I have just found out something new about using a font, I know, I am an ignoramus at IT wizardry....I didn't realise you could "o.k." the button on the prompt and then write it as normal in this box....do you know what on earth I am rambling about? Hee hee!!!! Don't know where my attachment went to.....!!

This morning I got up with the chickens so I guess it's Happy's DH's turn!!! JURY DUTY!! THE POOR THING!!! I tell them I pee in my pants and need an attendant. They don't want diapers in the courtroom!! Good thing they haven't checked or asked for a Dr's note!! My Dr would never tell that lie for me! It sounded like a good dinner to me too Happy!! MmmmmmBBQ! Also.... If I had known what antibiotics could do I would never have taken them like candy the way the Dr's handed them out. Who'd a thunk they were wrong?? I have taken as few other meds as possible cause a wise old Dr said " what will you take when you are 50?"... and I'm glad I paid attention. Too bad he didn't know about the other pills!

Teel~I did go and have a good cry and this morning wondered why I let myself go around the deep bend. This is just one more hill to climb and I better just get on with it!!! ;lol: Hope the meds are giving you some relief and are getting rest!!! Good luck with the pool and it sounds delightful!!!

Shaker~ I wish I had a magic wand and could wave you a new dress in the style and color most flattering for you and FOR FREE!!! I'm so sorry to hear about the cost. It's hard enough making ends meet with a family let alone wasting it on stuff that does not make you happy. Your only reward will be that the bride will be happy and I hope she appreciates everyone!!

Hello laides and happy friday to all..!!! now I have a photo of my dress and me in it but it is to large to put on the site so I will figure out where to put it and do a link ro something flash liek that.. might be waiting a while though as I am not good with the stuff!! The dress is baby blue-hoo... it isn't to much my sister says it is a just a bit of nothing not flattering and not ugly she says.. but my hair I had coloured b4 Xmas as I am normally a dark blonde and I had it done copper with blonde highlights at the front so the copper doesn't go well with the dress so I will go back to being blonde and get rid of it. just a golden blonde though not white or yellow.

Teel the pool sounds great, and how do you drag and drop the smilieys??.. I have to type in the whole word all the time, hence my lack of smilieys all the time cause I can't be bothered!!

I am working tomorrow morning and then off to do kid stuff I suppose.. DH had his last night shift last night so that is good, am tired cause I don't sleep to well when he is out prowling around catching crims in the dark!! It is gone real cold here, it is fine and sunny but the temp is still down and we will be stuggling to hit the 20 mark I think!!! DS has got a b/day party on Sat at the local pools.. not heated either so that will be a bit nippy!! DD has got a party too but hers is in a big indoor playground so might be able to just drop them both off and go find the material I need for my should cover for the dress. Well I think I have realised that if things cannot get better they can get a darn sight worse For about a month now I have been getting what I can only describe as "nerve twitching" in both hands and in and around my eyes. Also as you all know my weight has been sky rocketing so I no longer fit into the heart transplant bracket. Things felt SO bad this morning that I went to ask the pharmacist what she thought all this nerve jumping might be put down to, if anything. It seems that the pill I am taking for my back pain does have the potential side effect of "involuntary muscle movement" and the other pain killer for the chest pain that was doubled about a month ago may cause weight gain. What am I supposed to do??? The pills don't seem to be having any effect on the back pain...indeed I am in agonies today so I am thinking what is the use of putting all this chemical into my body and enduring the side affects if the darn thing is not doing it's job anyway. I give in. Answers on a postcard please. I managed to get a G.P. appointment this evening...this is a miracle!!!! I wonder what he will say. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!
Shaker...usually if I left click on a smilie it magically transfers itself to the place on the post where I have left the cursor. I'm certainly not a IT goodness me, I could never insert so many smilies in a post if I had to write it out in full, as it were!! Now about that bridesmaids dress...I love baby blue colour but I do think a whole outfit i.e. a dress is a bit much on an adult. A baby blue scarf, yes, certainly, or a soft, cashmere jumper, yes please, but not a dress.

I am looking forward to getting in that jacuzzil on Tuesday in LAFitness. It is reportedly really warm ..so much in fact that it turns itself off after 7 minutes, has 7 minutes rest and then on it goes again. OOOOOOOOH LOVELY!!!!

I went to the school family picnic last night, DH went to the station for a few bevvy's.. good family we are!!.. didn't matter much anyway the kids had a nice time and I sat and chatted with our new neighbours for most of the time, realised I have been a bit lacking in my nieghbourhood spirit especially since they are new to the city and haven't got many friends.. they are very strong people though she reckons joining the PTA helps her to meet people.. I think it just means more work less fun So I will try and remember to ask her out more when I go places with the kids and stuff.

I had a very bad sleep and somehow the alarm got turned off so I slept in and was about 30mins late for work.. so I hope things go slowly today, DD had a bad dream and woke me up about 1am and I was very restless sleeping, I always find if I have to get up early the next morning I am forever waking up wondering what time it is!!!

