Good morning Worldly sisters,

I am trying to do a post but I am really tired - bad night last night and I just took pain meds which are making me overly sleepy. So I'm going down for a nap and then will come back and post later today. This has been an ordeal and I am learning things as we go along. I more I learn, the better I can control my pain. Still as Annie says - not fun. Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers. We are all dealing with some sort of tribulations in all of our lives at the moment. Good thoughts to all of you also.

I'll be back later.

Morning all.

Happy – Glad you’re learning how to cope with the pain you’re experiencing in recovery. Hopefully every day will get a bit better now. Hang in there!

Annie – Hope you’re getting over your cold. Boo on all the other stuff you’ve had to deal with during this recovery. Praying your x-rays show good healing and that you can get back on your feet.

Ceejay – Yay for the checks! How nice you have a deck to sit outside on. Enjoy! My mom has a deck overlooking the pasture behind her – so pretty.

Shad – I can understand your need to rant re ODDU not getting his walk – dogs need their exercise and there are two other people in the house who need to make this a priority! So is there a timeline for DD2 and the partner to get back to their own lodging? Re home and garden – yes, there’s always something to do!

Hellos to Dee, Susie and Michelle.

My weekend was alright. Well, I was out of sorts much of the time, so maybe it was just “meh”.

I met my former colleague Saturday morning for breakfast. It felt very quick, and it was – we were done within an hour! Sometimes I think he’s just ticking a box on his list when we meet, though we do catch up with each other’s lives since we no longer have all that much in common re our jobs or work.

Afterwards I stopped at Home Depot – I want one of those spray shower heads that attaches to the bathtub faucet that will make cleaning the tub and tile easier. Nope, they didn’t have one. Yes, I suppose I could buy a nice permanent one to use as our regular shower head, but I guess I just want to wait until we do a total remodel of our bathroom and then buy a very nice one. That’s a couple years down the road…

I stopped at the library to return a book and then pick up one I had on hold.

Back at home I did some laundry and cleaned the kitchen. Later on bf and I went shopping – he wanted a new sport jacket to wear to the dinner/auction that night. I didn’t come across anything I wanted, so I just ended up buying a basic black bolero-type sweater, which I wore over a dress I’ve had in my closet for many years now. It worked out fine.

The fundraiser was nice, as usual. The generosity of the attendees and the dedication of the volunteers is so touching. Bf’s brother and SIL were just fine, and they were very generous as well – and they also ended up with a few silent auction items. Nothing much caught my fancy - or bf’s - so we didn’t get any silent auction items, but bid on a bunch of gift cards and a bottle of wine.

Sunday I didn’t feel all that great – began the day with my lungs telling me I need to be more diligent with the asthma med. Ended the day with a headache.

In between I spoke to my mom and my sister. My mom’s house isn’t sold yet, but she’s gone ahead and bought a unit in the retirement housing village that’s about 10 minutes from where we live. That’s good because we’ve heard the units sell very fast and one can’t just wait around for the perfect unit to be available. Bf & I took a drive over there when we went out to lunch and the grounds are very nice, and the buildings look well-maintained. Yesterday my mom wasn’t feeling 100% and didn’t sound thrilled with life. The reality of a 1-bedroom apartment has hit her and the downsizing process needs to continue. I know I’ll be out there again to help, but not sure when.

In the evening we watched a movie on dvd – “The Drop”. It was good and followed the book (which I recently read) very closely.

That’s about it for me. Have a good day everyone.

Hello girls, it looks like it's time for us to have a Big

Laura~ You posted over me I'll catch you on my next post

Happy & Annie ~ Best Wishes for your healing & that you both will soon feel normal again

Shad ~ Thanks for the links, the festival pics are beautiful. Hopefully we'll make our first trip out of the U.S. to see you & Australia during the next 5-10 yrs when we can build up a nice vacation piggy bank How much in US dollars did it cost your DS to fly roundtrip? I know that will keep changing, I'm just wondering. A church friend lived in New Zealand & moved here about 18 years ago & she says nice things about her country, do you care for it there, pro's and con's about there, verses Australia

I have a magazine subscription to Fitness online. I'm not good about eating breakfast food at breakfast, these can be eaten anytime one link is about toast, the other link is breakfast tacos & burritos.

Hello all. Still trying to recover from this dang cold. Hacked my head off all night and today so far. Ribs are rehurting, if that is a word. Omgosh over this crap. Doc tomorrow. Chicken and "stuff" in the crock pot. Easy meal.

