Default Good morning, Queenlies!

Another gray day, but it's supposed to warm up in any case. Will summer ever arrive? Day 4, anyway.

I went to a wonderful Reiki share last night. The energy was really flowing There were only three of us there but we each got a treatment and it was so relaxing and balancing.

Kaylets, I'd be in a rambling old house on the ocean, with organic gardens and an orchard. Thanks for the question!

Amarantha, may the gym be deserted (I love it when that happens).

Let's hit it, Queenies!

Such motivation flowing throughout the palace. I must catch up to the flow. So hot, humid, here too - don't know how Empress endures.

So I did some outside watering, putterin, garage cleanup (well, one corner as I was putting away play stuff that was out for the princesses). However, I am going to be rightly proud of my trash pile this week - with what I've accumulated and two bags garnered by DD while she was here over the weekend.

I declare "MimiCamp 2007" to be a great success. I really moved around with Eleven over the last few days. Even wore her out last Friday. So I'm sorting out the house, the paperwork, my life, etc. after the last week of hustle and chaos and plan to rest throughout this whole dad blamed hot afternoon. First floor looking good, more laundry but I'll save that for later. In an organizing frame of mind at the moment and don't want to waste that. I can sort laundry no matter what my frame of mind is.

So good to have so many Royals back in the palace. Hope to get back in my regular routine again soon - but anxious to continue my orgaizing moment as long as I can. So to all - be back soon. Going to eat lots of watermelon today..........................phew!

T'is a little cooler today, Anagram, thanks be! Enjoy your watermelon.

Arabella, gym wasn't deserted but did meet up with an old aquaintance from a previous gym and that was really fun. She used to be a runner, although she hasn't done any for three years.

Thank you for passing on the meditation link. Glad you enjoyed the reiki. I was going to take a class but the instructor was snippy about having me there because I had not taken her previous class, so I gave it a miss as I don't need anyone's bad attitudes or negative vibes in my life.

Good Morning all!!!.....
Dh's blood sugar numbers are dropping nearly 10 pts each day since we began our "own' version of what works for us foodwise.....

Funny how we went off in the ditch and just kept spiinning our wheels instead of knowing we had to find another way back onto the road......

*****Thought of the day:

THE STORY is WELL WORTH IT HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY

The Whale

If you read the front page story of the SF Chronicle,
you would have read about a female humpback whale
who had become entangled in a spider web of crab traps
and lines.
She was weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused
her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of
line rope wrapped around her body, her tail, her torso, a line tugging in her mouth
A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farralone Islands
(outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for help.
Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was
so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her .

a very dangerous proposition.
One slap of the tail could kill a rescuer.
They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her.

When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles.
She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them,
pushed gently around-she thanked them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives.

The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was
following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.

May you, and all those you love,
be so blessed and fortunate.
to be surrounded by people
who will help you get untangled
from the things that are binding you.
And, may you always know the joy
of giving and receiving gratitude.
I pass this on to you, my friend, in the same spirit.

Day 5 fly-by: All goes well, but busy! All challenges being met. Big fun tonight: We're going to a White Stripes concert . These guys are so cool -- they're playing every province and territory in Canada and are doing free, impromptu concerts at unusual venues throughout, including a transit bus, a bowling alley and a center for seriously ill kids. Very impressive!

Anagram, you wore out a princess?!! Kudos!

Kaylets, I love that story about the whale. So vivid -- I could just picture the whale watching the guy and waiting to be freed.

Amarantha, oh, I'm thinking about taking that challenge. My knees aren't the greatest. But I might see if I can safely do baby squats...

K, Lovelies -- have a good evening.

Huzzah, Arabella. I do the baby squats when I do this kind of challenge because that's actually the best way to hit that "pear" area. It's a very gentle exercise, but no one should really do squats if it's not indicated medically. Knees can be funny. No problem re anyone who doesn't want to join me. I just posted it for fun.

I crashed and burned calorically on the first day of my new "3-dayer," but the nice thing is that I've only pledged to do seven of them, but not necessarily consecutively, so will start day one again tomorrow!

Am in moderate to high range today, s'ok, doin' great. Have to go to work soon.

Smile Fly-by thread pick-me-up

And Day 6 I think this is the farthest I've gotten in a bit...

The concert was great last night and it was nice, too, to come home and sit out on the deck and have a glass of wine. So pleasant to be out in the dark, sitting and listening to the leaves rustling and watching stars and wispy clouds blowing past.

K -- just did 20 baby squats -- put me down for 2000...

Have a great day, All!
