It's really nice to be back. My husband bought me The Beck Diet Book before christmas. (I was so happy since It was sold out everytime I went to the bookstore) I've only read a few pages the other day. It sound very interesting. It uses cognitive therapy techniques for dieting . So it's will work with any plan.
I don't have a set plan and I really need to set one in stone so I don't stray. I weight myself and noticed that I am at the same weight as in Oct. Which is nice since I expected a huge gain.
I'm glad to hear your all moved into your new home and have found a fitness center. After I log off her I need to sit down and write my fitness plan down. I
know that it will improve my mental state so I'm going to try 15 minutes a day.
Well I better get moving.

Shari - I need to start moving bum also. This is what I have the most time struggling with. I know I need to make time for this even if it's 10 minutes.

Update on The Beck Diet Book. It is a real eye opener! I'm only on my 3rd day and it's has stopped me from eating and buying junk! It really made me think about my reason for losing weight. One note on the book if you do plan on doing this you'll need a few office supplies sticky notes, recipe cards and a notebook. (at least that is what I've had to buy so far)

Mez ~ Glad that book seems to be working for you. I've never been into reading diet books. I get confused. LOL

Actully the book is a very easy read. It gives a new skill everyday to help you with your plan. It reinfoces these skills by having you write these down so you know your triggers.

Yesteday I weight in and I'm down 2lbs. Which I'm very happy about! I know it could be more if I pump it up and workout. One step at a time.

Shari if it's one thing we know is those little losses add up to big losses in time.
It's nice to see the scale move. Congrats.

Well I am now going to try and start my day at 5 am so I can things in order so I have time to workout before the grandkids get here. I'm not so sure it will work out since I don't want to grumpy or tired when they are here. My grandson is doing great with his reading. He's loves Biscuts books right now. He's one smart cookie! (Spoken like a true grandma) I try and plan out the day and today is going to be art day. They love to fingerpaint and color to music. I just found some sissors that say they are for toddlers. The others I have are still to big for my grandson to use. I think they are geared towards grade school.
I think I'm going to weight myself everyday so I can see how my weight is flexing this winter. When TOM is on it's way I can go up 5 lbs! (and I never know when it's comming!) So this will be a good key for me to go by.

Awww, I love it when you talk about your grandkids. My mama and them are going back to Bama this weekend to get some stuff out of storage and she's going by my old apartment to get the cat. I told my BFF to give her my scale too!

These last two days have been SO wonderful! Mama took everyone out of town to get the stuff out of storage and I've had the place to myself this whole weekend! I definitely need to get my own place cause I miss it!
