Hello,
I've had a pretty good weekend. I've been on plan, got a great workout in today and getting ready to kick back and relax watching Desperate Housewifes. I have a new goal to work for. We are going on a crusie next September! My brother is taking us for our birthday and Christmas presents. I'm excited! There is NO WAY I'm going on that cruise weighin over 200 lbs. I have something new to work hard for and I'm excited about it. Debbie: I'm a fast food person too. My life is so busy and it just seems so much easier sometimes. I know though that I gain very easily when I eat out to much. So I try to limit it to about 3 times a week. Hubby just said the burgers on the grill are ready. Got to run! Susie |

Good morning,
I've got my gym bag packed and ready to go for a lunch time workout. I won't be able to work out tonight because it's "Chick Flick" night at the local movie theater. A bunch of us gals go the first Monday of every month. I don't want to miss a workout this week so I'm doing it at lunch. My workout partner is meeting me there so I know I'll get it in. I'm hoping for a quiet day at work. I'm a bit sleepy this morning and not with it. How's everyone else doing? Susie |

What an enjoyable weekend, however yesterday, for some reason I had no energy and just wanted to lay around and sleep. For the most part I did, except when BF came over and we went for a motorcycle ride. I am still exhausted today, and son has ANOTHER game tonight. I just want to sleep. Don't feel like I did very good for the past several days on food, and due to football game tonight, I won't make it to WW. I really want to go, cause if it is a bad WI, I need the boost to do better. Maybe I will make it to another WI somewhere else in the week. Better get busy and concentrate on everything today, as tired as I feel, I may make mistakes. Have a great Monday..... Annie |

Great weekend. Went to our Fair.Made some salsa. Screamed at the kids and hubby for 20 min at the top of my lungs last night about how lazy they are with cleaning up after themselves.It felt great. Primal.Got them moving too. Food has been so much better. I still am getting too many bad carbs. Why does thta stuff taste so darn good. I am doing a "Keep the White Outa Sight" thing. No white, flour,sugar, lard....... keeping the bad fats out, good fats in. Just about to go to storytime. I have cleaners coming this aft to fall clean the kitchen. Love the Avon bonus Goddesses. |

Good afternoon everyone,
Please allow me to vent :mad: My youngest son is a very bright young man. In the 7th grade his reading comp was on a second year college level. He recieved 3 awards when he graduated. HE CAN'T KEEP A JOB!! He doesn't know it yet but it is about sink or swim time. I'm fed up. He's 27 and has lived at home since his divorce in 01. He'll work for a few months then quits with no good reason. :rollpin: Thanks I feel better. My eating has been fair. The guys wanted a big b-fast today I fixed it and ate my yogurt and went to curves. I'm an emotional eater so I'm having to be real careful. Holly: what a wonderful picture! I KNOW this will sound weird but I think I am lazy. I went to bed last night feeling lazy and unaccomplished.
For a reality check I started telling myself everything I did yesterday. The list is HUGE. This is why I journal. To keep perspective.I was only thinking of what didn’t get done. I watched TV from 9-10 and then read til 10:30 and went to sleep.I felt guilty about spending an hour online here yesterday morning. Thing is. I dont have any close friends in real life. I dont have a social life. I dont have a girl friend.My best friends are here. The people who seem to really like me and know me are here. I need to have something in my life besides kids and housework. There is just so much to do and I run out of time. When I take time for myself I feel bad about what doesn’t get done. It makes me sad that I had to hire cleaners to fall clean my kitchen. Yes, I used Avon bonus $$. Why is life so expensive that we need to work so much. Then it comes back to choices. I could have a “career” job and probably earn $60K a year. Then I wouldn’t be here for my family.Hubby is a carpenter. The $$ is not great. He works fulltime. He does help a bit around the house.He workd a 11 hour day of hard labour. He thinks I am nuts for doing housework at 10pm. Thing is, who is going to do it? AND it is never done. I have filing and paperwork to do too.For both sitting and Avon. I still need to can the salsa. I need to eat mindfuly and exercise more. I need to call the media guy. I need to nurture myself. I need to be tougher on my 5 YO boys here. They were wild and destructive yesterday. It takes a LOT of energy to keep them under wraps. Kids have arrived. DS needs to get ready for school. OH, he will have hockey practise every freakin Monday from 4:30-6. WHAT!!!!! Stupid. His coach picked him up from school. 2 mom’s were late getting their kids here. I took 1 with me and raced to the rink. DS was starving and exhausted. 6 kids today. NO PLANS tonight but delivering Avon books. the kids will help. They LOVE to help. They will each pick 1 thing from the catologue at Christmas for helping. HUGS!! |

7AM-cuddle in bed with kids, talk about life ,the universe and everything(done) -coffee(done) -journal(done) -kids fed(done) -pack lunch(done) -DS on the bus( in 10 min) -OP breakfast -shower -clean cat litter -gather garbage -fold laundry -call media guy -do 2 loads of wash -sweep down steps -vacuum upstairs -Avon book keeping -clean top of fridge( they missed it) -do dishes -tidy toys -snack lunch -provide stimulating things for kids to do 1PM- sit down with tea and an OP lunch and watch All My Children( probably fold more laundry) |
Holly: I need a break just reading what you've done already today. I sure wouldn't feel guilty needing a little help. You give 100% to your family. Right now you might have thoughts of working outside the home but you are doing the right thing. I worked all my kids life and my sister never worked she even homeschooled her boys. Mine are disfunctional and 1 of hers is in senior year in college and the other is in his second and both are doing great. As you read from last night my youngest is a goof off. I regret working. Like they say hindsight is 20-20.

I made it to curves and really worked up a sweat. I had one of the best workouts in a while. The new owner stays right there talking to you and it goes so fast.
Holly: I know what your saying. Dusting is the one thing that gets put off the most because I have gotten so many little dust catcher. I truly hate dusting . I collected 305 shot glasses when we were on the road thats not counting all the steins, pilshners ect... What a nightmare. I don't want to get rid of them but I'm really tired of washing them. We built a bar to display them and we might drink 2-3 times a year now. |

It's been a very busy day, but I was determined to get here. With the stress today I've not overate. I almost did at lunch but I talked myself out of it. I mean, really, what would stuffing myself accomplish. I'm worried about the stress. I've read that it can add weight to you even if you don't overeat. Any ideas or comments on that? Susie |

I'm just waiting for the biggest loser to start. Laundry all done and put away. Dinner fixed and kitchen cleaned. Dh and ds1 have gone to work and ds2 is fixing the lawn mower. AAHHH... PEACE AND QUITE. Susie: I strongly believe stress has major negative effect on our bodies. I've read several articles about how it can effect your well-being. Physical as well as mental. They all say exercise helps. Just always remember to do your "ME TIME" exercises. (((HUG))) Annie : :) Hope you had a great day. I have my weekly WI tomorrow. :crossed: |
