Ladies, I think this is one of the busiest weekends yet and I was not around to post. The baby shower was great. Everyone had a great time. She got a couple of duplicate gifts as Babies R Us did not keep up with the registry.

Di - A party at Babies R Us. That is good advertisement, but kind of strange. Never heard of a party there.

Penny - How did the B-day go?

Leigh - We are making a trip to Atlanta this weekend for dh first father's day. He wants to see the Braves and eat at Magianno's. I am going to have to be really strong with all the good food there.

So funny to hear about your house whoas. It is always something. Dh has gone crazy. He is buying an a/c for the garage so his dog can stay there when we go out of town this weekend. It is a lab/chow mix, so much hair, dh vacuums the house twice a day, which isn't even enough. I hope he stays out of my house more often, so I don't have to worry about hair balls in JW mouth.

Anyway, back to weightloss. I was down 1 on Friday. LA is closing on Sat, so I will only weigh in twice a week now, the three times a week was a little obsessive. This plan is really hard to follow and I find myself not sticking to it. There is a certain list of foods you can eat and that is not real eating. I can not limit myself like that forever. Well, I am still only down 1.8 total since I started LA. I still have 13 more weeks that I have paid for, so I will continue. I have tried the LA thread to be more positive, but I am just in a rut with the plan.

Overall, even though the scale is not budging much I feel like I have a healthy lifestyle. The workouts are going well. I am going to have them check the inches again, maybe that will be more representative.

I will check in later. Have a good week ladies!

Lisa OMG I can't believe you mentioned Deuce Bigalow, my mom and I kind of had this joke about that "did you say steak" line. When I was pregnant with Taylor I guess I said that line just like that lady one nite when my mom said we were going to have steak lol. Ahhh Memories!

Jessica - Welcome to 3fc!! I'm Michelle sahm to 2yo Taylor and 8 month old Teagan. So we know you are on a liquid diet. How long do you need to stay on it? Do you workout? What is your current weight and your goal weight? lol sorry I'm just being a nosey girl tonight

Melinda - Well 1.8lbs down is still a loss girl, don't discount that at all!! Keep up the great work!! You are doing wonderful!!

Well off to explore the boards lol. TTYL!

lol michelle, that movie cracked me up. One part in particular really had me laughing my *** off and kind of reminds me what I am like when I drive here in CA. I don't know where it comes from and even my hubby (who is a sailor) looks at me in total shock LOL

Scotty: "Captn, she cant take no more, do ya hear me Jim??"
Jim: "Spock, is it at ALL possible that it will ever cool down in Southern California"
Spock: "Well Jim, I can't tell a lie, it's highly unlikely, the possibility of it cooling in the High Desert is unheard off Jim"
Scotty: "Captn, she's losing it, she's going into meltdown"
Jim: "Warp speed Mr Sooloo, we are getting the **** out of here"
Mr Sooloo: "Right you are Captn, Warp speed ahead"

ROFLMAO, ok so I have totally fallen off my rocker but OMG it is hot, hot, hot and its 9.30pm lol.

ok, going back under my rock until it cools down...

    Default Good Morning

Hi everyone. Drinking my worning coffee here as I write.

Melinda - Congrats on the 1 lb loss!!! DH loooveesss Maggianos! I know you can be strong Just imagine yourself at your goal weight while everyone is ordering/eating. This worked for me the other night when everyone was eating an appetizer of wings.

Lisa - you have great goals this week. Good for you! I hope you check in once in a while - even if it's one time every couple of days or so, just to let us know how you're doing.

Not going on my usual power walk as I'm still a bit under the weather and don't want to push it with my congestion. However, yesterday I did 30 minutes of toning with two of my tapes. I think we're just doing stuff around the house today. DH is home for the day and FIL is going to be our handyman and do some little repairs.
    I'll check in later . . .

    Good morning all!!