Prayers for both of my kids please. Both in the beginnings of divorce. Not my circus, not my monkies although I get drawn into it quite often. Bleh.

As all of us in this house has this crude going on, I am sure my house needs fumagated

No personals. I will update after doc tomorrow.

Hugs.

Oh wow, feel better soon. That coughing can't be good. I can only imagine how the lungs would feel. Sigh with problems from the kid's.

Laura
Going to a one bedroom apartment will be hard for your mom, but having her near by will be nice. I still have lots of unpacking to do but not as gung ho about it right now. Getting things organized in the house.

Happy
Sorry you are not feeling up to par. Did you get some different pain meds? How was the physical therapy session?

Shad
OCD, hum, I thought you were well organized.

Susie
Thought you were going to slow down at work. Has dh decided on whether to retire. Hope he waits till he's 62.

Trying to figure out an easy way to get to the Toyota dealership to have them check the recall on the seatbelts. Think I've figured it out via the gps. Paying that I don't get lost. Going to scout it out Wednesday.
Think I'll mow the front lawn this afternoon and tomorrow the back yard. I'm trying to do this to build up some stamina. And it's not to hot right now.
I'm still unpacking. So far I'm liking my move. I'm an introvert so staying inside a house or apartment doesn't bother me. I will get outside and go places but it doesn't bother me at all to stay on the inside.
Applied for a supplemental insurance to go with my Medicare policy this morning. Now to get the prescription insurance and the dental insurance.

Morning all. We’re having some warmer weather this week. Yesterday was dry, but the humidity is rising. Oh well.

Hi Dee! I might have to look at those recipe links for other meals – I’m not one for foods with strong flavors in the morning or to go to much trouble on workday mornings for breakfasts. So usually cereal is okay with me, with some fruit. Or some toast and fruit. Or every once in a while toast with a poached egg. Typically I just eat something light at home and then have a morning snack at work. Did you pick out any of those recipes to try? Let us know how you like it.

Annie – Oh dear, I hadn’t thought how the coughing would hurt your injured ribs! Hope the cold is easing up. Make sure you have a supply of cough drops/cough suppressant. -- Sorry to hear your kids are both heading towards divorce. I feel bad for the little ones. Thankfully that’s not the case for your son, correct?

Ceejay – Yes, I’ll be very happy to have my mom nearby after 20+ years out of state. --Hope you find your way to the dealership without too much trouble. I’m okay with Google maps and navigation, but I still like paper maps best. – It would be nice if insurance matters got easier, but nope. More complicated with Medicare and all its parts and supplements.

Hellos to the rest of you!
--
Last night I went to a Total Strength class at the Y. The warmup was using an aerobic step, but the rest of the class was body weight exercises or exercises with hand weights. I liked it. I put too many risers under my step for the warmup and got winded so quickly, but after that it was challenging, but good. I’d definitely go to that class again. I think I’d stay afterwards to do some stretching and cooldown on my own. I had a really bad leg cramp as I was getting into the car after class and I had to get back out of the car quickly to stretch my leg. I haven’t had a cramp like that in a long time – forgot how painful they can be.

I had my mid-year performance goal status meeting with the boss this morning, more like ľ year, LOL. It went alright. He needs to delegate more to the rest of us, so I will be taking on some new work. I’m nervous, but it’s not like I don’t have anyone to provide guidance when it’s needed. I’m also somewhat positive about it because it might just re-energize me. Lately I’ve felt a bit stale with what I’ve been doing.

Tonight bf has his class, so I’m on my own. I’ll do a load of laundry and would like to try out my new body bar workout dvd.

That’s it for me. TTFN.

Congratulations Annie. Well done. You will be glad to get back to work, and your usual whirlwind activities.

Laura - It will be good to learn new stuff and get more brain activity going. Glad you liked the Total Strength class. Sounds like a good one.

Happy - hope you are getting better now and the pain is not as intense

Ceejay - Finding your way in a new town is always fun. I tend to go around in circles occasionally. I don't think I am OCD and I try to be organised, but with this lot around, it is not easy.

Dee - not sure what the kids paid but if I go have a look it seems that Virgin Australia have flights from LA to Brisbane for AUD873.05 - don't know if that includes baggage or not. There are all sorts of add ons to negotiate before you get to the final price. The kids travelled Virgin. I'd probably do it with Qantas because the price you see is everything inclusive. Don't leave it too long if you are coming over, I'm not sure I have 10 years left in me.

