about it...so I'm going to do it.

More than you all want to know?

I'll check in later

Good evening. I just spent the last 5 minutes "playing drums" on top of my monitor. Now, if no one moves, I should be able to get this post finished! UGH! I may have to break down and buy a new monitor this weekend. I hate to spend the money though. When did I become such a tight*ss?

I'm tentatively planning a surprise 11pm visit with one of my employees tonight. I have to supervise all of them with at least twice a year, which really isn't that much. But when you figure in all the off shifts, it's interesting. The problem is, I'm tired now. It's not even 8pm. I'll be lucky to be in bed by midnight. At least the client lives close to me! I'll go in to work a little late tomorrow, like 930 or 10. That way I can still get some sleep. Plus, I took Friday and Monday off, so then I get a wonderfully long weekend!

Marti - Congrats on the interview. I agree, it was good for them to see some humor!

TJ - Like Marti said, of all places to be when you need motivation, get your butt in here, this is where you belong! That's exactly what we are here for!

Susan - Cantaloupe? I love a good one! So, an Irish cable guy named Michael. Hmmmm. Pictures coming together now....

Jana - I didn't get a fall catalog from Terry's. But I did get a Christmas one. Isn't that weird? I'm gonna go to the website and see what's up. I definately need more fall stuff around here (NOT)!

I still haven't decided about the avatar resizer. I've got it drilled in my brain that .exe files are bad news. Guess I may just have to get over that!

Well, I've got some stuff to do instead of sitting on my butt all night.

Jen

hey jaded ladies---
after reading the past 4 pages of stuff i feel so much better. it sounds so stupid for me to say this, but if i feel like i am going to be held accountable for my actions, (ei exercise, wt loss, eating right, etc.) i seem to do better. does any one out there wanna be my mentor??? LOL

Welcome Julie- i have a step daughter 6 mos older than i whose name is Julie Ann. funny huh. but to add to it, we call her jewels or jewelbug. LOL she would die if she knew i told you. hehe thank god shes so skinny you can see thru her. LOL good kid though, my hubby and i are lucky.

RK- yes, im the big brother fan. so glad they ganged up on jase this wk what a jerk. what did you think when he was mouthing A off and her twin walked thru the door. that was soooo funny. did you see them advertising that survivor is starting again in sept. rupert from the last two was absolutely awsome.

it has been cool here. i think i may go to the park tom and walk. that would get me back on track.

christi-(i have a hard time typing your name cause my daughters name is spelled Kriste) anyway, the money situation. i read in an ann landers column years ago that you should turn down the money once and if they insist that it is inpolite to refuse a second time. so as the song goes "take the money and run" lol

as for the watermelon situation here. there is a generic store here called save-a-lot and you bag your own groceries. everything is real cheap and almost everything is not name brand. anyway, you can get any size, any type of watermelon there for $2.99. isnt that cool.

susan-congrats on the wt loss. keep up the good work.

Mindee- great exercising. send some of your motivation my way. LOl

Marti- glad your interview went well. thanx for the confidence. i appreciate it.

well, now that the first chapter is finshed i think ill go to bed. its after 900 here. also, after i watch bigbrother tom i will come in to chat hope you all will be there.

see ya tom.

Well, it's 830pm, and I'm seriously thinking about going to bed. Don't think I'm going to make my night shift visit tonight. Ugh. Maybe Friday or Monday after I have slept in that am. Hate to do it on a day off, but it might be the best way. Heck, I could make a day of it and do like 3-4 night shift visits! Wouldn't I be the nut. Driving from town to town, knocking on doors at 2am! Hi, I'm Jen the supervising Nut!

Julie~ Sorry to hear that you are having a bad day. Is there a local news station that does investigative reporting? Here in MI, they have Ruth to the Rescue, you could call them and tell them about the guy ripping you off, and they might look into it if they know that others have been ripped off as well.

Marti~ Thanks for checking the site out. My mom loves doing the website, although I have gone on there and she had left some things out or hadn’t updated a couple pictures. But who can blame her with all the kids at home? Good luck with the job.

Jana~ I know that it is over 1,000, but I am not sure the exact count. I will have to check it out, but I believe I have gotten over the 1,200 mark each day. The day that I was going to mention the birthday party idea to my hubby, ironically we got a catalog from Birthday Express. So, we were looking through it to see if they had any ducky themes and sure enough they do, but it only feeds eight. So we will have to look around at different stores. I know it can be done because I was just at a baby shower where the theme was rubber duckies.

TJ~ My motivation is getting into a better body shape for our friend’s wedding next May. But I just found out a couple hours ago that we have yet another wedding to go to……next month!!! So I am setting a mini-goal for myself to be down closer to the 200 mark by then, which I think I can do! I get on my bike in the morning after I feed Brandon at 5am….but I am also thinking about adding a night time turn on it. Will that help me or harm me? It seems like after 9pm, I don’t have anything else that HAS to be done, so I just get on here and check my mail.
