Legally- I think it is to give us another reason to hate them

Jenn, How true that is!! (Or so it's feeling right now!!!)

Morning Ladies....
Welcome to all the newbies.......Great place, wouldn't want to live without knowing I could come here for support. Welcome back Legally B. We missed you. Dad is doing great, still grouchy, but has always been on the negative grouchy side. hehe I am feeling much better, have a sinus headache now. pound, pound, pound at each peck of the keyboard. yikes.... Went to a 7 hour CPR/First Aid training class on Saturday. I am now certified (a certified nut). Work paid for it as I am on the Office Safety Team. Susie. I have been on a free for all for about 3 weeks now. Wasting time with this weight goal thing. Very dissappointed with myself. I AM STARTING A NEW DAY TODAY! Cannot go to WW for a while, had to make a college payment for DD, pretty much wiped me out for a bit. Really tightening up the $$ now. I do plan on trying this on my own. Still will go to Curves. Plan on going M,W&Th, at lunch with buddy from here at work. I need a boost in the bum. At least no gains so far, however struggling to stay the same. THIS IS MY DAY, I CAN DO THIS, I WILL DO THIS. WE CAN DO THIS, WE WILL DO THIS. Holly - your weekend sounded wonderful. I love working outside. Debbie - I agree with falling off the wagon, then getting right back on. Today is a new day. Best get busy, have a terrific day all. (((HUGS))) Annie |
Annie - I feel your pain (the sinus pain that is)... I can barley use my nose at all! Thanks for the welcome, I know how great this site is because I came here daily when I was losing weight before.
And you are right, WE WILL DO THIS! As for me I saw my first drop on the scale this morning down a pound! I'm totally pumped for the gym this morning now! |
Hello,
I was able to get through yesterday with no more sugar. I threw the cupcakes in the trash. It helped to do that. I've been drinking a ton of water to get that sugar out of there! I'm going to be out of town at a conference on Tueday and Wednesday. I'll try to post on Wednesday when I get home. If not, I'll talk to you all on Thursday. I'm going to take my food journal and feeling journal with me and use the time that I will have in the evenings to write more in them, and to read my magazines and catch up on things like that. I will have to be careful with the food but the good thing is that I'll only have access to what they have for us and that's it. I know I can stay on plan and I'm planning to succeed. Looking forward to seeing you all when I get back. Debbie: I'm a 42 D too! I like being a chesty gal, but not to big...how nice of your friend to bring you some new bras....I went out and bought a red one when I got to this size. I've been staying right at 42 D (I have myself measured about every 10 lbs lost), so I guess they are all mine. Susie |
Good morning everyone,
I just got back from curves. I had a great workout. I Feel great today. B-yogurt, applesauce LB: DH has drove a truck all our marriage. We always said when our kids were grown I'd go with him. My youngest turned 18 and graduated all in may 1997. I couldn't just sit there and do nothing so learned to drive. 6 1/2 years and 100 lbs later, we decided it was about to kill us. DH bp was uncontrollable. It would shot way up. Since we quit he's lost 40lbs and is now in a very lowdose bp meds. Susie: :carrot: Good job throwing out the cupcakes. I hope You enjoy you conference. Taking your journal will really help you stay op. Remember to pack your walking shoes. Maybe there someplace nice to walk close. Jenn: CONGRATS!! :cp: 1 pound gone forever. Annie: It's a wonderful day to start fresh. If you have anyone with the WW info copy it and do it at home yourself. I choose to do it online because its $16.90 mo I think of it as 4.25 a wk and I would spend that on something anyway. It's great your going to get to keep going to curves. |
Hidee Ho.
Debbie - I have all the stuff for WW. I had been going up till a couple of weeks ago. SO I am good to go, with NO excuses! I, too am a 42D. He have some ladies with good size chubs in this group. hahahah Annie |
Debbie, How neat!! My husband just started driving... and it's actually been the best thing for him *lol* He's lost 40 pounds since starting!! Although I think a good chunk of it is that he new that just sitting in a truck all day he'd gain a TON of weight if he ate like he was eating...so he keeps his mini fridge stocked with veggies, drinks nothing but water and tries to walk daily!