Been cleaning out the spare room today. Packing up some of the kids stuff and taking it outside. They can take it up to the shed next time they go to the new/ old house. Which hopefully is not that far away. They have built a shed on the property and they can take the stuff up there and lock it up and I can reclaim some of my square footage back in the house. It's been dirty dusty work and I had to call quits and have a shower a while back to start to feel normal again. Once they have gone I can turn it into an office come spare bedroom place and renovate it as such. It will be nice to have the room as a room again rather than a junk yard.

It's raining again, which will do the vege patch the world of good - I planted corn and peas yesterday. We should start eating from it in the next month or so.

I had better get going, there is a woman ringing me about work shortly and I need to get negotiating skills sorted so I don't have to do what I did last time and spend a huge amount of money to get anywhere to stay.

Hi everyone, I've been having pain with inflammation in my right side since Saturday & I got a doctor appointment for Friday. Monday night. I had bad chills most of the night so I drank 10 cups of water & 4 cups of hot cherry herbal tea throughout the day/night then yesterday when I woke up the inflammation had turned into just minor pains so whatever it was it seems that my body fought it off when I was having the chills, the water & cherry herbal tea appears to have had a healing effect. I've had diverticulitis & my inflammation & pain were the exact symptoms in that area. If I'm better today I'm canceling my Friday appointment

Shad~ If we don't have a major health or financial crisis & our piggy bank starts growing again in 2017, then we should be able to save up $5,000 to visit you & Australia within the next 5 years I know that you have at least 20 more years left because you're a little firecracker that enjoys & Loves life I was confused about your garden being ready to harvest within such a short time. Everything we plant up here in the north usually takes a minimum of 45 days up to 90 days to harvest. Yes I agree having family leave is nice & getting your life back & regaining your home & being free to walk around in your undies

Annie ~ Thanks for your awesome news about your recovery Is Sis looking for a job in a beauty salon, it will help with her emotional healing with the divorce, I hope that she gets their home in the divorce settlement with her hubby paying the mortgage, I got that with child support & 1 year of alimony $1,000 a month. Did your son or DIL file for divorce, the trauma from illness can mess up a insecure relationship. Has either couple tried marriage counseling to reconcile? A parent's pain never ends with their kids Next summer will be fabulous for you with your new foot being able to enjoy life again!

Ceejay ~ All of your posts since you've moved are sounding like you're enjoying your New life After you get completely settled, your sister may start playing matchmaker to get a new dating couple for your BIL & her to do events with

Laura ~ It's great that you have such a well rounded life & you enjoy being at work as much as your active personal life. What's your Luv's class that he's taking, a leisure or a career class? Yes, I'm like you about daily breakfast that's why I hope the Fitness magazine recipes might inspire me, or give me fresh ideas to try for supper or weekend breakfast. My Dh likes to cook breakfast for us on the weekends it was his treat for me when I was working for my clients often with many long days. Is your mom a widow now, that's very wonderful for her to live near you because it will give her courage & comfort during the remainder of her life living near her family.

Happy & Susie ~ How are you doing I watched the Ohio State football team on TV kick a$s winning last weekend

When we're in our new home next year I plan to be a American Red Cross Disaster volunteer for victims in other states whenever needed. For years I've helped with in state assistance & community events like blood drives & teaching First Aid courses; It's scary to see that many people don't know how to do Emergency First Aid: assess & aid injuries, cardiac arrest, water CPR, the Heimlich maneuver for choking children & adults is different, recognize a 911 emergency, use epinephrine pen, take a pulse, etc. I hope that all corporations offer American Red Cross courses to their employees, the costs are under $50 to save a life.

My friend that's been a Missionary volunteer the last 5 years is returning back to Africa for her 3rd October year. She feels more valuable there than her prior 2 October's in Mexico. She's turning 60 soon & her Dh is 8 years younger & he's scared to go with her on those 4 week trips, even though his employer will give him a leave of absence... Every year she tries to guilt me into going with her, if I was fluent in their language I'd go with her if there was armed security with us or we could carry a tazer or a gun for self-defense, because of abduction & rape happening frequently in that country She says God will protect us & I said, the kidnapped & raped children & the female adult victims also thought that... She's 5'8" & 170# body & is confident God will protect her from evil. I keep her in my daily prayers when she's gone.

