And "honey" would have been even worse. Ugh!! I've sort of blown it a bit today too. Details to follow.

Oatmeal w/2% milk
Lofat yogurt
BOWL of cauliflower, broccoli, carrots
Whole wheat toast w/ very little apricot preserve
Slimabear
Walnuts (more than I should have)

Dinner will be ham and salad. Then there will be more, probably.

I know the walnuts are good for one in moderation but I'm pretty sure I exceeded moderation. Will not be beating me up though because they're such an occasional item in my diet and it wasn't like I ate the whole bag or anything (1# bags - too much for even me). May abate my pb cravings for a while.

No real exercise other than walking in grocery store where I stalwartly resisted buying delicious muffins when I entered that dangerous area to pick up two donuts for dh. sob.

This is a repost because of course I messed something up.

And "honey" would have been worse. Ugh!! A dulce la leche moment to be sure. I've done some off plan eating too. Details to follow.

oatmeal w/2 % milk
2 viactivs
lofat yogurt
BOWL of cauliflower, broccoli, carrots
whole wheat toast (1) w/very little apricot preserve
pb cup ice cream
WALNUTS (while I know they're good for one in moderation, I think I exceeded moderation but will not be beating me up because it wasn't all that many and I so seldom do add them to my diet - may even abate my pb craving)
ham and broccoli slaw w/only a little lite dressing
Sliver of carrot cake

Passed up some delicious looking muffings today while in grocery store picking out donuts and a carrot cake for dh. Store was my only exercise today. sob

Anagram, I can't find that freakin' pb cup lite ice cream anywhere!!!! It would have saved me today, even though it's not BFL!

I'm still going to post the damage tonight! It's really, really high but I feel great about my choice to have the extra today (lots of extra)!!!! :coffee:

anagram 04-08-2004 08:15 PM

I don't see that flavor very often either. When I do, I grab it unless I've just finished off a carton. It saves me often.

Myoplex Lite bar 190

And MUCH more ...

Calories? Your guess is as good as mine.

What's really funny about this day is that I was only really satisfied with the salmon meal and I am still craving the salmon, so if I'd had a double portion of that, the whole bad eating evening wouldn't have happened.

I just watched PBS' Frontline "Diet Wars" that Suzanne mentions in the announcements and it was really a good outline of how our society has come to this place regarding weight-related disease ... and it seemed to reach the same conclusion I have about the best way to eat and how important it is to get and keep the weight off.

So I'm going to just keep on doing it, regardless of the slipups! Avanti, guys!

Ceara emerges from the fog....(see details on Bunny Trail). :coffee:

She has no clue about what she has eaten in the past week. Certainly no time to cruise kitchen for nibblies or sweeties. Too stressed. Also only walked for 2 days sometime before last Friday. I think. Tongue constantly feels coated...either I am sick, or the water change here is affecting me. There is an open cantaloupe in the fridge...which was breakfast yesterday, tuna stuffed pita w/ lite Hellmann's, onion and romaine for lunch, and a potluck for dinner...a modified Seder meal at the church...where I was quite circumspect I believe...no sweets, jellos or pastas...just meat and salad.

Oh and multitudinous :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: in there somewhere.

I must be sick!!!!

Or just not hungry!!!

I'm sick!!!!! I'm never NOT hungry....although this lack of desire is kinda nice.

Am off now to investigate that cantaloupe for brekkie now....

Ta-Rah....fogs and mists are lifting! And many posts to read I see!

Yo!!! Great work on the concert, WN!!! That's a good example of what IMO everyone should do (me included) ... seize the day and enjoy life whilst we may!

Eydie, the spinach-onion pizza sounds delicious ... spinach is so good. I hated it as a kid because no one ever gave me anything but the limp, awful canned stuff ... it was years before I discovered fresh spinach existed and that it also made a great cooking ingredient!! There used to be a restaurant in one of the historic towns in my area (it was in the building where they filmed the movie Murphy's Law) and the woman who owned it (it's sold now) made wonderful egg salad with fresh spinach in it. It was to die for! Congrats on a good day!!!

Ceara, IMO vacuuming Chinese beetles (whatever they are) sounds highly strenous and definitely counts as exercise!!! Thou art intrepid!!! :cp:

Adding 40 min. yoga to my exercise report ... total 115 minutes ... feel very relaxed doing the Wae Lana tapes at night.
