Sort of NSV
 

My car has been out of commission for a while, so I've been walking to and from work. Today, I went shopping when I got off of work, and walked 1.75 miles with a small duffel bag worth of groceries (including not-light things such as a large jar of peanut butter, two large jars of jelly, etc.) strapped to my back and three plastic bags worth of lighter items (frozen dinners, etc.)...If I had to estimate, I'd say I probably carried home and extra 30 lbs.

I say this is only "sort of" an NSV because that's the amount of weight I've lost so far. The fact that I carried it and can put it down and off my body when I got home is the NSV! :carrot: And I realized I never want to have to carry it again, at least inside my skin, if you know what I mean. :tired:

There is no such thing as a "sort of" NSV... you got one!! :) That is what is neat about 3FC... ALL victories are cheered and supported!! :high:

I agree with Dance. NSV all the way. You're walking 3+ miles per day and carrying stuff. Heavy stuff today! That's something to cheer about, so I will: :cheer: Yay!

Great Job on the walking, AND the 30 pound weight loss. Keep it up.

Good for you Fl_Chickie. Congrats on the loss as well! :D It must have felt great to be able to remove that 30 lb backpack and remember you don't HAVE to carry that around anymore. The walking you have been doing sounds great too, keep up the good work!