Have a wonderful & fun Hump Day everyone Our temps are supposed to drop to 70* this weekend fall is coming, time to bring out chilly clothing soon.

Good morning Worldly sisters,

Going to try and get a proper post in. This has been quite the ordeal and not at all pleasant. Even though I have several strong narcotic medications, they don't really seem to do much at all for the pain. My biggest issue is a strong "pulling" sensation in my knee, specifically on the inner leg - like someone is "wringing out" my leg as if it were a washcloth. This pulling sensation intensifies until it becomes excruciating. And no amount of shifting, reclining, pain meds, heat packs, cold packs or good old fashioned rubbing helps to lessen the pain. Several times I was writhing in agony. That too is why I haven’t been posting – it is very painful to sit in any position to use the computer and the same goes for in my lap sitting in the recliner. In fact, I had him take me to the emergency room at the hospital here on Saturday night. It actually started out with what I’d call a good day. I was not too bad on the pain, just going slow and being careful. I had set a personal goal for myself to be up on my feet for three, ten minute intervals throughout the day to start to build back strength and stamina. I accomplished 2 rounds of that and started to feel poorly which I attributed to being overdue for pain medication. So I took 2 pills and went to lay in bed. For the next 2 hours the pain intensified until I could no longer stand it. Something wasn’t quite right I felt. They took xrays of my knee – all was good there. They did a CBC blood test to check for infections – none to be found. I had some elevated numbers but as the doctor said I was only 9 days out of surgery so nothing to be alarmed at. They gave me a muscle relaxor and suggested that if I continued to have problems, I should probably go up the Duluth to the ER up there are follow up with my orthopedic doctor. He also said I was not icing my leg nearly as much as I should be. So I came home, DH made me a sandwich and as I was sitting there I started to think. No one understands this “pulling” sensation I am talking about. But ever since I was a little kid, one of my feet turns inward. We went to a quack chiropractor when we lived in Memphis. He did manage to straighten my foot out but to excruciating pain. Very similar to this pain I’m having now. So I was thinking, they straightened my leg out but perhaps the muscles and tendons around that joint are still set for a crooked leg and my new position “is pulling” on them! I mentioned this to the physical therapist Monday – he said that is a very real possibility and it also sounds like I have either bursitis or tendonitis in the knee. Oh great – trade in the arthritis pain for the bursa pain although it feels the same to me. The P/T also put me on a recumbent stepper which was very hard at first but after about 2 minutes I could see that I could stretch my leg farther. We did that for about 7 minutes and then I was done. He tried to do electrical stimulation on my knee but as the charge passed through the one really painful spot, it just made it even more painful. To the point I was crying. He tried an ice massage – no relief. Finally I told him we were done for the day and I hobbled out of there. I was in crippling pain the rest of the day and through the night. He also said I still have some swelling and that is also contributing to the pain I am having. The only relief for that is rest, elevate, ice. So that’s pretty much all I did yesterday. Not looking forward to P/T today but I will take a hot shower an hour before I go as well as a big hit on my pain meds – hoping those will help to make it not too awful. I am starting to accept that this will more than likely be a 2 month recovery, not the 2 weeks I foolishly hoped it would be.

As for the house, the deck is done except for the vertical railing poles which DH said he would do himself. They started on the siding – did about half the garage at this point. Today we got a call from the business owner. Apparently there are a lot of the siding boards they are rejecting for various reasons – cracks, off color, warped, etc. They are at the point of it being a substantial amount of boards so they said there comes a tipping point in which they have to declare the entire lot of boards defective. His crew has spent at least 3 days putting the siding up. If he declares the entire lot defective then he can also put in a claim to cover reimbursement to the crew for their labor. Honestly, they did spent 3 days working so they expect to be paid. Can’t really charge the customer for the 3 days of re-work they will have to do with a new shipment of siding either. So now we wait for the representative from the supply store to come and inspect the siding and report back to the vendor. All I can say is that WHEN it finally gets done it will look very nice. Totally different from the original plan. And the topping on the cake of life here is that the other day while chewing I noticed a rough spot on my teeth. Yes, it’s time for another crown to break in my mouth. It’s not giving me any trouble right now – knock on wood – so I’m going to hold off doing anything about it until my leg is completely healed. They don’t want to run the risk of introducing any bacteria into the body. And I don’t want to have to take antibiotics on top of what I am already putting down my throat.
So that’s catch up for me. I’m going to post this and have to come back later to catch up with you. Just the 30 minutes sitting here at the computer has me in a lot of pain so I need to go sit and ice my leg for a while. Thank you for all the good wishes, thoughts and prayers you have sent my way. Love you all!

