I am at my wits end with logan. He is officially enrolled in in-school suspension indefinately starting tomorrow. I don't know if he will even be allowed to go on his all day trip next tuesday. If not, that's $25 throwed away for nothing. This time the stories are conflicting. He was on the playground and a girl (courtney) was chasing heather who was (victim #1 and who is friends with logan). Anyway, when courtney ran past him, he jumped out to grab her pony tail or hair to stop her and when she turned around, she claims he touched her chest. This is getting so stupid if you ask me. I don't know if I should believe logan or what and I asked the principal was there ever an adult around to witness anything and they all say no but that other kids had the same story. I really think that it is crazy how 4 girls now are all "educated" on boys touching them. I think that it's a gang up on him and I told the principal so. He said he didn't really see it that way. He is going to have a school resource officer who is actually a cop to come in and talk to him. Well it may scare him but I doubt it. Logan loves attention and it doesn't matter what kind either. I do know I'm going to attempt to keep this from dh at least until the suspension is over. That is, unless brett or logan tell it themselves.

Rosey I hope your DH is having a better day today. It's almost been 2 weeks hasn't it? Were you surprised about matt rogers getting voted off lastnight on idol? I really wasn't. I thought he would have gone last week cause I liked Leah better than him. I thought it was so funny the way he sang to simon.

Summer that's great you guys have a new gig to play. That's "healthy" for you if you ask me. Something you both enjoy and not related to your health. Have loads of fun and good luck to getting lots more. How is bert and buddy doing? Have you had that app't to the general dr. yet to ask about some dieting advice? I can tell you one thing, don't weigh weekly. It will sicken you. I gained this week and it makes me angry.

Hi everyone..another beautiful day here..it was my dh b-day so i was up early cleaning as he had visiters all day..i gave him new "ugg"sheepskin lined slippers and some videos and an audio book.. his dd and family baked him a choc cake and gave him a fleece fuzzy robe.. his mom gave him an electric cuddle up blanket as hes always so cold..he got carda and phone calls all day..he liked the positive attention and it was nice not to be medically related..he also had a dr appt and had his staples out..hes sleeping now too much excitement :lol: mr ken.. i would love to have acup of coffee :coffee: with you or all of you for that matter on my deck..and if we sat really still the chicadees would land on us..dana.. am so sorry thats continuing with Logan..am sure you will get to the bottom of it..sounds like the girls are competing for Logans attentions and like the fact that he gets in trouble..i cant understand where the adult moneters(sp?) while these things are going on..if there was a problem before youd think they would be watching closer..thats pretty young to be putting labels on kids.. after all they are kids..hugs for you dana and hope it works out.. by the way i want to know how you did selling on e-bay??was it worth it as i want to get into it too..donna.. hope you are resting comfortably and in not to much pain..summer congrats on the gig friday..i didnt exercise today and ate all the wrong things.. i just feel out of sorts and my comfort is food :?: ..daphnee..what are you up too?? made anymore cards??Kris are you traveling?? busy studying??sheree how are you keep us posted if you can..well this cranky granny is going to watch skating and go to bed early..((((((((hugs for all)))))))) rosey :wave:

I am happy to say that this is the first day I did not have to take any of my pain pills. Only advil so that is good. I am able to type again so that's a good thing and feels almost back to normal until tonight when I first saw my incision which is two inches long. :fr: I have ALOT to catch up on I see here on this thread so let me try to get started.

Rosey, so glad you and Steve are home now and Happy Birthday to Steve! :gift: :hb: :cheers: I am sure you all have reflected on how special this birthday is after all he has been through. Pain medication adjustments are a big issue and wish there was a set way you could right off determine it without that trial and error stuff. I just experienced that this past week.

Dana, I was saddened to read all the trouble you are having concerning Logan. I don't have problems like that with Elena although I was having a problem with her letting the boys upset her so easily. She would rather hang out with the boys because they are usually as active as she is but not kissing, unappropriate touching has happened yet... THAT I KNOW OF! :lol3: I don't see how they can punish Logan for something they aren't really sure happened. Look at what happened with the first incident? That was blown way out of proportion and I feel this is too. But, he may have to serve the time and learn that he just needs to stay clear of those girls for they are only trouble for him.

Daphne, I can't get lifetime membership from being on WW online. That feature is only for in meetings members. I thought that sucked. Excuse the french but I did. I paid not as much for all that the in meetings members per week but still I followed the same exact plan and lost what I needed to loose. I am still having to pay a price per month to use the online tools. I may just cancel it, join meetings so I can use the e-tools and lose 5 pounds then keep it off for 6 weeks then I will obtain lifetime membership. LOL :lol: :rofl: :lol3: :goodscale

Been busy all day..run run run...I had alot of errands to do.. Now I am pooped.. It was a beautiful day today..Sunny..and warm.. I hope that the weather continues that way..I have to get some special requests ready for tomorrow night and then I will be set for the gig...

