Ok...I'm finished reading everyones post, including you Susan!!

Today was busy this morning. I ran around. Stopped in at Michaels. I didn't get any punches there only because the bucket of them were gone!! And I couldn't find the glue dots, and ended up calling Shanna AFTER I've already left to ask where in the world did she find them!? So I only picked up $3 worth of paper! We have the same deal as Cristi, 5/$1. I should have grabbed more, but there were some PUSHY ladies and women w/little kids just screaming and running up and down the aisles!! Has anyone taught their kids some manners?? Then......I went over to Wal-mart which is right next door to Michaels and bought some good stuff. A small plastic drawer set to put my stuff in, a matt to cut on, some more glue, and a set of punches (bugs!). I had fun. I could have gone crazy and lost all my money in the checking account. It was like I was in a Casino and needed to keep spending!! $$$$$$

Jana--So glad to hear your OP (ON PROGRAM---SUSAN!! ) And that you have a very supportive family.

Cristi--(and Jana since you mentioned this too) My old e-mail name is Craftywoman and when I switched internet......(I'm at a loss for the name) I couldn't use the same one and so I chose the one that I have because at the time, I wasn't doing much. Strange isn't it?

Angie--I love the idea you have for the room! The curtains sound fun! Get a photo of that if you can and post it. I would like to see how it all turns out.

Shanna--Hey...where have you been?? No energy to post? My goodness girl...I have got to do something about you.

Susan--I agree with Shanna...maybe the west coast girls can meet up about the same time the east coast girls do. (That includes you too Katie!! )Angie...you're just going to have to choose. But I guess since you already made a commitment with the east side...you best go!

Hello to Kayecee,Katie and Carree....and anyone I may have missed. I need to get going... I'm struggling with one of my powerpoint presentations. It's not looking the way I'm wanting it to.

Take Care
Marti

BTW...has anyone tried emailing Kayecee? I did last night and got a return mail notice!! I hope all is ok......

Id call Kaycee but the time change would make italmost minight...nothing goo ever comes from calling or getting a call at midnight.

Ok so today I watched the Rock (Scorpian King) and hand sewed Tanners cushions...both are done. So now I need to paint his room and all is well. Don't ask me why,,,but I bought paint for my room? Not Tanners...My room will be gold...so as a thought Im going to paint Tanner's closet and door/trim. Just to ad more color since everything seems to be blue. He has no clue yet what Im doing in there...lol
I read up on paint washing...so know I can do my bedroom. Monte hates the way the semi gloss shows every imprefection in the drywall...and I painted my office this pinky color and it shows...so Im going to wash the walls in here too...lol Ill get Brandon to take pics of befores and afters.
Well I should get going....

Default hello!

Ahhh...home at last...

Susan - "OP" means "on program" -- it means Jana's been diligent and has been sticking to her eating plan (ah...just saw that Marti answered that one for ya!) It's good that your girls live so close. My 17 year old has a girlfriend now, and all the busy stuff that teenagers have to do, Senior year and all. My 13 year old gets a bit resentful when his brother needs to leave early on the weekend and the visit gets cut short, so I'm trying to spend extra time with him whenever I can. Mike wants to spend Valentine's evening with his girlfriend, so I have to take them home early on Saturday...maybe I'll take Noah out to dinner or a movie or something since Tim won't even be home from work until almost midnight.

Jana - I just gotta get creative about how I present it to DH. He loves rice -- I could probably get away with 3 stir-fry dinners in a week before he would complain. Just do chicken or lean beef, tons of veggies, and change the seasonings a bit. Wonder if I could get him to try brown rice? If not, I'd just have to make two different kinds of rice -- not as bad as making two different meals Lunches are an issue for me -- and totally my fault. I am not a morning person, and never seem to be able to get my act in gear and make something for lunch in the morning, always running out the door at the last possible minute hoping I haven't forgotten anything! Definitely something I need to change.

Shanna - Good to see you again! Yeah, I pop on every night and morning (one of the reasons I'm running late in the mornings, hmm?) but don't always have time to post...or even know where to begin! Yeah, Hubby the Technogeek was a bachelor until he was 29, then came out here to CA to be with me...and I was like, oh you poor underfed man! Nobody's been taking care of you! And you know, I am one heckuva cook. So - my fault - I really spoiled him. I had just lost about 40 lbs when he moved out here, but you know....you get comfy...and slip back into those old bad habits... And so now, I'm trying to make some changes, but it's hard. And I know the midnight suppers are killer! He won't be working these hours much longer, and hopefully wherever his new job is it will be more normal hours and we can eat at a decent time. And I don't think it's intentional, but he does tempt me, like your boyfriend tempts you - here have a beer, let's get pizza, share this candy with me... Get thee behind me, husband!