Geez Louise Happy. So sorry you are in so much pain. Healing thoughts and prayers sweet sister.

Prayers for my little Sass. She has two compressed disks that is causing her backend to be paralyzed. Hoping the steroid shot and meds over the next few days gives her some relief and return to normal. If not vet wants to send her to a specialist which would involve cat scan and surgery. The last option is not affordable for us. Sad beyond measure. My heart is aching.

Got to go pick up my Z Pak for this sinus infection and hacking.

Hugs prayers and love to all

Hi Everyone,

I had to come up for air! The other Admin in my group---it's just her and I until Oct 3 when the new Admin comes, has been out sick so I'm taking care of the entire department.

I have a lot of projects to deliver in the next two weeks and am hitting hard deadlines for things so extra work for me. I worked 14 hours yesterday and 12 today...and my head is above water. The other Admin has a doctor's apt tomorrow. Good thing as I'm WFH on Friday morning until we need to leave for DH's cardio conversion.

Anne: glad to hear you are getting a zpack to get better. Also glad to hear you are off the scooter and on to a boot.

Sorry to hear about your Sass...she is so sweet. Hopefully you can get the inflammation down and she will have mobility again

Also sorry to hear that the kids are going through the Big D. So sad....

Happy: I think your explanation of why your leg is feeling like that makes sense. Our muscles get used to a position even if it is a wrong position and doing something different is for sure going to bring about discomfort. Take it easy and heal well.

Ceejay: I think you are loving your new place! I am so happy for you.

My DH does plan to retire at 62. Then he will work for me and take care of the home things while I'm working so we can enjoy our evenings!

Shad: It sounds like you are thinking of taking a new job?

Laura: I think it will be a good thing to take on some new work..it will give you a challenge again. And just think, it is something that your boss used to do and now he is giving it to you...he must trust you...and feel you can handle tasks that he has been doing...remind him that you are now doing work he used to do....and with that should come good $$$$$

It sounds like the YMCA classes are turning out to be a good thing for you. Did you get to use your body bar and Dvd the other nights?

Dee: I think it is wonderful you have plan for when you get to your new place and it will be such a fulfilling one and allow you to become involved where you live and meet new people.

DH and I are going to do a 5 k in November, the first week of it. We start training next week. We thought it would help us both to start kick the exercise again. We will be walking the 5 k.

That is it from here. See you all tomorrow hopefully!

Hi everyone,

Short post here - I still can't find a comfortable position to sit in to be at the computer for longer than 10 minutes. I am making progress - got a good 90 degree bend in my leg which is excellent for only 2 weeks post op. Physical therapy is hard - I have a spot of bursitis/tendonitis that once it flares up, causes me intense pain for days - so we have to work on that. They have to remove all the new siding they put up on the garage - the lot we got is defective and is peeling.

Susie - you sound uber busy at least for the new few weeks. Don't burn yourself out and make sure to allocate time to yourself for your health needs. Will send some prayers your way that hubby's conversion goes smoothly and works to get him back in rhythm again. I love the idea of you both training for a 5k together. That was one of the things I wanted to do in retirement - we have about 4 or 5 here that I could do once the knees get back in shape. DH would go with me, but I'm sure he'd want to walk way faster than me. I think you will have to find stuff like the 5k to keep DH active and doing what he needs to without realizing he is even working on it!

Annie, my poor sweet trod upon sister You just hit the jackpot on the wheel of aggravation, didn't you? I hope Sassy will be ok and can get the medical treatment without you having to sell your cars. Also so sorry to hear that both of your kids are having marital problems. Relationships, families, life in general - so much more difficult and complicated. I'm sure you are fretting over this far too much. Need to scale back and just concentrate on healing that leg and ribs of yours. Don't put negative energy in your body! Did you get your new scooter yet? How's the cold coming along? Don't over do it on the boot walking as you will be "tilted" and that will put a big strain on your back. You need a riding scooter - get one and we can use it at the commune later.