Hubby and kids puttered.I ran an errand. They went skating. I laid on ther futon in the sun wiht the kitties. Put away some laundry. Laid on my bed and watched Alias. Made a meal to make my Oma proud. I have been drooling over kapusta ever since a friend mentioned it. Did an extras load of wash tho cause DS peed in his hockey gear. LOL! |
Just woke up and I need a nap.
It was a good day and volunteering in DD’s class was dreamy.Hockey was okay. I ended up with a splitting headache after. I think from the weather system that is here today. DH was home and making himself a sandwich for his supper. He didn’t remember where we were. I asked him to do sandwiches for everyone and he gladly did(exciting). Grilled cheese and tomato soup. I cut up some orange pepper. DD kept asking, why is Daddy making supper. She was quite worried about it. I dont think they have ever seen this phenomenon before. Food and water was good. The missing part is obviously extra exercise. I honestly dont know where to fit it in. I am tired today. There is lots to do. A quiet day with daycare for a Tuesday but a crazy busy evening. DS has hockey pictures at 5 and then then we are going to the literacy program at the school at 6:30. I will pack a picnic supper for in the van whilst travelling between. Since it is a rainy day I might just putter at cleaning and put away fall decoratons and put out some Christmas ones for this Sunday. I want it to be nice and festive and I am not really getting the time. I need Martha’s team to delegate to!!! I need to decide on side dishes for the turkey dinner. Any ideas?? These are simple folk. One year I made homemade creamed corn and they were horrified. LOL! Needing a hug today chicks and a blast of energy. |
Hi everyone,
Wow Holly It must be something in the air. I've done 2 lds of laundry and barely made it thru curves. I'm dragging. I was just thinking maybe a nap might help. I even remembered my vitamins today. Good thing.. B-yogurt, applesauce, oj My family eat so simple that I don't have anything exciting to do for thanksgiving. They complain if I change up too much...boring LB- Dh and I drove as a team and the truck ran pretty much 24/7. We didn't get time to walk often enough to do any good. We would go 3-4 days without a sit-down meal. Living off what ever fast food one of could get while the other fueled the truck. We had a fridge in our truck but we would let ourselves run out of stuff and not get time to stop. Some of it was our fault. But most weeks we drove 6000-6500. You know what.. I miss it bad. I miss the sun rises and sun sets. Sound like your hubby has a good plan. |
Holly, it sounds like you're running EVERYWHERE!!! I bet the holiday season just makes you busier
Deb, my DH wants us to run team, but since I've never even been inside a truck I don't know about that  As soon as his training is up (Jan 1 actually) I will ride-along with him and see what I think of it!! But I hear running team is running constantly, and I don't know that I'd like that! Well ... my exercise is going great! An hour on the treadmill every day for the last 3 days!! (Ok, I lied...today has only been 40 minutes but I fully intend on doing another 20 minutes either on the treadmill or just on the bike tonight!!) As for food...I can't seem to stop eating junk *sigh* It's like the lasagna I had for lunch just jumped onto my plate!! Any tips for avoiding eating junk?? |
My energy level is up some. I think I'm going to get out my WATP and see if I have enough energy to do it. I took a nap, got up and had a cup of chocolate coffee. I love the stuff.
B-yogurt, applesauce,oj L- OMG... 4 fried chicken strips, ff and gravy and a slice of texas toast. D- dry salad. After that lunch I need to do some kind of exercise. Dh finally went back to work. These 4 day w-ends are a killer. Glad they only come around every 10 weeks...LOL. LB- Who is dh driving for? I really didn't relize how much work it was. But I loved getting to see everything. Hope everyone is well :grouphug: |
Susie - Good work throwing out the cupcakes, some times the best way to avoid temptation is to get rid of it altogether. I hope you are having a good conference!
Debbie - Thanks for the 'applause'! It is a great motivator when you start to see results! Glad to hear your energy is up! Lunch isn't too bad because of your choice for dinner...at least you are compensating for the plurge on lunch. I hope you had fun walking away the pounds! ;) Annie - You girls can count me out of that club... If you all made a small donation maybe I'd have something to brag about in that department as well  Holly - :goodvibes There you go! ;) Sounds like you are keeping yourself on your toes... Always on the goes! My little bro played hockey from the time he was 3, so I know well enough that that equipment can smell enough on it's own...without the pee  As far as side dishes go I would stay away from candied yams if you frightened them with creamed corn.... We have a huge family so there is always too much stuff, but there's cranberry sauce, turnip, mashed potatoes, sweet potaoes and of course, the stuffing every year. LB - I find the best way to avoid eating junk is not keeping any in the house... Whenever I crave it, I try to have a glass of water or tea and do something else so I get it off my mind... Good job on the exercising this week! Keep it up! I have been doing great on my food and water. I had a great workout yesterday, but today is my off day for the weight circuit and I didn't do anything else... I did however take the little girl I watch to the mall and walk around for an hour or so. Tomorrow I am doing the circuit again. Now I need to go start dinner as hubby is going to be home any minute - oops! |
Debbie, I love WATP!!! I left mine in Colorado though *bummer* (I'm in my hometown in Nebraska with my family for the holidays...) Hubby is driving for Shaffer (A division of Crete Carrier, out of Nebraska...) refrig vans. He loves it so far :)
JEO, I don't have it in the house...here's the real kicker...I actually leave the house and drive for it!!! Yes... I drove 30 miles into town for Lasagna today... I've done REALLY good on my snacking today though :) I'm proud of that! I had an apple and some celery for my snacks rather than cookies and chips!!! So that's a big plus :) Since my hubby is home for the next 2 days, I'll be spending tonight cuddling with him! Which usually involves junk food... we'll just have to rule that one out!! |