Rosey.. I am glad that Steve is feeling better and it sounds like he got some nice gifts..I am sure that cheered him up...

I sent an email to our school district superintendent. Here's what it said:

I am having some disagreements with the treatment of one of my children in an elementary school. He's a third grader being accused of sexual harrassment motives that he denies once he gets home and has really good explanations. We're talking about accidentally tagging a female on the chest while playing a game and pulling at another childs hair in another case. The principal seems to be putting words in his mouth, intimidating him and teaching him body part words that he hasn't been taught here at home.

The child who was "tagged on the chest" is upset that another student reported the incident because she felt it was an accident and didn't want anyone to say anything to the teacher. I've had a talk with the child's mother who is a good friend of mine and her story is considerably different from what the principal told me.

My son was informed today that if he did "it" again he would be referred to juvenile court. My son doesn't understand what "it" is and after the two very conflicting stories, frankly I don't either. My son has a twin sister and it's hard to explain any differently to him and to let him know that even if he did anything wrong, you can no longer hug or even talk to a female. It's rather difficult being that he has a sister the same age as the girls in question.

I feel sexual harrassment is nothing to joke about and I believe that all of these girls, with the exception of the first one think it's funny to keep telling these stories. They see it makes him have detention and suspension. I am highly upset that this gets brought up to 8 year olds. Especially when it's the school teaching my young son something that I've never talked to him about. He doesn't understand any of this.

Furthermore, there is a field trip coming up this next week and it cost us $25 to send him and now they won't let him go. This is getting way out of hand and is extremely upsetting. If he can't go on the trip, I am asking for that money back. We are a family of 5 on one income and 2 of our children have disabilities. If there's anything you can do to help us clear this help, I would be so greatful. I am willing to explain further the incidences as well. I am also in the process of writing to the state superintendent of education for help in this matter.]***


They (the principal) won't allow logan to go on the trip on tuesday so that makes me angry. Not only does he get treated like hes 18 or something but it's not easy to hand them $25 for nothing and I will not let that rest. The principal sent me a letter saying that they would try to get someone to fill that seat and pay us the money. We will get it one way or the other or he will go on that trip. Dh doesn't know about the suspension or this last accusation but he will in the next 3 days cause he was the one taking him to school at 6 next tuesday morning.

Rosey I do pretty well on ebay. it's worth setting up an account. You will get better sales if you sign up with paypal which is free also and it allows people to pay by bank drafts and credit cards and then you can withdraw the money into your bank account all online. I have been selling some music CD"s here lately that are from the early 90's for the most part. Things I don't care to listen to anymore or that I"ve already copied into my computer. When that husband of yours gets better, you'll have to tell him that he's your employee now in the card making business! :lol: My Dh asks to help make cards a lot and I don't think he has any creativity. He can fold some cards or he likes to do the stamping and I go right behind him to do the embossing when it's needed. That was winter time though and now it's like 80 degrees in here so he will probably be on my case to go outside more. I need the exercise but I am a "in house" person too.

Where is kris and sheree? I wish we would have thought to try to get sherees phone number or mailing address when she last posted. I hope she's ok.

Summer I am so with you on the money issues. We dont' have any but yet it's not that important to me either. I don't know why it seems to be to others. Especially these businesses. I dont think you should have to pay anything for weight loss. That's something to better your health and these gyms and things charge "out the rear" to pay 10 times for the equipment you use. I do pray that it all works out well for you though and hope you enjoy your exercise. I wish we had water aerobics around here but I wouldn't think we would. I would spend a lot of time goofing off and cooling down in that water. :lol: Have fun tonight.

Well this is getting long and I"m feeling so frustrated as it is. There's tension too when so many people know about logan but his own father doesn't cause he will over react. My MIL doesn't go back to work until monday which will probably be about the time Dh would find out anyway cause she works with a woman who has a girl in logan's class and then she would get it to my FIL and he works with DH.

Dana I am so so sorry all this is going on now. As if you needed any more stress. Yes I agree Logan has been marked. Kepp your chin up and smile and know we are here for you my sweet friend. I am so excited about that trip and I am not even going! I want a post card now ya hear?

Summer how is the weight loss going this weekend? Wow just a few more days and you will be a water babie! I really need to look into the YMCA again and see what it cost. The state will pay for Megan and we can join as her family. She wont use it but I sure will. I love to swim and used to swim all the time. If I had my choice I would clear out the office and turn it into a gym. I still might do that. Take the TV and videos out of here as well as the video chairs. I am going to be garage sale looking this summer.

