Hello everyone.

Welcome Leatherman!

I just wanted to share some pictures I took in the last few weeks.

Normal nap time scene. If you look closely you can see Loueys back on the other side of Sasha

Sasha playing with a box

Louey saw Santa!

FLower with Loueys Santa hat

This is what my back yard looks like after the 1st snow fall. 7.6 inches

Wow Tymaboy looks like you did get some snow - we have been lucky that ours has barely been sticking around- we have some but alot of it has already melted- Great pics of the pets

Hey Tammy like your thinking don't let anything get in the way of your weight loss and you will know what is right and what is not right- so just keep rocking it as long as you can and want

Thank you for the warm welcome. I live in Wisconsin and my name is Aaron. I have an 1100 V Star with pipes. I love the V Star but want a Harley. My wife and I have been married for 18 1/2 years, we have 2 boys, 17 and 15. I am 41, my wife will be 46. My wife and I started our diets last monday, I try to work out 1/2 to 1 hr a day, and watch what I eat, about 2200 cal. day. I weigh 270 lbs ouch and want to get down to 210 -220. My wife told me today that she thought that I have lost some weight, so I tried on my side lace vest that was tight all summer and it fit better. Please over look my bad spelling I am a guy.

Hi girls- oh wait can't just say that anymore since we have a guy joining us now

What would you prefer Leatherman or Aaron?

Ticker I believe you have to have so many posts before you can post a ticker there is probably a link somewhere on that-

So you ride a VStar I use to have an 01 VStar Custom that I customized here is a pic if I can get it to work

Almost bought it back here about a couple of months ago but didn't
Oh ya with this pic also comes a picture of me as well but a few pounds heavier- sorry not a real good picture at that we were out in the hills so ya I was posing on the bike
I as well only exercise about 1/2-1 hour a day just don't have lots of time for anything more than that

Have a Great Day

Aaron will work fine with me. My V Star is a 2001 classic.

I am from IA. My DHs family lives in Janesville so we make regular trips there. I just started riding this yr. I have a 2001 virago 250. It doesnt go very fast but considering that I like to ride the back roads & site see it does serve my purpose. I do want to try a bigger bike just to compare it to my Virago. I had a hard time finding a bike in my price range that sat low enough for me.

The tickers are either by the number of posts or the number of days that you are a member- I cant remember.

Dont worry about your spelling wait till you see some of my posts. I am on the computer right now so my spelling is better but when I am on the IPad its not so hot. I either think I hit a letter but didnt or hit the wrong one or I misspell a word & the spell check automatically changes the word to a totally different word.

Tymaboy, I loved the pet photos. I am kinda jealous over the snow. All we have here in Arkansas is freaking cold air. I do have to say, I am picky.... I welcome some snow..... but DO NOT want the ice we had a couple years ago.

CC, I love the pic of you and your custom bike. Are you still thinking about a Road King? Did I tell you that a couple months ago I drove an 04 custom RK? I did not get it..... but I have to admit that it sparked my interest in a more comfortable bike. I am not ready to make the move yet.

Holly, How are you? I keep meaning to ask you.... just b/c I am nosey, do you all get a lot of customers at the deli around Christmas.... I guess people "excluding" themselves from the normal drama of Christmas and just get away? I really like Christmas time..... I just don't like the drama associated.

Speaking of.....DS1 and DH are chipping in together and getting me a remote start for my trailblazer for Christmas. I was spoiled with it on my Monte Carlo, and it is hard not having it on the trailblazer.... but now I will have it!

Colleen, are you out there? Lol.... I know you said in previous posts you don't log on as much as you used to if you are "bad" in eating.... remember althought a WL site linked us all together..... we are friends now--- WL or not. We miss your comedic spin on life. Lol.

Leatherman, it sounds like you and your wife have a good plan on losing the weight.

Okay ladies, last night was my first night of 3rd shift. All I can say is "WOW". First of all, I am so freaking tired it is unbelievable. I have not been this tired in a long time.... if ever. And, I was broken in right on the first night.... my first 911 call was a stabbing. The guy was stabbed by his uncle.... we don't think he lived. It is odd, unless someone tells us after the dust settles..... we don't know the outcome of cases. My second call was a gun shot wound (guy was cleaning his gun and shot through his hand and leg). Anyway. I did not make it to bootcamp after working.... I went home and to bed. I have to get my bearings straight to be able to do both jobs and bootcamp..... but the 3rd shift will be interesting to say the least.

I made a hard conscious effort to NOT eat last night while eating. Even when the others did a McDonalds run. I started the new WW program (which is kinda like the WW world and Clean eating world marrying--well, kinda). So, I cheated and weighted this AM and I have lost 5 pounds since Sunday.... I know it is water.... but the plan seems to be working. I am not really hungry either.
Enough about me.....

Hi, welcome Aaron! I'm Holly (road name Cupcake) and up until 2 months ago I had an 06 Honda VTX 1300C. From May to October I have a great job as a pastry baker at a private club; from late October to late April I have a crummy retail job in a winter resort town. Married for 31 years; two boys, 16 and 20, one dog. I learned to ride in 2002. My interests are mostly centered around riding. My fitness goals - I want to lose about 10 pounds; and I want to keep on working out for a long time in the future. I just turned 50 last week.

I am supper excited! IBM called yesterday. I missed their call but they left a message. I need to complete something online before moving on to the next step! I think the next step is a job offer since they do not do 2nd interviews. Excited but nervous & scared. I havent worked outside the home since 2007.

CONGRATS tymaboy!!

Hey Reda I agree, i am sure that Tammy is probably better off not knowing the outcome of those calls. Must be very hard to condition oneself to not get personally involved!

and the Olay Regenerist that my son gave me was the Night Recovery Cream. I am happy with Olay's daytime moisturizer, SPF 15 I think, but I like to 'load up' at night <---greasy face

Well ladies I can't just wish for my will power to take me through the 7 hour days of deli and bakery temptations right under my nose with no supervision. So i have to PLAN.

Tonight I saved the leftovers from the dinner stir fry and set some aside for me to put in my 2 eggs for breakfast tomorrow. Am making a big pot of bean soup too. I'm gonna try to delve into soup making, I do like any kind and its relatively cheap to make, and filling. I'm trying to drink lots of water today. It will be hard, DH cares NOT at all about even trying anymore and there are cookies and frosting and ice cream all around...oh god!! I just cannot 'just' work out everyday and eat whatever I want. The food part is always so much harder for me but I've got to do it.

I also HAVE to start making my lunch the night before, that helps me so much in the morning.
Hi Tammy, Colleen and Aaron!
