Hello everyone,
Things are CRAAAAzY here at our house. Pretty much the whole house is a work zone. Even our bedroom. We have sanity, somewhat, in our kitchen, and here in my study. I had to turn the AC off because so many doors and windows were open that I was air conditioning the outdoors. Fortunately it is only about 90° here. The workers are all very nice and they show up faithfully every day, so we don't have to put up with various sub-contractors showing up who-knows-when. It has been a bit harder to get my morning walk in because there are things to review and talk about when they arrive, about 8 a.m. and by the time we get everything squared away it is about 9, and I still haven't even had breakfast.
Perhaps I will go out after I finish this post and get a walk in. That makes the walking become "work". Ugh.
Eating is so-so. Almost catch as catch can. I can't really use my stove for a couple of days because I had a defect (the paint was peeling off the front) repaired, and it takes 3 days for the paint to cure. So I think we are going out tonight.
Heart, it was nice to see you on the board.
Tree--Wherever you are, hope your pregnancy is going well.
Thin, hope everything goes A-OK with your son and the op.
My sister called my DM when they got back from the chemo treatment at Duke. My mother acted like nothing had happened at all, which is her way of avoiding the entire thing. Never any apology, or anything. It is really sad! I wonder if she really had any idea how hurtful she is. Even when we are telling her, I wonder if she really doesn't comprehend it because her wall of pride prevents her from doing so. Again, I remind all of us to make amends. Life is too short to let bitterness chop off some good relationships.
Well, I thought I just check in, so I'd better go and try to get in my walk.

I've still got some
to do, and will start that in a few.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful SB day and I will post after my workout...Am going to start walking with my brother-in-laws wife next week. It helps to have someone to walk with I hate doing it by myself.
