My car has been out of commission for a while, so I've been walking to and from work. Today, I went shopping when I got off of work, and walked 1.75 miles with a small duffel bag worth of groceries (including not-light things such as a large jar of peanut butter, two large jars of jelly, etc.) strapped to my back and three plastic bags worth of lighter items (frozen dinners, etc.)...If I had to estimate, I'd say I probably carried home and extra 30 lbs.
I say this is only "sort of" an NSV because that's the amount of weight I've lost so far. The fact that I carried it and can put it down and off my body when I got home is the NSV!

And I realized I never want to have to carry it again, at least inside my skin, if you know what I mean.