Welcome Jessica! I am Spryng (pronounced spring) mother of 3, ava-4, Bubba-3 and Tanner- 11 months old. Been married for 6 years to a man who is now a truck driver and I only get to see him every two weeks for a weekend. But I'm used to it now. But we are close to the same age (you and I) I'm 24. I look forward to getting to know you better and I would like to know your stats too!

Well everyone, there was alot of posts while I was gone yesterday. So I'm just going to sum up my day. lol. I had a very nice visit with my bf. Her baby is soooo adorable. A very good baby. Head full of black curly hair and pale skin and dark eyes. Very pretty. She has just hit the age (2 1/2 months) where she is discovering her voice. So cute. But it was so nice to be able to visit without my kids. We just talked non-stop for 5 hours, lol. Then of course I had the long drive home and dh called while I was driving home and I stopped paying attention to the road and got off on the wrong exit and didn't know it for awhile, lol. Needless to say I had to turn around and that made me get home even later. DH laughed at me, lol. (it was HIS fault, LOL) But it was a nice day but I'm glad to be home today. I need to sit and work out a grocery list this week. I'm not going to do my saving dinner book this week. I'll probably do a couple of the recipes out of it for this week but not all of them. I'm getting tired of only a few of them being good, so I'll go back to planning my own menu for the week and writing out my grocery list. But that is good because I got a new cookinglight cook book and want to try some of those recipes too, lol.
Ok, well today I'm going to get my house deep cleaned and then write out my grocery list and then go shopping later.
Oh I did watch six feet under (love all those HBO shows, especially Deadwood right now) so I taped them last night and saw six feet under this morning, looks like another great season!
ok, gotta get my day started. Hello to everyone!!

    Good morning ladies,

It's a hot one here too!

Lisa...we're addictive Good luck staying away from us! Actually, I really hope you have a great week with the boys and keep up your weekly goals. YOu're doing great!

Spryng, glad you had a great time. Dh should not distract you with that love talk while you're driving JK of course! Glad you had a good time. I assume your inlaws had the kids for the day?

Good morning Michelle! Congrats on the loss and becoming a moderator!! I got my 3 miles in today but Will didn't want to come downstairs so I did it upstairs...it's 75 up there Needless to say I've turned on the AC. I would much rather have the windows open but it's supposed to be near 80 today and ... yep, you guessed it... more rain later . The mosquitos are horrible once again. We stocked up on bug spray. I think you asked and we use the family formula on kids. I would rather give them a little bug spray than have them get sick from the bites. They still get through to Will..poor guy. Still looks like Chicken pox or something. He's a trouper! All he says is "NAUGHTY SKITOS"

Leigh...man sure hope you get better soon. Congrats on the 30 min! I would have used that as an excuse not to exercise! You go girl

Welcome Jessica...wow, a liquid diet. I couldn't do it unless it involved Baccardi and a blender . I'm Geri, 40 yo sahm to Will-3 and Tony-1...or as I call them, the little devils.

Melinda, congrats on the 1 lb down. Good luck at the restaraunt too!

OK, Mom's upstairs with the boys again today. I need to start getting my rummage sale stuff together as it is this Friday and Saturday .

Hello to eveyone else out there! Have a great day and I'll post again tonight.

    Smile Good Morning

    Hi all.
I wasn't around here yesterday and there was like a whole new thread gone through.

Michelle, WTG on the loss. Are you close to onderland yet? You may already be there.

Welcome Jessica, I'm Crystal, 26 yo sahm of 3 almost 4. Alisa 5, Ally 3, Andrew 18 months. Married almost 9 years. I'm expecting in Feb. I had joined, lost 15 lbs. when I found out I was expecting. So I'm sticking around because this is addictive and I'm hoping to make this the best and healthiest pregnancy yet. Glad you're here, hope you stick around.

Well girls, I was at home all day yesterday but felt like CRUD!!! Nauseas all day yesterday, badly. I'm doing somewhat better today and I have to get out and run errands today. Thinking Subway sounds really good and maybe the park.
I'll try to check in later. I go to the doc on Thursday and I'm anxious for that. Anyways I hope you all have a good day.
