I've been so busy I haven't had time to post. I'm cooking and working at moms this week. I just wanted to drop in and let you all know I'm still alive and kicking...lol. Just keeping busy with the kids gone to school during the day it gets to lonely to stay at home. Going to the park almost every day. And catching up on my reading. In the evening Danielle has homework mostly she does by herself I just have to sign..shes doing stuff I just have no idea how its done...lol. Ashley loves PreK. When she gets in the car in the evening she wants to go back...lol.
Monet-I love the pic you painted looks like your a great painter. I wish I could do a little of that but I'm not paint inclined...lol

Missy--I will keep you and Lexie in my thoughts and prayers. What a system! I have a friend who is having to sue to adopt her grandchildren. Her daughter is a drug addict and has two precious little girls that my friend and her husband are now raising. Their daughter has no interest in caring for these girls, but she is fighting them every step of the way. I have another friend that just finalized an adoption of two boys (yes, it does happen!). The boy's father fought the termination because he wanted his "rights." Didn't want to see the boys, didn't want to care for them, just wanted his "rights." It's a messed up world and I'm thankful that Lexie has found a safe and loving home with you and Terry and I'll be praying for you as you work through the court system.
Monet--I'll look for your paper on Monday. The bookstore was crawling with football fans yesterday and today.
Missy--yes, I'm so proud when Nebraska kicks the crap out of a Division II-A school. (NOT)! HAHAHA. We play USC tonight on national television and will most likely get our ***es handed to us... If we can score some points and not let it turn into a free-for-all I'll be ok with that.
And yes, to others, I am very tall. That's not a typo. I will try the spag sauce w/out the sugar and see how it tastes. I have all the ingredients but don't know when I'll make it...going to my brother's to watch the game and to watch my nephew play football. But I'll let you all know how it tastes without it.
Good job to everyone getting in their workouts!!! As it gets colder and darker I will struggle with this so I may be looking for some people to kick my booty into gear to get in the exercise. Winter is NOT GOOD to me.

Hello everyone. Wow for some reason I got behind! A lazy Saturday today. But first I curled up in my chair with my warm flannel blanket my sis made for me a few years ago. I get it out when cool weather starts. The acorns are pelting our mobile! On a tin roof they're loud.
Thin- I hope you have fun at the beach. I would love a day there. Haven't been since I was last in Calif.
Solly- I hope you have fun at the wedding. And enjoy every drop of wine... LOL..
Missy- My gosh I can't imagine what you have to go through to adopt... Alexis is so lucky to have you. You'll all be in my thoughts and prayers..

My COUSIN'S BABY (he's 23) just called me from the TAILGATE SECTION at the ballgame!! He was on his way over to my BROTHER'S and another COUSIN'S tailgate to schmooze with THE FAM!! EVERYONE up there is so PUMPED and READY TO GO!! I could hear all the students in their TAILGATE SECTION...MAN....I WISH I WAS THERE!!!

TONI...I do NETFLIX too and LOVE THEM!!! It's so easy isn't it? I'm watching the last movie (MRS HARRIS) it's about the TARNOWER MURDER...Annette Benning plays Jean Harris and she's doing a wonder job! Ben Kingsley plays Dr TARNOWER and of course, ANYTHING he does is GREAT!!
MISSY...Sorry about the game...it was a great one though...Kate watched every second of it...I tried to be distracted and watched a movie but check every now and then...when there was no score, I knew it had been a good game!!! I bet it will be the TALK of TV SPORTS all week...and that FIELD GOAL that went STRAIGHT OUT instead of up...TOMMY actually laughed on NATIONAL TV...that, will be the play of the week...mark my word!! WELL GIRLFRIENDS...less than thirty minutes to go...I'll talk to all of you tomorrow...the game will be on until late!!!
I used to think catering was the hardest money I ever made. Now I am not so sure. Dealing with bridal parties is neck in neck with the stress of catering. The groomsmen had a cooler of beer on the trolley that was carrying the bridal party from the hotel to the church to the reception...and brought half drunk bottles into the church and left them in the trash where they spilled... A few of the bridesmaids had cans of Bud Light and left them in the Sunday school room they were sitting in while they waited for the wedding. They brought bottles of water, and tubs with ice, which leaked all over the foyer...it was a MESS. It was so disorganized. And the father of the bride got upset with ME because of it. All I was supposed to do was direct. I was not supposed to make sure the whole dang thing went well. The grandmother of the groom came up to me though, and patted my hand and told me it was beautiful, and went absolutely perfectly. I could have kissed her.
So the wedding is over, and we are going to head over to our favorite Mexican restaurant for a spot of dinner. I am too pooped to cook.
I plan on starting the new board for the week tomorrow. Then I will be leaving in the afternoon and will probably not be back until Thursday. Ya'all keep the board going in my absence, ok?