Dee - hope you are feeling better now. I heard that sour cherries are very good as anti inflamatories. Good for you for working for the Red Cross once you get settled in to your next home. I had a friend - he and his wife were both very active on the volunteer disaster teams. You are right about people not being prepared. I attended several classes in Memphis because one day they WILL get a big earthquake - the experts say it's when not IF. We also got great pamphlets on disaster preparedness which I distributed to all the homes in our association. People could care less - easier to stick your head in the sand. The thing is, the first few days after a disaster you are truly on your own as emergency services are over taxed and triaged to the most important areas. They don't realize that there may be no police and firemen for a while. I am in agreement with you - God gave you the brains to protect yourself, don't count on him for the wrong stuff. I also agree with the people / missionaries that go into these radical countries - sorry but no can do.

Shad - I can only imagine how much you would love to get your house back to your way of living - ie less "stuff", less furniture, less noise. Are the kids going to build on this property they put a storage shack on? I see you are still not ready to retire. Bummer - as it sounds like you have really had enough of the corporate clown car. Are you feeling better or have they not sorted out the causes of your pain yet?

Ceejay - it looks like you are totally enjoying your new life. Great to see you happy. I called that first year "the wonder year" - everything was new and fresh and exciting. Funny how time off puts you in a better state of mind. Keep having fun!

Laura - I agree with you about getting bored and stale at work. It will be nervewracking to learn something new but once you master it, the confidence boost is wonderful. I love the excitement of new stuff. Your new strength class sounds like it's right up your alley too - challenging and the kind where you feel like you worked out when you are done with it. How nice that your Mom found a place relatively close to you rather than south suburbs and a long drive. I hope her place sells quickly and everything can get wrapped up and settled down. Have you seen the movie "The Girl on the Train"? I just picked up the book as it looked interesting. I just can't sit and read for very long before I get tired.

Which I am now. My knee is telling me it's time to go stretch out and put on an ice pack. Take care everyone!

Morning all. Happy first day of Autumn. It’ll be humid and high 80’s here – not very fall-like. I think next week is when the cooler temps will arrive.

I got home from work Tuesday and was feeling a bit tired so I didn’t do any exercise. I did a load of laundry and pulled the file folder with doggy’s vet & rx receipts, and that was about it for productive activities. The rest was tv and reading.

As the evening wore on, my throat started feeling dry and scratchy. I woke up around 4 am with a sore throat and didn’t sleep well after that. Decided to stay home from work on Wednesday. Sore throat went away but the dry and scratchy part has persisted. I spent the day eating hard candy and drinking a lot of water. Having more asthma symptoms thanks to this crud, so I have to also use the “as needed” inhaler as well as my daily one. I feel okay today, but still have the throat stuff going on. This is something bf caught and shared. Thanks hon.

I thought there was a Bodypump Express class tonight, but nope. There’s indoor cycling (spin) and Zumba, but I’m not wanting to do any cardio. I’ll finally do my body bar dvd tonight.

Susie – Sorry you’re so busy with work again! Well, September has flown and October 3rd isn’t all that far away now, so that’s good for you. Hang in there sister!! == Once your hubby is retired it’ll be nice to have a “househusband”. Once my bf finishes his med billing/coding cert, it will be likely that he will work outside the home. I’ll miss having him working at home and being able to take care of so much around the house. == Great idea to do a 5k! The October/November weather will make brisk walks more comfortable.

Annie – I’m so sorry to hear about Sassy’s disk problem. : Prayers that the steroid shot and meds will do the trick for her. === I hope the z-pack wipes out your sinus infection. == At least you’re in a boot now and off the knee scooter. Bet 10/10 can’t come quickly enough for you.

Happy – I’m glad you went to the ER to get checked out and eliminated an issue with the new knee and an infection, but what a complication with your turned foot! I’m wondering what your PT and/or doc can do about that, or will it be a matter of your muscles/joints/tendons/ligaments just having to adjust to this new knee. I hope the pain eases up for you. ==Fingers the crown hangs in for a while longer. === What a bummer on the (possibly) defective lot of siding. Hope the whole inspection process doesn’t delay things too much.

Dee – I hope the doc can deal with the inflammation problem – will he/she prescribe an antibiotic for the diverticulitis? == Wonderful plan to volunteer with the Red Cross once your move is done. I know a couple people who’ve done mission trips to Africa, and it’s an admirable thing, but there are plenty who need help in this country too!

Shad – It’ll be nice to have your spare room back after the kids move their stuff to their shed.== Hope your veg patch is flourishing after getting the rain.

Hi Ceejay!

Everyone have a great day!