So after work I am off to take the kids to their parties then will try and find some material for the dress.. money is very low this month but don't have much choice it has to get bought, fingers crossed it is cheap!! Then will try to relax tonight and tomorrow have a nice day at home.. it is fine so far although cloudy but no in the forecast. DH has 2 games of softball to play but it is too far away so won't bother going to watch. So hope you have a lovely time on the river Shad and have a good w/end all..

Well I hardly know what to say. Sorry but that is all I seem to have done this evening.
The GP had no choice but to lower the chest pain-killer as I said I thought the nerve twitching was harder to bare at the moment than the weight gaining. So the total for that pill is one 1/4 less as from now. I am finding it very impossible to cope with the back pain anyway so goodness only knows what life is going to be like on less. I have just spent 1/2 hour in bits on the fone to a friend. The dr. said try remember that life and the pain has been better to cope with before now and you can get to that again...I must persevere. Told him I didn't think I could do that just at this moment in time. I want to give up persevering. I am totally sick of it. And the weight gain is just the straw that broke the camels back. Like you all, I have worked so dammed hard to lose 31lbs. Now I have a loss of 15. Not even still in the critical margin for a heart transplant. I HATE HATE HATE having to live with is. Please don't remind mme at least I have not got a cancerous terminal illness to cope with. I know. I don't know how people do cope in that scenario. I don't think I could.

When in doubt, go back to work and get the mind off your troubles. I did just that and earned a few hundred to pay bills! I am delighted and mailed the bill $$$ out already so I wouldn't change my mind and spend it. The girls gave me an early and cakeless BD surprise party. We all had seltzer with ice!! They gave me gift certificates and arranged for my name to be on Monday's Mall shopping list for the bus. My tear ducts were working very well today!! The maint. men will be glad their easy going boss will be back on Monday and I will be gone Poor guys are exhausted!! I am feeling like the old Mel again and thank God I snap back rather fast. Feels good to be me again!!

Teel I am so sorry you are feeling so bad at the moment. I don't really know what to say to cheer you up. No doubt winter is also causing some of your problems and spring is just around the corner - hope it helps. I have received your emails but can't open them at the moment. I'll try again when I get home and let you know. I wonder if the concoction of tablets you are taking is causing some of the problem. Hard to say and I would definitely hesitate to say stop the lot and reintroduce gradually. Maybe the sauna/spa may help too. Probably the worst thing is the not sleeping. No one feels real good with night after night of broken sleep

Today was the first time I've been to the gym in a week. We have been working too hard!! The hotel I was at had a gym but only weight stuff. The treadmill is permanently out of order. So I found the gym today at Bunbury - another branch of the one I belong to in Brisbane and spent an hour there. Its a big and well equipped gym too. Huge heated pool and spa. Might try the pool later in the week.

Ihave been cooking all morning and made chili, rice, more chicken stew, a big salad and boiled a dozen eggs this time without setting the house on fireor the alarms off! I stayed up ;ast night and plugged all my Ionic Breeze air-purifiers in and watched their little lights glow. that was the extent of my Friday night! I think the house does smell better and I did have a good nights sleep but it could be coincidence. I am off to clean the dreaded bathroom and then this PC center. The desk looks like a paper recycle factory!! Have a wonderful weekend, rain or shine!

DH and I had a lovely anniversary dinner last night - I only ate 1/2 my appetizer and entree (will have the rest for lunch today) and we split a dessert. I did however drink down both of my mixed drinks and ate my entire side salad. He bought me a dozen gorgeous roses - 6 reds and 6 whites with a beautiful pink edging. What a nice guy! After dinner we came home and watched a movie. A nice evening.

Today it's back to the grind, I have alot of cleaning I want to get done this weekend and I need to buckle down on the homework.

Sorry to hear you have the sniffles Shad, hope you are feeling better - get some extra sleep over the weekend to fight off the germs. I have more to say but it will have to wait until later - would be very easy to blow away the day on the computer and I can't have any of that.

Hi there, well sun night already my how the time fly's!! We had the most beautiful sunny day today, reminded me of summer!! So feel a bit more refreshed now and only a 4 day week for me. I found some organza to match the dress and have got that at the dressmakers and she is sewing it all up for me so I hope that will work. I have decided not to worry about it Shad all that money, makes me want to cry really but I will get over it and I didn't tell DH as he would be peeved too.

Tell sorry you are down in the dumps I hope you manage to get back up again sometime somehow!!! Are you entering to summer weather now?

Had a good week OP and will go with mil to ww tomorrow whicih will be good I am hoping to lose the fe grams I put on but all y clothes are looser again so that is what couns mainly.

There is nothing worse than having a summer cold or flu. I hope you get to the Margaret River..I think I have seen a cookery programme filmed on a chef on a boat on the river...so if there are no fish in the water, you know that Chef has cooked them all!

Made my mouth water to thing of all those wonderful meals....ooooh which reminds me I need to get something out of the freezer to do something with for tonights dinner or I'll be getting on the first flight out to your place !!!
