Today, i am a little lighter in the pocket book and a little heavier on the scales. I lost a few dollars in poker games and the ribs were so good!!!
Yesterday 0 points for me.
3 points so far for today, no exercise
As far as the poll goes I would love to find a nice warm place , camp out and fish, I love to fish. Nothing is more peaceful than sitting by a nice camp fire by the lake. Can't wait for spring to get here.
Well , guess I will go sit with dh and watch a little of the Super Bowl. Don't want to miss out on the commercials or halftime.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.

POINTS POINTS POINTS POINTS:

Julie
Joy
Amanda
Me

EXERCISE QUEENS:

Julie for allowing the heck to be beaten out of her!
Amanda
Me treadmill and weight machines

Hope everyone is having a good superbowl time. I hate football so I am definitely not watching it, but tv overall is boring. We both ate like pigs today, breakfast, lunch and dinner so I will have to bust my butt tomorrow and clean up my act. Never hurts to have a fun day now and then, but I am focused on that wedding/vacation and need those lbs to COME OFF!

I have another WTG. Jack took me shopping this weekend at Super Target and for the first time in 30 years I bought pants there that fit. I have never been able to buy pants at any stores but ones designed for large women like Lane Bryant or Catherines and even at those stores last year at this time I couldn't buy jeans, khakis or dress pants that zipped up the front. I also couldn't wear non-knit style pants. I bought a pair of zip up khakis and a rayon style pair of dress pants at Target. Woohoo, fat ladies stores, you will never see me darken your doors again!!!! I also bought two t-shirt and they were X-L and they fit. I am saving all this stuff for my vacation.

Everyone have a very nice evening and I will talk to you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies, haven't bee around much lately here. I am really struggling. I am using food for attention deficit, I am overeating to the point that I am uncomfortable most of the day. Tomorrow is my first mid-term, so wish me lotsa luck, i had a really hard time focussing on studying. My house is a mess, I can't make myself do much of anything. I have the winter blues. I am going to the doctor for a physical on tuesday, I am going to talk about these things for sure.

Till later, everyone just keep it up and remember to have fun.

I'm doing my best, trying to lighten up!

MONDAY: Today is Mission Monday and we continue our series How to Stop When you are Full. Today is Ask yourself how Full you are. If you have followed the other suggestions, mid-way through the meal, check yourself out and see, am I approaching being full, am I still ravenous, am I full on the way to being uncomfortable? Undereating is as bad as overeating, but it is important to listen to your body, NOT what your head says.

Kim: You need to keep checking in so we can give you encouragement to get over the blues and get back on track!

Talk later ladies!

Good Monday Morning Ladies!

Hey, it's above freezing here!!!! It's sunny and like, 34>..........I feel like it's summer!!!!! Gotta get me outside today!

Well, yesterday I got 3 points. Not enough water. Today it's back to 4s for me. I have figured out from the martial arts stuff this weekend that I just HAVE to start lifting heavy weights. I mean the really heavy ones. I don't want to freakin' "tone up".......I want to be STROOONNNGGGG like GORRRRILLLLAAA The funny thing about this weird sport of mine is that it's the guy/gal getting hit that decides if you hit them hard enough to beat them. It's all based on honor, and well some guys have more honor than others. Sometimes you have to just beat the livin' snot out of them until they are crumpled up on the floor before they will say "ok, you win" There were so many fights I could have won this weekend if I just had more strength.

Now, I know what this is going to do to the scale in the short term......so I'm going to try really hard not to weigh myself for about a month or so. Just gonna put the darn thing away. It's not worth the aggravation.

Ok, with that said.......it's time to go lift. I want to get 30 minutes of weights in and 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Faye---That is so amazing about the clothes! I bet you felt like a million bucks!!! WOO HOOO FOR YOU>>>>>

Talk to you soon,
Julie

Hello All -
Glad to hear that you all had good weekends..good job on the tourney Julie, and good job not giving in to the double whopper, I have never had a double whopper ( I am not a big meat person, so I stick with the single ) but it sounds very good at this point...anything does..ha

I had a good weekend I did have one "off OP" meal at Max and Ermas on Friday night, however I have not cheated on my diet since January 6, so I say once every 3 weeks I should be able to have one great meal...it was good, it was the Laredo Steak, sirloin sliced up thin with this cactus butter sauce and a loaded baked potatoe...it was good....hungry yet???
Sorry all

I have been really listening to my body as far as when I am full...It is really weird to get full from eating so little...

Amanda - Great job on the WW, keep it up...it is an easy plan to follow

KimmyAnn - Hope you start feeling better...take care...

Faye -WTG on the clothes, what size are you in now??

Happy Belated Birthday Dorothy !!!

Everyone have a great day, talk later....

Hi Friends!

4 points yesterday - did 30 mins on the exercise bike - yee ha!
It's my first weigh in tomorrow - I'm looking forward to it, although it is my TOM so that might well affect the reading. I'll let you know tomorrow! I've been totally on programme all week, so I DESERVE to lose weight - but we all know it doesn't always work like that does it?

I had a totally fun off day yesterday. I ate what I wanted, took the day off exercise and just relaxed with Jack.

As far as my clothes, I can wear anywhere from X-L to a 24 depending on what it is and how it is made. BUT, considering my suits were 34's and most of my clothes were 4X and 28's I will definitely take whatever fits that is smaller!

Was that Janet Jackson thing disgraceful or what? I didn't see it, but just on replays on the early morning shows etc this morning. I hope the FCC kicks both their butts for such a stunt and I don't care if MTV didn't know or not, they should be censored too. It will teach them a lesson to be responsible for their performers and what they do. Television has gotten so out of hand it is ridiculous. Matt Lauer was saying this morning that 40 years ago what shocked us was the hair of the Beatles (it is the 40th anniversary of their coming to America). Kids in school were afraid to chew gum now they carry knives and guns to school. People say the world has changed and we have to go with the flow, BOLOGNA! We continue on and we are going to destroy ourselves.

Well, I am going to go so have a good night all!

TUESDAY: Today is Target Tuesday. Our target this week is distinguishing self image from body image. I have always believed that the MOST important tool you have to losing weight is a good self image. YOU MUST be able to look at yourself inside and know that you are beautiful as you are, you are worth love, consideration, respect, etc from yourself and others. If you really want to succeed and then keep the weight off, you must be accepting of yourself. Your body image is simply that, what your body looks like. That is ALWAYS fixable. It is almost always hard work and takes determination, but nothing in life that is worthwhile is easy. This week, ponder on what YOUR self image is and how you can improve it and then use weight loss tools to improve your body image.

Today is clean the dd's house day so I will be gone all day. I will check in this afternoon and do points and such. Donna, I will get yours then too!

Have a great day ladies!

It is me the MIAer! Work has been getting the best of me lately! This week is a great week for me as I only have to pull 2 night shifts. More time with Corey! Really quick have to head to work. As for the poll I am going to go and pla BINGO! Then I am getting away for a weekend! Sounds good to me. As for the Janet Jackson thing. I watch it and didn't see it. Then again I am blind out of one eye and can't see out of the other. Also I only have a 27 in tv and was setting away from it. I think that the fcc should think before they do anything after all they have passed a law that they can say the f word. Think about it. I think that there are many children that have seen their parents bodies. I know that Corey will barge in while I am dressing at times and I have to run him out and explain about knocking. But there is really no lesser of 2 evils though. This whole world is going to heck in a handbasket. I have rambled on long enough. Have to run to work. Here's to a BLESSED DAY to everyone. I will catch up tonight that is ifin I dont have a heart attack over the ball game tonight.