I am still doing E-tools and loving it. I was low on points this week but was just so not hungary. I have had no Soda for almost 2 weeks now. Well I did have some Diet Squirt and some Diet Cherry 7 UP. I really didn't care for either of them. I have bottled water here and I will drink that over the other stuff.

Summer, you were probably in the middle of your posting why you did not notice I had posted. :) It is actually a summer time feel here today. What about in Virginia? Thank you for your support concerning WW. I really feel that I worked just as hard at getting to my goal and would think I should have the same opportunities to obtain lifetime membership without having to go and pay an enrollment fee and a weekly meeting fee. That's unreal and a shame because it is a "diet" you can life with and it has worked for me. Glad Bert and Buddy are doing well. How is Jim? Does he feel better about having to lose weight before the surgery? At least he doesn't have to face surgery soon. :) Does the hernia bother him? I hope not.

Daphne, sorry you are having problems again with "the kids". I wish we had some answers here but we just have to learn each day. Elena has turned around and done exceptionally well lately in school. She may actually PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFLOL :rofl: Ok, the questions.... My elbow is feeling good. I think I may have over-did things yesterday and ended up having to take a pain pill once yesterday. Today the only thing that bothers me is getting the crazy sling positioned so it isn't digging into my neck all the time. LOL I have to wear that for two weeks and it will only be a week Monday. :( The scar, well I have 6 stitches and the incision is about two inches long. I hope it will not be a bad scar but it is going to be long. It is healing very well. Plans this weekend. I really can't do much for fear of messing myself up. You just don't realize how much you use both arms when you just do day to day things. Driving is not too difficult but putting on the safety belt is! LOL Anyway, this too shall pass and soon I will have "fond" memories! LOL

Hello Everyone...
I am sorry that I havnet been in here in a couple....I have been tooo busy..
We did the Moose Friday night.. It was soooo much fun.. had some inquries about us playing other places.. I was pleased about that...so its a wait and see thing.. Everyone had a good time...We got home late and was exusted..
We slept in Saturday morinng..then in the afternoon..we went and joined the Gym.. I hated that it so costly but its sooo necessary.. I was so worried about the cost..and Jim said that the money will come and not to be so worried about it.. The Doctor was right he said about not putting a price on our health..if we could pay almost 90.00 per month for cable TV we can pay this..But I will still worry...:lol:..Thats just me....
Jim was very upbeat about it and is looking forward in starting Monday with the trainer..Which is free with our membership for awhle...and I cant wait to start water aerobics..
So it begins..We are signing up for the metabolizim classes and all...
I am relaxing today.. These old bones need it...:lol:..
I am pretty up beat too about this big change in our lives.. I never thought we would be members of a gym...... :tread: :workout: .........but its really for the best.. I have to be in good shape to walk the beach at MB...I hope to see a whole new me by September...well if not by then..it will come eventually..Anything will be great... We are doing our Dr's version of South Beach..Jim has to watch his fat intake because of his heart and along with carbs cause of Sugar..so I am sure it will be fine.....

I still say the are so so wrong in WW to do that to you...I really dont know if you can do anything about it other than send a email or letter to the headquaters about it just to say its wrong..Maybe tell them you will put it on your local TV news..See how they like the bad press..Right...
The weather here is really nice..Sunny and not to cold..Friday was simply beautiful Sunny and 70's...I hope its on its way back here soon...
Jim is really looking forward to the gym.. I think he has had enough with his weight and wants to get the surgery over with..The hernia doesnt hurt its just a bother knowing its there and wearing the girdle..but he has too..
I on the othe hand worry that it will burst and he has to have emergency surgery..so I try to make him understand NOT to push himself..The Dr said surgery in July..That all depends on his weight loss too...So we are trying..
I hope that you are better and better each day..and back doing the things you like and being able to take your seatbelt off and on alot easier. That must be a real pain now..I was so happy to hear about Elena doing so well in school.. I know that was a big concern for you awhile back.. I just knew things would get better with her...:wave:

I cant believe that I am the first one in here today...I am sure that all of you are busy with things...Donna is recooperating after surgery..{{{{{{{{Donna}}}}}}}} I hope that you are feeling better today and Rosey is taking care of hubby after his surgery.{{{{{{{{Rosey}}}}}}}} I hope that you are taking care of you too.......and the rest of you are busy with taking care of family and all....Its another :sunny: day here but a little chilly today... I have errands to run and I am looking for a good pair of Tennis shoes..We go to the gym after Jim gets home to talk to the trainers...
I have to get things lined up..so I have time to fix dinner and all..
It will be a whole new way of life around here..