Angie - ok....I'm trying and trying, but I just can't picture your red-and-white-striped-yellow-daisy bathroom. It sounds like it would be so cute! Will you post a picture when you are done?

Cristi - Hang in there...moving sometimes feels like going through labor, doesn't it? All that exhausting work, and it feels like it will never be over. But it will! And very soon you will have a brand new bouncing baby...house?!? Well, I THOUGHT I knew where that analogy was going...but you get the idea, right?

Marti - Actually, your comments ARE helpful. I just have to be creative and pick the right items off the FT lists to make something that looks like a normal meal If I do it right, maybe he won't even notice! I make new stuff and try new recipes all the time anyway. But I think I will avoid serving him the cottage cheese/almond/blueberry combo for supper... And you're right -- it would only be for 1-2 weeks...just to sort of kick start my metabolism...

Kayecee - come baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack...we miss you!

Well everyone, laundry and dishes await me. Hope I didn't miss anybody. Thanks to everyone who sent Valentines - they've been so fun to open! I'm really glad I found this group. You guys are awesome

G'night ladies...sweet dreams....

That is sweet Katie, Good Night & sweet dream to you to.

Thanks to Marti & Katie, now I know what OP means.I am kind of curious what DH means.I know it is a husband but what is the D for?? Duh Husband??

Anyway, I can be sassy at times, just probably shouldn't be with people I am just meeting, probably think I am a brat or something?? Will, I am....lol.

Sometimes,not all the time.

Anyway......me,me,me,me,me,........

Speaking of me.........now that you ask.....lol

I am going to get Gabrielle now and come back home and go to sleep.

Tomorrow is payday!!! All the 5/$1 has gotten me excited! So, we go buy sheets and put pictures on them?? How do we put them in the album?? And where do you buy an album at?? Is Stamping easier?? I would love to make St Pat cards, that would be fun.

You are so awesome Angie!! Can't believe you are painting rooms......

So, I best go.......(and the crowd started cheering!!!!) ........hey they are drinking.....I want one!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY tomorrow!!!!

Susan

Well of coarse,,, I'm back....didn't think I would just go and not pop back in tonight did you?? (Wouldn't you all be surprised if something ever happened to my computer?! I know I would!)<--I will perish that thought!!

Anyway....I just got finished watching the "Extreme Makeover" still wanting to have one done! Get the works you know. There are things that happen on there that I haven't thought of and then think....."Hey! I want that too!"

Katie--Always good to see you pop in!! And with a long post at that!! Why can't hubby have Cottage cheese with all the toppings? Treat it as dessert. He'll never know that difference!! I'm like you, I'm so glad that I've found this place. The encouragement on my bad days (and I've had few!) and the chitchat and support & advice every one gives me....really helps me! Plus, I love having "pen-pals" as, Susan was it?,,,, said before.

Susan--I bumped up the Acronym thread. You'll find all that you want to know. And maybe you might be able to add to it!! Also, scrapbooking....for some reason I thought you did it too....but if you're really curious, go look at the scrapbook thread and check out our pictures. Give you idea's.

Speaking of which---(did you really think I was going to NOT talk about scrapbooking?) ----I've been taping the DIY scrapbooking and I was watching it earlier and I even tried one of the ideas!! OMG!!! I love the way it turned out! And it was sloppy!!!! Imagine if I really took time and did it properly!! I had too much glue and my cuts aren't really straight but by golly....it looks mah-velous!!

I have to say......my meals today were down right bad. For breakfast James stopped at McDonalds and I ordered a breakfast burrito meal. Only ate the burritos, gave James the hashbrown (I hate those) and spilled my OJ getting out of the car. Then......nothing else until 9:00 when I finally decided to pop some popcorn, ate two handfuls and was through. Which tells me, that TOM is just around the corner!! Anytime TOM is coming,,,,I totally lose my appetite. Wish it would last the whole month every month!! (the lost of appetite that is!!)
Tomorrow I must eat something.

Ok....I need to get to bed in the next half hour....but for now...off to clean up my scrapbook mess.....

Nighty night!!!!

Marti
