Happy Monday all!

It's really scary but I've been really good all week!! Weighed Saturday morning and I had lost 7lbs (yay!). I don't think I am eating enough tho. I've been having terrible trouble sleeping the past few days, I think it is my poor body trying to cope with the lack of sugar that I normally shovel in everyday. I'm not 'crashing' anymore when the sugar spike drops. At 2.30am Sunday morning I decided that I needed to eat something as I had lain in bed for at least 2 hours wide awake and gone to the bathroom to wee at least 7 times so I had a couple of slices of slimmers wheat bread and peanut butter and half a teaspoon of jam! I think it kinda worked as I did get to sleep about 20 mins later but every little noise woke me. I think I drink too much late at night too. Being British I am a tea-aholic and normally the caffeine doesn't bother me and I might get up to wee once in the night. Had my last cuppa at about 8 last night, might have even been a little earlier, altho I did have a half glass of milk to take my meds around 9. I fell asleep a bit quicker and only woke up cos the puppies woke me up to go out at 2.15am! I know I had a better sleep last night so that seems to be the answer (which is a bugger as I love my cuppas).

Still haven't done any real exercise, I did have the energy to do lots of housework tho. Hubby is being very good too and sticking to his good foods.

Well, I shall stop rambling now!

Hugs to all!

Hippy,

CONGRATS on the loss!!!! You deserve it, you did it for yourself!

I miss having a nice cuppa...I've cut down dramatically since my kidney stone. Brewed teas are very high in calcium oxalate which is what my stone was made up of...so that was the first thing off my list... :(

OMG! I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have my cuppas...I remember when I first found out about low carbing with the Vitaline PCOS Diet and it said I had to drink decaf tea....omg the headaches....the withdrawal...that lasted 2 days!

Girlie 02-27-2006 07:04 PM

Hippy:
Do you have PCOS as well?
I was diagnosed in 2001.

Waving hi to all!!!!!

DS had school, 6 other kids here ALL day. Hubby was home today. He works tomorrow.
We had our last storytime til spring.
I enjoyed Dancing with the Stars last night. Glad Drew won.
At 10pm I picked up the toyroom and then went to sleep.

Clyde seems sicker today.

Saturday I was tired and bummed out all day. After a good sleep I felt better. Yesterday was very nice. I got up alone!! and enjoyed my coffee and then cleaned the kitchen well. we all went to church and then came home for lunch.
The kids and i took off for a relaxed trip to the city. Did the bank, bulk store, dollar store, business depot, grocery store and then!! the pet store!!! we were Hamster shopping. It was a BLAST!! Then we picked up Swiss Chalet and went to my Grandma’s for supper and then I did her hair and toes.
Delightful!

Food has been okay. Exercise has been 0.

I am thinking on tackling the books shelves in the “library"/ computer room. This is where i will put the piano when it arrives. I have culled books recently but still have 5 shelves full.I will move then up to the spare room now that the stack of drywall is not there and screwed to the bathroom walls!!
This all good as i have been using this room as my Avon office as well and it is messy but organized.I was thinking of making changes anyhow.
First I will spring clean the spare room. It hads a bed, invertor board for hubby’s back exercises and 2 playpens for toddler naps. I will pull everything out but the bed give a good dust and wipe.
I LOVE spring cleaning!!
Have I mentioned the piano. My Sis called on Sat( a little tipsy, it was funny) saying they weren’t going to keep the piano that came with their house and were giving to me. This is all good as DD is quite musical and I wanted both kids to take piano lessons but have no way to ever afford the instrument.

HUGSSSS!!!
Still catching up.....

Whew, just did the darn dishes. my hands are all itchy. My head is fuzzy too from all the dust today!

I culled 4 bags of books . Still have about 5 laundry baskets full. Before we moved here I culled about 10 boxes and then last year 2 boxes.sigh. These books were my best friends for most of my life.

Have had the measuring tape out and things will fit perfectly in here for the piano and business stuff(and futon for my naps).Just like it was meant to be.
Moved 3 wooden shelves upstairs and unloaded 3 baskets of books onto them.

Off to move 2 more baskets.
I just remembered.......... Our pancake supper is tomorrow. my friend has organized the whole thing. HUGE job. I made the posters etc. I am going at 4 to set tables and then do dishes. My folks, hubby and kids are coming at 6 to eat and then I am leaving at 7 to go to an Avon meeting. another busy day.

Good Day, everyone.

I like WW because I can literally eat ANYTHING I want...as long as I count points and stay in the range and stay OP. It was nice going to Starbucks this morning for a tall non-fat sugar free vanilla latte to get me going and not feeling guilty. And it's only 2 points anyway.

I feel good because I made it to the gym again this morning for 50 minutes on the elliptical - that's 3 times this WW week. I feel confident that I will keep this up and have a loss on Saturday morning. I don't really care if it's 1 pound or 5...I just want a loss. That's how we all should feel. Just one TENTH of a pound a week.

Hope you all are having a good day.

Girlie

My name is Anna. I'm 28 and live in Chicago. I started the South Beach Diet on 1/1 and although I have lost 21 lbs...I'm still have a little bit to go to reach 199. So hopefully we can all make it together

Have a good afternoon everyone!

Got room for one more?

Hi ladies(gents), I'm Danielle,a married mom of 3. I am SO done with being overweight. Getting to 199 will be heaven for me and I've really been struggling lately. I've been working on this since the new year and I've lost very little. Watching my calories and working out 6x a week and only about 8 lbs. And the last 2 weeks, I've bounced around 2-3 lbs and can't get any lower than 241. Needless to say I'm very frustrated! I thought maybe joining here would help keep my eye on my first short-term goal, and also because I can tell this is a great group of supportive people. I look forward to getting to know you all and walking this journey together.

Girlie:

You're very creative! Do you have like an online blog? I just created mines about two days ago. Started my new job at Curves today. :carrot: I worked my *** off literally! I spent 95% of the time on the equipment, working out with the members, working out when the place was empty. I'm sore as **** but I feel good. Which is great since I feel horrible about my food choices. Look at my profile on here to get the link to my webblog and you'll see what I mean!

JasonsLea 03-01-2006 01:47 AM

BTW, welcome to all the new people!:carrot: Let's spread the ONEderland luv!

Hello All....

Whew wee, supposed to get to 65 degrees today, here in Indy. Too bad I am inside working, would like to say I will get out and walk at lunch, but not motivated enough to do that yet. Can you say L.A.Z.Y??

Welcome to Charlie, Danielle, and Anna. This is a great place for support from very lovely, caring ladies. We all are on the same path. Let's do it, Gals.

Shari - A job at Curves, that should motivate you somewhat. I belong to Curves and pay monthly, but have not been since November. Please pray for motivation for me to go.

Had a veggie omelet w/salsa for breaky. Yum and only about 6 points.

Hey, I found a very informational website. Check it out. www.hungrygirl.com All kinds of diet tips, information, recipes, etc.

Best get busy, work is calling. YUCK!

Have a wonderful day, ladies, may the force be with us all.

(((Hugs)))

Good morning all! It is supposed to get up to 50 today! I am so excited I am going to try to get a walk in with my girls this morning. It will be a little fater with just them, than if I took all three. DS will be at school, so as long as it doesn't rain I should be good to go!

Shari~Great job with Curves, but you don't want to overdo it. Just exercise like you were before, and things should be fine. Enjoy the new job!

Annie~I Hate being trapped inside at work on nice days. Try to get out you will feel better.

Welcome to all the newbies!

Again, not we are just having arguments...I need to go interfere

Later chicas
